Anyway for the-random-fact-that-no-one-asked-for! Most of the chivalrous and morally incorruptible knights were actually inspired by Galahad, the illegitimate son of Lancelot and Guinevere. When he was introduced, he was pretty much the only knight to be like the modern knight stereotype. In fact chivalry was a knight's job, which meant that they can adhere to the code of chivalry while still being an asshole. 

 

TLDR; Most Arthurian knights were assholes and Galahad pretty much was was the only "chivalrous and incorruptible knight" there.
