Avarice Shadow
So I'm playing Path of Radiance for the first time and I'm really enjoying the game so far, but I was just concerned about some thing. I know that Ike has to fight a certain somebody however, I'm not sure when. Will Ike get to promote before this? Also is it game over if you can't win? saisymbolic
By the time Ike has to seriously fight that "certain someone," he will be promoted, yes. During that fight, I believe you have to either beat him or escape in order to win. Ike losing means Game Over, I believe. However, there is a time before that fight that the "certain person" will appear, and it would be in your best interest if you run away as soon as possible with all of your units. Avarice Shadow
Ah I see, so there's an option to escape and you'll be promoted before that certain fight. That's good news! I was afraid that I would be in trouble because my Ike is already at level 20 and he's unpromoted. Yeah I saw those stats in that one chapter and said heck no then proceeded to run for my life lol! Thanks for clearing that up for me!
MisterIceTeaPeach
Ike has an autopromotion after chapter 17. [spoiler=About the fight] The reward for beating the boss is a better substitute unit.
Avarice Shadow
That's very good to know, in fact, I'm almost at that chapter! Now I'm very interested in that substitute unit... Hope that they are somebody very interesting! Thanks for the reply!
