Who wants to use popular characters from the Fire Emblem series when you can use Sword Fighter? At least then we'd have a playable Bow Cavalier. Assuming Distant Counter works like all the other 1-tier skills, then it'd be obtainable at 4*...which is basically ~2k Feathers for Distant Counter to distribute to whoever you want (as long as they're 1-range...obviously).
