Owain Dark
So, I've noticed a few times, that the German FE fb account makes weird translations. Current case is this: They translate "worst in history" as lausigste der ganzen Geschichte (which would be "most lame/boring in whole history") And I've wondered, if other FE accounts do weird translations also? DuckPhoenix
I think the word fits quite well actually. I do not know how you use "lausig", but I would use it instead of "really bad". The Duden definition also uses it as "bad" rather than "lame/boring". https://www.duden.de/rechtschreibung/lausig I think some translations sound weird too, but they are not wrong. Lausig does mean lame or boring. Worst would be "schlimmste" which definitely makes more sense.
NPP
Hello, I'm from Germany and I am pretty sure that "lausig" means "bad". "lausig" might sound a little bit weird, as it is a rather uncommon word, but it definitely fits.
DuckPhoenix
@Owain Dark Okay. Use it that way then. Might be your dialect that uses it like this. 2 minutes ago, NPP said: Hello, I'm from Germany and I am pretty sure that "lausig" means "bad".
