But Colbert beats Stewart, no further discussion. Plus, the Daily Show can't be Fire Emblem-meme'd or whatever. Comments like, "I liked so-and-so", "So-and-so was lame", "Make it longer", "So-and-so should guest star/so-and-so should be a news story". Herr Wozzeck Posted November 19, 2008 Share Posted November 19, 2008 Colbert and Stewart both have their strong points; Colbert has 'The Word', and Stewart has his crew running around showing how stupid some people really are. They're both good in their own little ways, so really, neither one is better than the other. But on to the comic itself... The 'you'll get no sympathy from me' bit was pretty clever. I felt that the rest of the comic was amusing at best and really nothing more (and believe me, there's a difference between people being side-splittingly funny and people being amusing).
