Did you ever give up hope...

I thought he was gonna live because it was a Nintendo game.

That doesn't have anything to do. Do you know the game, Mother 3? Well in that game Lucas' brother, Claus, he dies in certain point of the game, so does his mother.

Spoilers that I already know.

And Sacred Stones came out before that.

Mother 3 was never even released in English :U

That's why there's an English translation patch. ;)

And yes, support convos are chock full of character development, so anybody who says there's no character development doesn't explore the game a lot.

And just because it's kid friendly entertainment doesn't mean that people don't die. Disney is family entertainment, and yet Bambi's mom still gets killed. ;)

Plus, it's a war game. Characters die every 5 seconds.

I actually didn't find Ismaire's death sad in the slightest; I mean, we knew her for, what, one scene? And I just was all 'okay... makes sense, I guess...' at Josh being the prince of Jehanna. So that doesn't even count as an emotional moment.

But Lyon's sweet. He's a nice, sweet boy. And Saleh obviously wants to bang a dragonkin, and Seth is all "You no touch, me no touch. Me knight you queen."

Lol... I needed to laugh today...

The fact that its true is what makes it more funny.

Though IMO Eirika's best suitor is Seth. Atleast he gets out of the "You no touch, me no touch" phase.

Seth is too old for Eirika, Lyon is too weak and Saleh barely knows her.

Then Eirika's perfect suitor is Ephraim!

Ephraim is not old (he is in the same age as her).

Ephraim is not weak (he is one of the strongest characters in this game).

Ephraim knows her very well (he lives with her since they were born).

There. ;)

We actually don't know how old Seth is, though judging by his appearance he's not THAT much older.

And even if he were, it's not unheard of for a 16-year-old boy to fall in love with a 1,000-year-old woman, so why should the reverse be an issue?

To everyone who says there was no character development:

Support conversations.

This has just as much character development as any other game in the series, if not more. (FE1, 3, 10, and DS, I'm looking at you.)

No, I was referring to FE as a series. However, that makes me sound like a troll.

Damn >________>

I was yelling at my brother, and then my mom came in. I was reading the other page in this thread, and I accidently shouted "TELL JOSH TO SHUT UP!!!!!!!!"

I never knew that reading big text ACTUALLY made you accidently say it :D

(his name is not Josh)

LOL, that would be incest.

Eh, Lyon is so-so. He was a boring character. I thought he was gonna be purified, and he would live in the end though.

In my opinion, Lyon was a cool character, even if he was evil in the end.

And did he really envy Ephraim?

So what? Is not like it was something new in FE.

And did he really envy Ephraim?

OH YES, of course he did! Ephraim has Eirika! So he is 'Eirika-less', hence the envy.

Incest? In my Fire Emblem?

Is a tradition.

Though it still can be considered as a special one, since this is not an ordinary incest.

But a better version of it. Twincest.

And what does that have to do with the topic at hand?

Anyways, yeah, I personally don't think there's enough chemistry between Ephraim and Eirika for there to be a case of twincest here. I personally think the chemistry boils with all other love interests (except Innes, who I think is a real dick sometimes personality-wise), especially Seth.
