--ACE--
In P3Fes you can revive Chidori, in P3P you can save Shinjiro, and I was wondering if there is any more of those little things in the Game that i should know.
Zapp Branniglenn
Well there's plenty in the way of missables due to the calendar system. Don't expect to max out all social links unless you're playing alongside a guide. And keep an eye on Elizabeth's requests, since most of them have deadlines. Some can only be completed by talking to a specific character on a certain day (the quest description will tell you what day that is). And I believe the ones where you take her out are a pre-requisite for later ones. Those don't take up time like the Social Links do. Completing all of her requests doesn't grant you any bonus, so you can afford to miss some here or there, but most are worth doing in their own right. I've only played FES, so apologies if my info doesn't apply to Portable. As for plot important stuff like you have in the OP, the only detail I would add is that the big decision that decides whether you get the good or bad ending is made very obvious for the player. There are no pre-requisites to worry about in unlocking the good ending. So you shouldn't be blindsided with a result you didn't want like in other Atlus games. If you have to know the exact date where it happens, it's December 31st. And that's where you can drop a second save file in case you want to watch the bad ending later on. Eltosian Kadath
You can do the Chidori revival event in P3P as well, and do note that the Shinjiro saving event only occurs in the Female MC option that P3P added, as it changed up quite a few of the social links (making Shinjiro the Moon for her if I remember correctly). Its minor, but P3P added a tiny bit to the ending where you can interact with allies that you don't get social links with. I think this is P3P only, but I am not entirely sure, but on New Game + you can spend the last scene in the game with someone you had a romantic maxed social link with (although the original version fits the story much better...) On the less secret side, a few things you should probably know about the difference between the versions. P3FES doesn't give you full control over your allies in combat (which can be very annoying, such that there is a common P3FES patch which adds this feature to the game), and P3P also changed how extra attacks work with multitarget spells to match P4's system. P3P also ended up gutting the fatigue system of the other versions, which while annoying early on, become kinda interesting after you get more than a full party's worth of allies. P3P also has a few clear limitations added to it from being on the PSP, like some cutscenes becoming talking head scenes, and removing the mundane world exploration with a system more reminiscent of Visual Novels. P3P added rescue quests, where normal people will become trapped in Tartarus until you save them, as well as some late game content with the Vision Quest hall, including an optional boss fight with Margaret. Some other minor changes in P3P include limited the MC to the weapon type that only they could use, instead of letting them wield any weapons they wanted; letting you level persona to get skill cards; added more possible events for Tartarus; removing the late night studying; and replacing the combo spells with item equivalents. And of course there is the big one of P3FES having The Answer, and P3P has the Female MC. Personally I slightly prefer P3P, but its really down to personal preference. What's mundane about it? If you ask me, cutting all the environments and replacing them with a gif and text menus is pretty mundane. Do the same thing to any RPG and you'll feel that loss. I meant mundane as a way to describe which part of world exploration was removed, its the normal everyday aspect of the game in which the exploration was remove, as opposed to the fantastical part of world exploration that occurs in Tartarus and the Full Moon events, which still occur in the game. --ACE--
That's some useful information you guys, but what i'm asking is if there's more missable little events like the Chidori and Shinjiro ones.
henrymidfields
I don't think so. Aside from the above and maybe romancing Akihiko, Ken, or Shinjiro but those are social links. If you romance them, you can get them to join you in place of Aigis during the March 5 ending on your New Game Plus run, however. I think Yukari, Mitsuru, or Fuuka on the male route is also the same. --ACE--
Thanks! but now i have another question, where do i find the Death Arcana Personas? I want to fuse Thanatos, and i already know how to get Alice (with Elizabeth), but I want to know where the remaining Death Personas are, like, which block of Tartarus they are. Zapp Branniglenn
When filling out your compendium, I find it's easier to use a fusion calculator than hope you come across those personas in the wild. Just click on the Persona you don't have and you'll see all the possibilities you can buy and fuse together.
