Don't call it E3: Summer Games Fest and other 'Direct' Videos in June

Recommended Posts

Lots of stuff announced. Everyone got something for their table. Not as hype as the State of Play last week but still got me interested.

The Day of the Devs got included and they announced indies + the upcoming Annapurna Interactive Showcase for the 28th of July.

Lastly for Day1 of the SGF, Devolver Digital :

I definitely recommend the Day of the Devs segment from yesterday. A lot of delightful games were shown off. The highlights for me were Choo Choo Charles and Bear and Breakfast. as for the main SGS show, my favorites were Witchfire and TMNT (Six player Co-op!?).

The Devolver Digital show was delightful as it was every year. For the fifth year in a row they have won E3, even when there is no E3 to win. People say the opening minute of Mecha Suda 51 counting down went on for too long, but I say when you're king for this long, you're allowed to spin your wheels with your audience. Also the Plucky Squire looks delightful.

Of course that's not all for Keigh-3, the shows continue today for: Netflix Geeked Week, Epic Games store Showcase, and Tribeca Games Showcase. All of which will be streamed on the game awards youtube channel. June 11 opens early in the morning with the Guerilla Collective, Wholesome Direct, and Future Games Show. And then on June 12 we're back to AAA gaming with Xbox + Bethesda.

Gee, I wonder if this will be the last year Bethesda will get top billing in the name of the show. They're not gonna call it Xbox + Bethesda + Activision in 2023 will they? Probably just consolidate it all down to Xbox. Or The Game Pass Showcase.

You forgot the Summer of Gaming. Hosted by IGN.

And the PC Gaming Show on Sunday too.

Triple A gaming takes its revenge today in an hour with the Xbox/Bethesda conference. Hope you've got the popcorn because I'm hearing this one is no shorter than last year's. Clocking in at a feature length 95 minutes. There's a pretty intense conspiracy theory surrounding something Banjo related. Not a leak or rumor, but people reading into things like Phil Spencer's achievement log, and a grant kirkhope tweet denying the project - something he had only ever done before back with E3 2019 with THAT Banjo reveal he helped bring to life. I think I prefer seeing this moon logic stuff. This is better than posting an anonymous list on resetera.

It's almost over. I have to say, I wasn't expecting to see Riot Games in the GamePass. Blizzard games being shown to remind people that XBOX owns the house now. And as usual a lot of cool stuff. Still no news about HellBlade 2 though. PC Gaming Show was massive too.

As a reminder for Steam Player, the Steam Neo Fest has started. Check it out and find your next favorite indie or just try out some demos. There is something for everyone.

Guerrilla Collective 3.5 just finished and the Capcom Showcase is just about 30 minutes away.

I suppose that's a wrap for I Can't Believe it's Not E3 2022. There is one last order of business that I know of, and it's in just one hour. The Xbox + Bethesda Live Showcase Extended. They'll be going for another 90 minutes. They did this same thing last year, I don't think the event had any new game premieres, but was loaded with gameplay demos and developer interviews of stuff from the main show. Presumably everything they had ready for the main event but thought would drag down the pacing. How thoughtful! Especially coming off of yesterday's torturous Capcom showcase. Exoprimal and RE8 DLC are way cooler than expected, but there was nearly no new material for RE4 and SF6. And parading around the name of Dragon's Dogma near gave us a heart attack!

I still believe. Tomorrow's the anniversary.

Overall, this was a stocked week.

I already know from experience that now there are no difficulties with how you can pick up ways to earn capital. But as for me the best way is to play online casino. Many do not even know how to do it better and what developer is the best. But I personally believe that the best is https://pokiesman.com/pragmatic-play/ , I highly recommend looking at and reading it in detail. I've learned a lot about it and found a list of casinos where there are these slot machines
