What if Slime got in instead of Hero?

Fun fact: while Hero was Sakurai's first choice for a Dragon Quest rep, he was okay with doing the Slime in the event that SE didn't allow the Hero to be used. This got me thinking recently...what if this ended up being the case and Slime was the DQ rep for Fighters Pass Vol. 1?

Moveset

Spoiler

I designed the Slime's moveset with similar ideas to Hero-representing the gameplay of Dragon Quest while using its most recognizable character. However, the biggest difference between Slime and Hero is how MP is handled. You still start out with 100MP and slowly build it up over time (1MP per second; thr gauge refills faster every time Slime takes and receives damage, but halts every time Slime opens the Command Menu). However, as you'll see soon, the Command Menu has only 10 spells to work with, along with visual indicators as to which spell does what to avoid the language barrier. Stats-wise, Slime would be lightweight, about the size of Olimar, and his defense wouldn't be the best. Slime also can't jump very high, with his double jump just barely going high enough to jump onto Battlefield's platforms from below. However, while his attack power is mixed overall, he has that to make up for his shortcomings and his movement speed is pretty fast overall, especially his dash speed.
