  1. New game. would i have enough time before the timeskip to max out brigand and then another intermediate class for byleth, ingrid and dimitri? they all have e ranks in axes by chapter 5, and i'm already doing the milkan battle.
  2. I'm at chapter 5 of Blue Lions: Maddening. Byleth, Dimitri and Ingrid had their axe ranks neglected, while my other physical units were well on their way to becoming brigands. My logic with Dimitri was that his axe weakness would make that route hard, but thinking back it would have been really easy to just bring him up to d+. That I might have made a mistake with optimizing my units is giving me conniptions, and it is tempting me to tank 9 hours of progress to start over and do it right. Should I restart from the beginning to give all my physical units axe ranks, so they can get death blow from Brigand?
  3. ...Me and my big mouth, amirite? Sorry about that. And for keeping you waiting. When are you available for trade?
  4. Bro, I was talking about mine. Sure. I don't care for Arcanine that much, but it's good to have one just in case.
  5. Modest. I was making the Bulky Pivot set. However! I do have a perfect Bold Rotom; and with my friend's 6IVed Korean Ditto, breeding yours will be a snap. 3540 0008 2673 Just...Give me some time. I am also working on a Mold Breaker Drillbur.
  6. Though I concede it is a shitty game, I have a soft spot for Barbie Horse Adventure, if only because, as a kid, I played it more than I should have,
  7. Offering; 5IV Rotom. Looking for: Fuckin' anything, just get these Rotom off my hands.
  8. Achieved 90 in Battle Streak, only losing to Brightpowder. I feel your pain, Comet. Current Y Online Team: Volcarona, Dragonite, Rotom-W, Staraptor, Ferrothorn, M-Scizor. Quiver Dance Timid Volcarona has life orb, Dragon Dance Adamant Dragonite has Weakness Policy, Chocie Band on Reckless Jolly Staraptor, Impish Ferrothorn/Modest Rotom-Wash use Leftovers. For EVs, Volcarona, Dragonite, and Staraptor have the generic offensive spread. Mega Scizor has 64 Atk/252 HP/188 SpDef. Rotom wash has 56 SpAtk/220 Spd/232 HP. Ferrothorn uses 252 HP/48 Def/208 SpDef Any suggestions?
  9. I got a 6IVed Adamant HA Dratini. Happy days oh happy days Gonna use it for battle spot since Dragonite is one of the few Pokemon that uses Set Up moves well, in 3v3
  10. Here's one thing I love about megas; the ability roll means jack-shit, for every Mega that isn't Mawile. Sure, if the female is the one with the ability, the chance of having a different ability is lessened, but that chance is still there. So if you get a perfect SWARM Scyther? Who cares, Mega-Scizor gets Technician anyway.
  11. Tip; Dragon Dance is a must, since Charizard X is bar none the best offensive Dragon Dancer in the game. If you can't be arsed to breed DD into it, Swords Dance is a decent alternative. For parents, Gyarados is probably your best bet. It learns Dragon Dance earlier than most Dragon Egg Group Pokemon, IIRC. Outrage is optional; when all fairies are removed, Tough Claws and Dragon Dance-boosted Outrage will dent everything, even steel types. Go for Dragon Claw if you either can't be arsed to breed, or you don't want to give Mawile or Azumarill a free turn to set-up.
  12. Got a perfect Reckless Starly. It took me 3 Hours of Horde Hunting...Rendered worthless, once I saw a reasonable offer on the GTS, and a bit of breeding, but the raw power of Staraptor will be worth it.
  13. Here's my cartridge team. Not the best, and laughably unoriginal, but it does the job. 252 Sp Atk/Spd Timid Volcarona: Flame Body, and with Life Orb; Fire Blast, Bug Buzz, Psychic (Hurricane is better, but way too much trouble for me), Quiver Dance 194 SpD/64Atk 252 HP Adamant Mega Scizor: Bullet Punch, Roost, Defog, U-turn 252 Atk/Spd Adamant (Jolly's better, but I cannot be arsed to make another Garchomp) Garchomp with Choice Scarf: Fire Fang, Earthquake, Outrage, Stone Edge 194 SpD/64 Def/252 Hp Impish Ferrothorn with Leftovers; Stealth Rock, Spikes, Thunder Wave, Power Whip 252 HP/Atk Choice Banded Adamant Azumarill with Waterfall, Play Rough, Aqua Jet, Superpower 232 HP/56 Sp Atk/220 Spd Rotom Wash, with Leftovers; Volt Switch, Hydro Pump, Will-o-wisp, Shadow Ball (Fuck Hidden Power, and no Pain Split, because B/w2 move tutor. These are blatant copy posts of many Smogon sets, I'll admit, but...It gets the job done. The idea was to make a team that never lets up; Volcarona is a bit inconsistent, but strong; It'll either sweep a good number of enemies, or takes down a single Pokemon with it. Garchomp Revenge kills, Azumarill breaks walls. Rotom is there to check a lot of solid Physical threats, like Mega Mawile, Tyranitar, and Dragonite, while hitting hard on its own. Ferrothorn is kind of there because Stealth Rock. Defog M-Scizor is there to remove entry hazards, while maintaining an offensive presence. I tried making it so that each member covers their glaring weaknesses, though I didn't do well at covering them all
  14. @Nobody: ...Fair point. Here's something fun; access to the Original Dragon that shaped Unova. Being able to fuse both Reshiram and Zekrom back into Kyurem. Dual 170 attacking stats. Dual 100 defensive stats. All keeping Kyurem's above average 95 speed, both Reshiram and Zekrom's signature moves, and Mold Breaker (Terravolt and Turboblaze re fucking Mold Breaker anyway). Ladies and gentlemen; the greatest mixed sweeper in all of Pokemon (Deoxys A would hit harder, but it is as frail as crackers.)
  15. Level one fucking anything with endeavor kills all #truefax
  16. Tinted Lens Volcarona. While we are at it, give it Earth Power. Protean Arceus. Serene Grace on anything with Scald. Dragon Dance on Garchomp.
  17. On event Pokemon...I don't like how they're locked, only to be sent out in certain times. Sucks for people who miss these kinds of events, 'cause you have to wait quite awhile before the next one, ye piece of arse! On the event legendaries for X/Y, I am most interested in Volcanion. It looks cool, Water/Fire is interesting, and most of all, I wanna see how Team Flare's R and D sized up with Team Rocket's or Plasma's.
  18. I thought Cloyster had the Shell Smash + Skill Link thing it got going on there. Did something happen in X/Y that reduced it to a mere gimmick? And yeah, Weavile is not the best thing ever right now, but it managed to get two moves that have...Gasp, respectable BP! This is a huge boost for a Pokemon that had to deal with piss ass moves. Too bad having both Icicle Crash and Knock Off at the same time on this thing is illegal at the moment. Aaannd a new type made to destroy Weavile harder was introduced... Whoops, forgot about Kyurem-B. Why? I dunno, but I have no right to.
  19. Instead of giving us defensive ice type number fifty seven? Yeah. But hey, at least the few good offensive ice types out there are really good; Cloyster, Weavile, Mamoswine, and...Cloyster, Weavile, Mamoswine, and...Cloyster...Weavile...Mamoswine...
  20. Current team is Assault Vest Conkeldurr (Drain/Mach Punch, Payback, Stone Edge), Lum Berry Volcarona (Fire Blast, Psychic, Bug Buzz, Quiver Dance), Life Orb Reuniclus (Psyshock, Trick Room, Focus Blast, Shadow Ball), Choice Band Azumarril (Play Rough, Aqua Jet, Superpower, Waterfall), Black Sludge Crobat (Defog, Toxic, U Turn, Brave Bird), and Leftovers Ferrothorn (Thunder Wave, Stealth Rock, Spikes, Power Whip). I make a lot of questionable choices in my sets, but i can explain. I didn't have B/W2 Move Tutors on my side, when i made this team (No Knock Off or Ice Punch for Conky, or Giga Drain for Volcarona), and for everything else, I just couldn't be arsed. EV spreads are admittedly lazy, other than Ferrothorn's 252 HP, 194 Sp Def, and 64 Def. Volcarona and Crobat have 252 Attack(Special Attack)/Speed , while Azumarril, Reuniclus, and Conkeldurr have 252 HP/Attack(Special Attack). I remember someone saying that max HP, without any investment in other defensive stats is anything but optimal, so I'll probably fix that soon. Any advice, and tweaks that would help?
  21. We have enough entry hazards, meng...Ice Hazard would be insane. Buffing the ice type would involve giving it, oh I dunno...Mayhaps some resistances. Best bets are newfound resistances to water, and...I dunno...Maybe a resistance to dragon or Flying.
  22. In no order in particular: Slaking: This thing isn't the best Pokemon ever, competitively. Not by a freaking longshot. However, it's just really fun to use. It has the earth shattering power of legendaries, only being held back by Truant, which in a way, kind of makes this thing even more badass. It just doesn't give a fuck; it doesn't care if its mighty Returns match Groudon's urfquake, it just wants to be left alone. Goodra: My personal favorite Psuedo Legendary. It's not as powerful as the likes of Salamence, Tyranitar, and Dragonite, but its three amazing abilities, enormous selection of moves, respectable mixed offenses, and enormous special defense give it a solid niche. Most importantly, however...This thing...This thing is just soooo cute... Gardevoir: The Ralts line is great. Interesting, cute, badass, they have it all. You can't help but smile, when its on your team; you know it loves you dearly, and would do anything to protect you. While both Gardevoir and Gallade are awesome in their own ways, Gardevoir wins, by way of nostalgia bias. Garchomp: Only two words can describe this beast; Badass incartnate. The murderous landshark became a benchmark for speed and power the moment since it was released. B/W's Power Creep? It didn't outpace this thing. It just caught up with it. Kingdra: Looking at this thing, you can tell that it knows it is strong. It creates hurricanes by merely yawning. It doesn't bother flaunting it, though; it knows that you know how what it can do. In battle, this thing doesn't have the raw power to back it up, but it does have the tools; namely Swift Swim. Under rain, not a lot can stop this thing, Reuniclus: GF can make anything adorable; yes, even cells. The entire line is a bunch of huggable gummy bears, and unlike other evolution lines, they somehow get even cuter as they evolve. Best of all, these cute things are pretty good in battle; Reuniclus has three awesome abilities...That don't matter, because You should only be using Magic Guard. It's bar none the best Trick Room user in the game, as few thing can outsnail this thing. Magic Guard lets it use Life Orb without any penalties, and don't even bother trying to wear it out, because it is bulky ad hell, and lol magic guard. It's the complete package; it hits hard, and you can't help but want to hug it, Chandelure: Great design, interesting concept, and hits like a nuke; not much else to say, other than it rules. Gyarados: Those 8-10 levels will be the longest in your life, but damn it if the payoff isn't worth it. When the coy jumps over the dragon's gate, it becomes one hell of a flying jumbo shrimp, with a fabulous mustache-esque whiskers to boot. Volcarona: One bug immune to the zapper. A rare Pokemon with the sheer power that rivals legendaries. A moth with flames so intense that it can replace the sun itself. A Pokemon whose raw power and grace had it reverred as a deity. Yeah, thing rules. Its mythology is not all it has going for it; the design is great; never thought bugs and fire could blemd so seemlessly, till you meet this thing. Value in combat? Meet one of the only Pokemon whose raw stats and moveset make up for a crippling stealth rock weakness. Nuclear special attack, good HP, speed, and special defense; only bad stats are attack and defense. On top of a respectable list of special attacking moves, it gets one of the best set up moves in the game; Quiver Dance. Boosting its Sp Atk, Sp Def, and Speed at the same time is just golden, and with it, Volcarona becomes a nuclear force that can break walls like nothing. It might not be a legendary, but sure has the stats, mythology, and capacity of one. Blaziken: My favorite Pokemon ever. It's badass, yes; a kick boxing fire chicken has to try hard not to. It's boost in Speed Boost gave it uber sweeping Potential, and even before, it was a respectable wall breaker, but...Really, most of my love can be attributed to nostalgia. Emerald was my first game ever, and Blaziken was my first starter ever, and no matter how many new Pokemon are introduced, I'll always love the fire Hoenn starter the best.
