  1. Happy Birthday, sorry for being a little late!!!

  4. Uber spears aside, I just always have better luck raising Hector than Eliwood. Lyn usually gets good level-ups in my files, too, which leaves poor Eliwood cold and alone, shivering on the sidelines. (Or maybe from the relative safety of Merlinus's tent.) At any rate, Eliwood does have a personality; he's quiet, thoughtful, and a romantic. But generally people prefer characters like Hector. I like Hector-- he's so rude and he doesn't even know it. But if I ever met someone like him in real life? I think I'd want to punch him really hard. I wouldn't actually do it, but... Eliwood would be that rational, always-able-to-depend-on-no-matter-what kind of friends. You could trust him with a secret, get advice from him, et cetera, without any worries about him not taking things seriously when they needed to be. He does have a sense of humor, too, which is nice. (You have to have some sense of humor to hang out with Hector, of course.) And Lyn's kind of a mix between Hector and Eliwood, IMHO. Mature, serious when she needs to be, playful when she knows it's okay to be, et cetera. She's got a sense of humor, and I think she's witty, too. At any rate, best =/= favorite. While Hector has always been the best "lord" character, with all kinds of maxed stats, he is not my favorite. Lyndis is.
  5. I've never been in that situation, though I suppose I have been presented with the opportunity? I guess if it works for people, that's fine, but it won't ever work for me. I would be the half of the pair to feel an emotional connection develop, and I know when it ended I'd be the one left feeling hurt, not the other way around.

    Pets!

My favorite breed. *_* I personally have three cats, all white. My favorite acts like a dog. She plays fetch with rubber bands and growls when people come to the door. :3 But my family has six cats, five of which are all indoors, one of which comes in and out. And we have two strays that we feed. We also have a dog that stays outside. He is probably the stupidest dog I have ever seen in my life.

    Who Resembles You?

Physically speaking I probably look most like...Lucius. [snorts] Yeah, except I probably have bigger muscles. :U And then, ah, just because of having blonde hair and blue eyes, Oscar François de Jarjayes from Rose of Versailles (anime/manga), and I used to get called Marcia (from The Brady Bunch). Oh, and people tell me I look like Carrie from the movie by the same name. (I have never seen it, and never will, I hope.)
  8. I have two Dell laptops. The one I'm on usually is for writing and just surfing the net. My other one which was almost twice as expensive is for playing World of Warcraft and using Photoshop/storing photographs/et cetera.
  9. Peacock Blue. Yeah, it's a lovely color. I own several shirts in that color. But other than that... brown, black, and white.

    Well met!

Hi there! Wow, it's good to see you here.
  11. YouTube: Wonderful Words of Life (Just noticed one of my AMV's got taken down. Argh.) FanFiction.Net: Kitten Kisses (Most of my Fire Emblem stuff is, of course, Kent/Lyndis, so if you don't like that pairing, you might want to avoid my 'fics.) DeviantART: Into the Dream (I pretend like I can draw sometimes, but I don't really use dA very often anymore.) LiveJournal: Wonderful_Words (In which I ramble about fandom, about fanfiction-writing, and about cats.) I think that's all...
  12. Of course! But moving into another area sometimes isn't the best choice, either. For example, just because you move doesn't mean you'll find a job. And lots of times, if you're broke, you can't afford to move. (You have to pay first and last month's rent most places nowadays, at least the last time I checked.) Alas, the world is not a kind place. Edit: Oops, didn't see this (well, before I posted)-- Well, I mean easier than where I live. Honestly, I've never lived in a city so I don't know how much easier it is to find a job, and sometimes race does impact whether or not you'll get a job. (Just like being a man or a woman has the potential to impact that, even if it's not supposed to.) So I guess I meant (from what you said) that it might be easier in your area than it is in my area. Or maybe in the original poster's area. And yes, I do live in the middle of nowhere, haha. ^^
  13. Some people can't help being a little overweight. Some people have medical issues that prevent them from dieting, or make it ten times as hard to lose weight. However, I personally feel that most of the time, massive weight-gain is avoidable. I always look at it this way: it's easy to gain weight for most people, but it's not easy to lose it. I'd much rather eat better now than struggle to lose weight later. Also, calorie-counting works really well. My sister has been doing it and is nearing her target weight rapidly. She wasn't massively overweight, but she is naturally big-boned and is topheavy, haha. So she wanted to lose about 20-30lbs to be at a healthier weight, and so that she felt better about herself. It's really helped with her self-esteem, too. And her boyfriend is very encouraging. I eat pretty much what I want and struggle to make it over 100lbs. Actually, I used to weigh 115lbs (at 5'0'') but after getting a job in a factory, it wasn't long before I dropped those 15lbs. At any rate, I have learned to eat 10 times a day (it seems I eat that much) and I eat small meals. My stomach can't hold hardly anything. (Seriously, I can't stomach two Pop Tarts in one sitting.) But it works out great. (And I never eat until I feel full. I eat until I know I've had enough.) This lets me eat whatever I want. Like soda-pop, for example. I love it, and I can't stand diet. So it's nice to be able to drink lots of it. 8D Crackers, though. I'm not a huge fan of crackers. My downfall is potatoes. Oh, man, do I love them... =P
