  1. Personally I would go for Master Ninja because of the speed, I would use Vanguard with a +SPD.

So I did my revelations pairings and want some advice in how to change them to make them better, I focus mostly around 12-14 kids to have the best mother possible since it appears that there are some of them that have a "best mother" in common. Avatar x Effie!Velouria (+ STR - LCK ) Azura x Kaze Selena x Jakob Silas x Mozu Rinkah x Ryoma (could do Kagero instead, but is mostly for Ryoma than for Shiro) Takumi x Hana ( Mostly to patch Takumi's speed, mostly for Takumi than for his son) Saizo x Sakura ( I am thinking a mixed Asugi Ninja set with Soldier Knife + Leo Iceblade/ Flame Shuriken) Kaden x Oboro ( I used Oboro instead of Hinoka because of the -SKL mod was more noticeable) Hinata x Kagero ( I dont care about Hisame but I dont know where to put Kagero) Azama x Setsuna ( I dont particularly care about Mitama, so if someone makes a better use of Setsuna I can change her) Subaki x Hinoka ( It was her or Oboro, but Selkie needed Oboro more IMO ) Orochi x Hayato Xander x Charlotte Leo x Nyx Benny x Beruka Keaton x Effie ( Prefer her instead of Camilla since more STR and Scavenge can procc somewhat more consistently) Arthur x Peri Odin x Elise Laslow x Camilla ( Camilla has overall better mods than Peri and also both of her personal skills synchronize pretty well) Niles x Felicia So I want to focus mostly on: Velouria Kana Shiro(that helps him and his father), Kiragi( mostly the best pair up for Takumi, unlike Shiro I dont care about Kiragi) Asugi(mixed ninja) Selkie Caeldori Siegbert Ophelia Soleil Nina Midori Rhajat Forrest Also need help where to put Azura and Kagero, I think Azura is fine where it is but not that sure and Kagero seems wasted on Hisame
  3. A lot of the children supports feel so meh, I was hoping something like Morgan(M) x Nah, I am not saying Awakening was stupidly amazing but IMO the children there felt much more developed. I really disagree with how they managed characters with great potential like Soleil, her character is so confusing because it is fully implied(and even said by some characters) that she wants to be romantically involved with girls, but then she is unable to marry one and somehow can get married to men, I dont know if she is straight, lesbo, bi,etc; then she is portraited as a cool girl but instead her convos shows that she is a stalker. That said I prefer a lot more the non-children characters here than in awakening, Felicia x Corrin is nice and feels somewhat natural, Camilla x Corrin was a wasted opportunity, they could have talked about how Camilla got to love Corrin to that extend, but instead we got just a random trip.

You would be surprised about dragonstones sometimes, they actually can be very effective in Limited Battle PvP, since the power creep is considerable less they can tank nicely in a Wary Fighter set, you can one shot people without worrying about dying. Is harder to use them on a non-Limited Battle environment though, but still is somewhat viable.
  5. I support Saizou x Sakura, Asugi is a nice mixed unit because of his innate growths and there are not a lot of mothers who give good STR and MAG mods at the same time.

Well pairing wise I like Sakura more also, I use SaizoxSakura as a personal favorite for Asugi to have nice growths in STR and MAG, alongside good mods, love using Flame Shuriken x Brave Shuriken+Leo's Cold Sword, also red hair coolness. Tough in regular gameplay the pony healer is more useful, and well she can reach lvl 10 the chapter she joins, you just need to farm EXP for her, even without that is not that you need her to promote that badly since she is good the moment she joins, mobility has always been an important factor and the fact that at a base Elise has it as a healer unit is pretty good, the primary goal of Sakura and Elise is healing, and since Elise can do it better because of the mobility it has at the moment she joins it means she is better. EDIT: Also grinding just for healers is better than needing to grind for more than half of your units so they dont become garbage later *coughcough*DawnBrigade*coughcough* so is not that time consuming.
  7. Your healer should never take a hit in the first place, also Elise is cuter cause cinnamon rolls. Corrin, Camilla, Ryouma, Felicia/Jakob, Azura, Takumi are going to be your best units, Felicia/Jakob can get weapon rank/experience in the first revelations chapters, Camilla and Ryouma are stupidly good the moment they join, Azura is self explanatory, Elise is the best healer overall, Takumi joins early with a 14MT weapon that lets him pseudo fly so yeah. The next ones will probably the remaining Royals, Kaze, Rinkah is useful cause her pair up, you could buddy her to Charlotte for ZerkerRinkah if you like her, though is somewhat time consuming, Oboro is also nice. @FometChaserPair, the level ups rolls are set, but that doesnt mean that changing class does not help, example you have a growth of 45 and in the next level up the roll is 47 so you dont gain that stat, but if you change to a class that goes above 47 you will gain it, like in the case of OniRinkah to ZerkerRinkah

The priority is based if you can respond to the attack or not, then goes what unit takes the most amount of damage or can be killed, for example I have Sothe and Edward, Sothe is not equipped with a weapon and Edward has a Wind Edge(if you equip a 1 range weapon units like archers and mages will go for Edward if he is weaker since he cannot counterattack), this means that enemies will not attack Edward and go for Sothe, in the case of Ballistae and Meteors since you cannot fight back they will target the unit with less def or res in range. This is useful since you can for example unequip Sothe so enemies target him and make leveling Nolan and Edward easier since Enemy Phase is not that much of a pain for training.

Yeah, that kinda makes her more useful in Revelations, on the good side of things he has access to two great skill trees, her personal Pair Up bonus is also pretty useful since she gives +1 SPD,DEF,STR in A rank on top of the class Pair Up bonus. I agree with you, but since a lot of people tend to blame her mostly for her growths I wanted to take that out of my chest,lol.

So I was doing some stat comparisons between ZerkerRinkah and other units, like SpearMOboro: Oboro HP 45% STR 55% MAG 20% SKL 55% SPD 55% LCK 45% DEF 50% RES 35% Rinkah HP 50% STR 50% MAG 15% SKL 65% SPD 60% LCK 35% DEF 45% RES 20% As you can see Rinkah only loses for a 5 point difference in STR, is balanced with having a 5 point advantage in speed, alongside a nice 10 point in skill, this makes Zerker Rinkah have slightly better offensive growths than Oboro, but the main selling point of her is that she can pull off a more constant +4 damage boost thanks to her personal skill. In the defensive department she is almost equal in the physical side but is kinda behind in the magic one because of her res. In conclusion I think on paper people give up on Rinkah because at first glance she seems(and well it has) low growths on key stats for tanking(HP) or attacking(STR in particular), but taking into account how the overall growth system works(personal+class=final) means that thanks to Zerker she is able to patch pretty well those stats, some may think this can be applied to everyone, but that is not the case, for example a character like Hinata that has a growth 15% in SPD can only reach 35% at max because the classes that gives the most percentage in SPD only reach 20% at max.

  12. To my knowledge it compares the stats that Caeldori is using for attacking, like if you are using a Silver Naginata and you have 28 STR it will activate as long as your enemy is above 28, and if you use a Bolt Naginata and your MAG is 27 it will activate as long as your enemy is above 27.
  13. It depends, the female that gives MU more benefits is Felicia because of her personal skill, and altough is not bad for Kana there are better mothers. Optimization is very subjective, in awakening Apotheosis gives you the chance to use 20 units if i remember correctly, so maxing every kid (altough not necessary) was considered being optimal, but in this case when talking about PvP is kinda different, since in the sense you want to have the 5 strongest units, if you want a pair up bot for Kamui/Avatar in PvP Felicia would be a great candidate, but if your style is focused like in Galeforce builds marrying a character like Caeldori or Velouria is pretty good(and also for Kana). Marrying a +STR -LCK avatar to Azura gives you a pretty amazing Kana and Shigure, you may lose a kid but this way you have 2 great kids, so it really depends what you prefer.

  15. Selena is not that bad, only a few give Caeldori positive mods without damaging her DEF+ mods, and with her personal skill that negative -1 mod could help you in a way.

Well I am aiming for a "Limited Battle" team, where stat boosters like Dracoshield and Eternal Seals are ignored, so that is why I wanted to know how Aptitude and Reclassing affects the growths. Oh yeah sorry for that, I meant that level ups stat gains are fixed upon recruitment, like you can have your avatar level up 4 stats in one file and 3 on another one even if they have the same boon, but in the first file no matter how much you restart it will always have the same level up stats gain. So for example lets see, like the the game rolls a value of 47, without aptitude I have 40(just an example), so the stat does not go up, but if I equip it it will go up right? But I wanted to know about class changing, does the roll stays the same(47)? or it has another list with different ones in that particular class? @GoXDS Thinking a little that seems much more reasonable, it would be dumb to make a reroll every time you class change, thanks for the answer.

So as the title implies I have some doubts regarding how the growths work when factoring Aptitude and Class Changing, I know the growths in Lunatic are set the moment you recruit a character(I tested it since my Avatar had the same Level up stats). But what happens when you put Aptitude on a character? I suppose since the rolls are already done it just means that if it is in the new extended margin thanks to Aptitude it should go up or something like that. And if I class change are new rolls made the moment you do it, or are those also covered when you recruit the character?Like if I reclass Felicia into Hero can I save before I class change her to play with the RNG or is meaningless and those are also already set?

  22. I would put Felicia around 8 out of 10, in Nohr is much better IMO, the ability to debuff is much more helpful against some enemies there, being alongside Elise one of your staff users, and also when you get Flame Shuriken she becomes much better at killing, of course is more useful for MUs.
  23. So as the title implies I have some questions regarding the differences between Standard and Limited battles. 1. Does Statues bonuses caps apply in Limited? 2. How does the Eternal Seal works? (it says it has no effect, but what does it cover in general?Like any stat gained after that is not present or something like that?) 3.What does handicap before battling refers to? 4.What other bonuses are not present aside from no Forging(which is nice) and no Eternal Seals? Thanks beforehand.

Like seriously, Rolf? lol, like you need more than 10 levels just so he can become as useful as Shinon, why waste EXP on a character that is only going to become slightly different as one you already have that needs no resources? Also I want to see Takumi try to engage in 10 consecutive combats and not die, is definitely the best archer in Fates, but still needs more to be at the level of Shinon, tough is much better than Rolf and the like at least. Not saying Rolf is bad, just not as OP as Shinon and Takumi.
