  1. "Gotcha," Miria nodded, and carefully caressed Elisa's head and back into her arms. Trying to carry her by her armpits was only going to have her head hand. "I'll take the upper half, I'll just need you to lift the legs." This was all a mess, and all it did was make Miria start to question herself more. It bothered her, but... she did what she could to shake off that doubt. When Ren took a hold of the Evoker's legs, "Okay, on three. One, two... three." And she lifted Elisa off the ground.
  2. Miria gave a sigh. Everything was being handled to the best of everyone's ability. That led to her. She held the bridge of her nose as she started to think. "Okay..." She said, trying to maintain herself. There wasn't anything she needed to say now, at least, she didn't think. Now to make herself useful. Elisa had been on the ground since the light guy ran away, and Ren was tending to her. Miria brought herself over, and kneeled on the other side of the Evoker. "She's exhausted... Ren, can you help me carry her to somewhere to rest? We'll take her to my bed, it's just down the way. I don't know what happened in their room, or if something's still there... I'd rather she rest somewhere slightly safer." She gave the Evoker a soft rub of the shoulder, and gritted her teeth.
  3. Markus eyed the room, as he listened to others speak. Some brought up the group performance as a whole, while also referring to Kazue's performance. The man took a minute to gather his thoughts, he wasn't satisfied with how he performed, who was he to criticize someone else's actions? That's when he came up with an idea. He sat forward. "If there's concern with her actions as part of a team, then we could practice scenarios exactly for that in the simulators going forward. And it could help for the rest of us as well. There are several sorts of tactics and formations that not every pilot is gonna know at a glance. It would help getting her adjusted, and we all learn at the same time." He proceeded to sit back again, and waited for anyone else to input.
  4. Once covered her eyes from the flash of light. It was... painful to look at. It was probably the intention too. It seemed the man had left. There was one more assailant remaining, but he took off too. Mari started pursuing him after, hopefully she'd either be right back, or she'd survive, but knowing her... Miria knew she was competent. "Mari be careful!" Was all she could shout before the woman was halfway out. Versaris forced himself out of her arms, and fell to his knees when Tio ran over. He was a wreck, very understandably. Thankfully for him and for Aly, Ren had arrived and started healing her, and Tio was also on the way. If she came to heal him, "I'll leave Sari to you, Miss Tio." She gave a small bow, "Sorry..." The best Miria could do for now was assess the situation, and... she had finally realized Tasha wasn't here. Lani was with Syndra, it looked like she was another person they were trying to make off with, and she was wounded, and once things were over Syta ran off to het a staff. That was good, another healer out and about would be good. "Okay, okay..." Miria pondered, and decided for now, the best she could do was start helping where she could. Or at least, start trying to leave people who could help where they could. "Ren," Miria turned to them, "Keep at that, anyone who needs healing, bounce on it. Thankfully Miss Tio is out here right now, you've got a buffer. If Syta or Renais come back out, just have them help you. We've got a few wounded, and there's probably more." She turned over, a cat had also been flashbanged by that spell. "Tanya! Head to the commander's room! If something went down on their end they might need help." She turned to Lani, who was with Syndra, "Lani, like Syta said, if you can stay with Syndra. Once she's back on her feet, see what you guys can do about covering the rest of the wounded until everyone's back up." The cub didn't want to imagine if a round two suddenly happened about now. And then there's the final big one. Jesse and Üllr holding down Iris, who was still struggling to escape. Miria went over to the group, she wasn't sure how much it would work. She kneeled over, "Iris, Iris please, it's over. We have a healer for Aly and Sari. Please, we need your help right now, and running off to die is not what any of us should be doing right now." She wasn't sure if that could get through to her, but she was correct. As of right now, the Tigers needed every able body they could grab.
  5. Miria did everything in her power to keep Sari stable. It looked like... he was managing at least. She turned to see the man pointing a spell in her direction again, and a demand to end the fighting. Though it seemed more towards Sari, she was ready to put herself in the way. Thankfully, she may not have needed to, Marigold put herself in the way. She was willing to bank on whether or not that spell would kill her. She grit her teeth, being told to run, it made her feel... so much in this situation. Not good in any fashion. It was then Sari tried to push Miria out the way. His motions and his eyes were clear. Aly did fall after all. "Well then," She grabbed his arm and put it over her shoulders. "If he tries anything, it's over for both of you. At least let me try to keep you both safe, even if only a little bit." She almost felt like she was begging but she steeled herself. "Besides, you can barely walk."
  6. Markus started with a nod, letting Leon say what he felt. He pondered for a moment before he answered; of course Markus didn't think his performance was all that great, but he appreciated the gesture. "While I appreciate it, I could've performed better." He nodded again. "But that's what the sim is for. For learning, and improving." He looked directly at Leon, and gave the smallest smile. "Thank you, though." The smile wore off, and his serious mode came back, "However, I would like to apologized. I misjudged you pretty harshly and I shouldn't have. You're a pretty impressive pilot, and I do look forward to working with you, more." Rosa finally finished mixing the coffee and cream she put together. Of course, the match was already done when she finished. She laughed, as she grabbed a second cup, pure black coffee, and walked back to Cheryl. "Here you go, Cheryl~ Black coffee, fresh from the pot." After handing it over, she took a drink of her own coffee. "Ahhh~ Sheesh, that was exciting. Well, whenever you're ready, you want to go meet with the Captain for their debriefing? There should be a little bit of time before then."
  7. Miria wasn't sure what do. She paused finally when suddenly hearing Renais yell, she turned to see... Mikoto and her staring down that guy, she didn't get much in before Renais was blasted away and he carted off with the fox. How much she wanted to stop him, but... "F-Father of Galatasaray..." There was no way she was going to. So much was happening, and she felt... so strongly conflicted. Gean had Renais, Cin and the Evokers were doing what they could, and... The mage blasted Sari, sending him tumbling near-instantly. She knew the best she could do in this instance, "Tanya, you gotta find Ren and Jesse," How are they still asleep during all this?! "I'll do what I can for Sari now. It's... not much, but--" She shook her head, "No time, go do your thing." And she was already off running to the elf's side. She practically started praying he hadn't died, and even more so that someone wouldn't try and attack her while attending to the wounded. But if anyone tries, I'm not giving them the time of day, they'll die. Thankfully, as she rushed in, she saw her favorite undead doing her thing, this gave her the chance. She slid down next to Sari. Now what to do...? "Sari, this might hurt..." She grabbed the elf, and pulled him with all her strength until they were back by the wall and under cover. She may get surrounded with no way, but she'd rather take that than the potential of being attacked from all sides. Once setting him to the wall, she pulled out a vulnerary, and carefully started using it. She can at least help maintain his wounds until someone was able to come actually heal him. And protect him if she needed to.
  8. Miria wasn't sure what the man had planned, but she was ready to protect her loved ones, even if it was in vain. Luckily for her (unluckily for the rest of them) Mikoto intervened in order to protect her. And it was then he revealed his target was... Renais. And her attempt to stop the man put her in danger. "I..." He simply ignored the two of Miria and Mikoto to get his real target. Idiot! She yelled at herself, but... then there was a shout from Gean inside. She knew that Mikoto yelled to run, but… No. It wasn’t the time for that. She already put herself in enough danger already. Miria trusted the Kitsune. And it wasn’t time to go off trying to die. “O-Okay.” The girl gathered herself, and turned to Tanya. “Tanya, we gotta make sure everyone else is okay. Okay?” Miria darted off to the next place she could get to, that looked like help was needed. God, it’s so dark… Gotta keep my eyes peeled. Miria thought to use her power to light her sword, but… everything here was wooded. She just had to trust the old instincts.
  9. And with that, the mission was over. The enemies were cleared out, and the sims were finished up. Shutting down the machine, Markus sighed and scratched his head. He took a moment to assess his performance. "Decent, I guess... coulda done more, but, getting shot down probably would've sucked more. Guess I can take that." He sighed again, and opened his cockpit, seeing that Kazue had already bounced. He shrugged, as he climbed from his plane and made his way back to the hangar ground. He gave a stretch, as he went to meet up with Leon.
  10. Miria's sleep was light. There was already the whistle. Well, that was weird... She thought she could sleep it off, but then there was the sound of a window breaking. That shot the girl immediately from her position. Then there was an explosion. Miria slipped into her boots, and picked up her weapon belt. She wiped her eyes, trying to wake herself up. Soon after, she focused, and there was a flash, and she was in her armor. She armed a sword, and carefully pushed her door open. From her view, there were... it looked like figures up and around the inn. It was too dark, she couldn't get a good idea on how many their were. It was then she noticed a figure who went to one of the rooms down from her. Isn't that the trio's room? Miria wasn't sure what was going on, but she approached the person, sword drawn, maintaining her fear. "What do you think you're doing?" Was all she asked, barely feet away.
  11. Miria gave a smile to Cass as she ordered her to keep her safe, "Well, absolutely~" she replied with her big smile. While the other group chatted, Miria could feel the smallest annoyance build up in her from Kieran, but she kept that to herself. Everyone else was just that much more fun. She led the way back to the Tigers... When they made it back to the wagon, Cass immediately let go of her and approached the wagons. Miria took a breath of relief, the red in the face from the shark's flirting was clear. The cub was a talker, and the talking led to a many cute words from Cass. She shook her head trying to shake off the blushing, though it'd be to no avail. She didn't do much after, she stayed behind Cass, and kept tabs around her. The shark could handle her way around words, Miria wasn't mecessary for that.
  12. Miria sat and listened to the group bicker. It was made clear that Kieran wasn't the most favorable individual; it made sense, they were in Islexia after all. However, it did make the cub feel a bit irritated at his attitude. She was his superior from how it looked, but even he insulted her for being a Clouded? Miria was ready to step in and say something, until suddenly, Cassandra took Miria's hand, asking to be led back to their group. Her face reddened a bit as she thought of a new response. "I- um- well," She shook her head. Back into focus Miria, come on now... She instead decided to follow along with the shark woman. She responded to her hand being grabbed by tightening her own grip slightly. "In that case, you picked the right person. I'm a good protector~" She gave an assuring smile, then turned to Renais, "I guess that's that, let's head back over, Renais." And she started walking, hopefully Cassandra and the rest in tow.
  13. Miria gave a nervous laugh at Mari's comment, "W-Well, I'm just being respe-" Suddenly there was another voice, Miria turned to see the woman. She was... very pretty, from the hair, to the- "Wow..." Miria's face was clear, she was in awe of her features, especially as she saw the massive tail in the back. "How cool," she said, half-quietly. "Ahh, I mean, greetings, Miss Cassandra. My name's Miria~" she greeted, meeting the woman's smile with her own. "Of course, we're more than happy to have you meet the boss. Just uh... Is that fine? I know Mari wanted us to come first cause we're human, but--" Miria cut herself off. It was best to Cassandra answer first.
  14. "Greetings, sir." Miria announced, standing next to Renais before giving a bow, "I'm Miria Luna, one of the Tigers' vanguards. It's an honor, Lord Kieran." She did her best to maintain her composure. She took a better look as she rose herself back up. He wasn't... quite what she had in mind as someone who was a big name in a community, though, she supposed they come in all sizes. She stuck close to Renais' side, making sure neither of them weren't going anywhere.
  15. What Markus hadn't expected upon immediately docking for repairs was yelling from one of the engineers. Apparently she was getting his guys in motion to patch up their machines. Simulated, at least. It was appreciated, Markus had to know he could count on the mechanics. Every part of a crew was like a part of the body, and everything needed to be efficient if constant success was the plan of action. Much like now, once the clear was made, Markus gave the team a salute, with a small smile, and 'launched' back into battle. Markus moves to 16,11 "Apologies, good to go, now." He gave his team, keeping composure as he returned to the fight.
  16. The cub kept next to Renais, she was gonna let Mari do the talking until she was addressed. What really surprised Miria was when they met Mari's friend(?), Nita, she immediately began bowing in respect of the two girls. "It is nice to meet you, Miss Nita." Though the honorifics may not have been needed, Miria gave a small bow in response to Nita's. Mari kept on, assuring the woman that they she didn't have to do anything extra like bowing for them, which Miria agreed with. She just saw it as her doing her job, and helping people as normal. She kept her happy smile, and waited for someone to address her, first; trying to maintain a more calm demeanor. She gave a small yelp when Renais took her hand and started going inside, "A-ah! Alright, okay, yes ma'am~" She spoke, keeping up with Renais. She gave Marigold a thumbs-up.
  17. Miria was happy to see Renais stepping up. With her bff at her side, Miria was basically unstoppable. She gave a soft little nudge, before Mari gave the okay, and started heading out. "Alright, let's do it~ We'll be back," the cub called back to the rest of the group, before following along, bouncing out of the wagon. In reality, Miria was very aware of how important it was for her to be helping Mari, and also just representing the Tigers in general. She took a deep breath, and matched Renais as they walked, "You okay, Renais?" She had to be sure, this was a big move her friend made.
  18. Miria waited patiently as they made their way across the frontier. Soon, they were finally in Islexia. While it was getting hotter, Miria appeared more in her element. She wasn't much a fan of the cold of Glacies, and as the days went by, she felt more and more comfy. She got up and stretched a bit. Marigold and Tio were discussing the plan, Miria has heard stories of Islexia before even the past couple weeks. She knew being here could lead to problems for a lot of the tigers. When Mari brought up volunteers to go with her, the cub raised her hand. "I volunteer." She gave a smile. "Leave it to me~"
  19. "Tch..." Thankfully nothing seemed to be aiming for Markus. He wanted to keep the fight going, but he knew he needed to fall back. "Gah..." He went into comms, "Retreating to the Dawn for repairs. I'll be back momentarily." Once he shut off conms, he sighed, "Don't have too much fun without me." Markus moves to 20,11, heads into the Dawn
  20. Miria listened intently, nodding as Celine gave her response, and the cub had no retort. Everything the woman said made sense, they're heading into a dangerous place, where it could make them an even bigger target. And she needs it for her people. "Of course, Miss Celine. Thank you for entertaining my request, and... apologies if I stepped too far out of line." She gave a few more details, revealing Nyx as some 'Envy Empress', a big figure formerly in the underground. Miria recalls the name from earlier, but... now she got most of the story. The girl looked over to Nyx, not sure what to think. Well, she was here, fighting perfectly fine with Clouded. She had changed... right? Then, the next part. Celine wanted to offer assistance, thus... "Jesse? She's coming with us?" Miria looked over, with a big smile. She turned back to Celine. "I'm... not the boss of the Tigers, but... I would agree to that. But, yeah..." Miria looked over to Tasha and Alvira, who were over at a table, just the two. She offered a smile.
  21. Miria's eyes widened, at the feeling. Like... it was gone. There was... there was no way the spirit had died, right? She let go of the sword and just... stared. "I-I... I didn't hear anything. It was like... the being gone." The cub was at a loss for words. There was so much that she didn't understand, or wanted to know, and wanted to do. "I'm sorry, uh..." Miria had to think, "I just, didn't expect that was what I was gonna get." It helped save our lives, right? "I just wanted to give it thanks, and... I guess I can't. Right now. And..." She shook her head, taking a deep breath. "I think, Miss Celine, you're right. Maybe some rest, and time to gather thoughts is, a good idea." The less-than-enthusiastic tone was clear in her voice. There was so much that needed to be discussed, and so much Miria needed to describe. After this, she was gonna be worn. And that time came all too soon. While she could've rested herself, she had to get her thoughts in order. She wasn't sure how much she retained, but she'd do her best, especially when... Miria already knew the answer. The girl stood up, and walked over with a deep breath. "Okay, so... some context first, since I think that would help, e-explain, I guess." She took another breath, trying to relax herself. "So, Galari used Escaflowne during the war with the Holy Lufirian Empire. It said something about like... Me and Lani, being chosen by Gaia, a Spirit of Earth." She scratched her head, "It also said... Galari promised she'd bring it to a place called the Boundary, and I, maybe haphazardly, offered to help it." She started to sweat, but she steeled herself. "I understand if you say no, but... is there any way for us to hold onto Escaflowne? It helped us, and... I'm willing to do almost whatever it takes for it." Her voice was firm, but she knew the reality of it. She maintained her composure
  22. "Thank you." Miria's demeanor lightened, giving a light bow, as she approached Diya and the blade. "Thank you, Miss Diya." She looked at the sword. On the surface, it looked... fine. Hopefully that meant the being inside was okay. Miria placed a hand on the blade and took a deep breath. Es? Are you still there? Are you okay? There was clear concern on the cub's face.
  23. "Yeah, I... was caught off guard too." Miria believed in the gods, but the thought one would be so malicious like Mercuria was so... off to the young cub. "I'm guessing, yeah, we did, but... I guess it was more Mikoto, the Evokers, and... well, the sword. I'm not sure I did I whole lot, but... all's well that ends well. For now!" She kept her smile despite looking around the room, seeing the Evokers downed, and even Tasha hiding herself at a table. "I'm guessing we could use some rest, though. A lot of us our down." She looked back over to Celine's group. She felt, it'd be too soon to try, but... "One sec Üllr, but you're free to come along." She walked over to the group sheepishly. "I'm sorry to bother you all, and Miss Diya, I apologize all that happened to you, but... I haven't heard the voice after all that. May I... check, to make sure Escaflowne is okay? If not, I... I understand." Miria gave a nod as she sheepishly asked what felt like too much at the moment.
  24. Miria heard loud and clear Mercuria's desperate attempt to achieve whatever goal she had planned, but it was met with deaf ears. Something Kisara, and Escaflowne had done, had defeated her, and everyone encircling Alvira and Laniva were thrown in multiple directions. Miria could've gone just like several others and been thrown across the room, but she was safely cushioned by Sari's hold. She gave a hefty sigh when things started to cooled down. She powered down, and had a warm smile hit her at Alvira's excitement. She didn't know what she did, or really a lot of the situation, but Alvira was happy, so, the cub would chalk that down as a win. She stood there, to herself, when suddenly approached by Üllr, who was curious of what had happened, "Oh, Üllr, umm..." She scratched her head, "I'm not sure how to explain it without sounding ridiculous but, a lot was just going on with... I guess a goddess? She tried using Alvira and Lani to, I assume, steal the Escaflowne, and somehow, we won? It seems like we did." She gave a small shrug. "I won't lie, a lot of it was actually new to me, it was all happening so quick and she made me really mad, so, good riddance." She gave a small laugh, trying to lighten the mood now that everything had settled.
