Just got the game and I'm pretty excited to play but I can't believe they actually put this ugly "amiibo card included!" straight onto the box art. It's hideous, why couldn't it have been a sticker like other companies do? Hoping this game is successful enough for a sequel so we can get more characters

Elise because she's on a horse which makes her instantly more useful. Elise also has better growth rates for a magic oriented unit while Sakura isn't even really a good unit at all.

Why is she so strong anyways? People always mention how Sakura has a higher strength than Rinka but Azura is even more ridiculous. Azura has twigs for arms but she has a higher strength growth rate than Ryoma and she's even on par with Xander. What does she do in her spare time to get so strong?

I'm worried that since Fire Emblem is going mainstream they might try to push more stories that are "easy to understand and everyone can enjoy." There are many things in FE14 that I enjoy but the story is definitely is one of the more prominent weaker sides. However, if focusing on story meant that IS would focus less on gameplay then by all means, forget the story. I will take good gameplay over a good story any day.

There some good designs and a fair number of dumb designs in this game but the two that really stand out for me are the deisgn of the mercenary class, it looks so down to earth and comfortable to wear, and Velour, I thought her whole little red riding hood and wolf motif was pretty clever

I doubt it. It's already discounted on there anyways. I guess you could try your luck with seeing if it drops in price after release but if the first print of Awakening is anything to go by, it'll reach a ridiculously high price. Or if you're really lucky they'll do a second, cheaper printing like Awakening in a few years but it won't have all the special bonuses. CDJapan is pretty good. They might take a while to ship and their shipping prices might be a little to high for my taste but they're reliable. (at least from my experiences) Please note that if you make a new account they'll give you 300 points (300 yen) which you can use right away on this OST. Also, if you spend more than 5000 yen, (the soundtrack is 6300) you get an additional 300 points after you order. Another thing to note, they give out 300 points on your birthday, so theoretically you could set your birthday to, say, tomorrow, and get an even larger discount. edit: just so you know, they charged me upfront for my preorder, I didn't even know they did this until yesterday

Finally but...it's so expensive :( My wallet isn't going to be alive anymore after this, the dlc, the artbook and whatever else they decide to sell

I should really get a nice shelf or something, 50% of my desk's surface area is covered by amiibos. At first it was just one or two, then they kept releasing more and I just kept putting them on my desk whenever I got a new one and now I have no room left :p

The game is finally starting to pick up but that opening tutorial section is so slow. I can't believe I used to think that portion was fun. Is anyone else just going to keep the wolf link amiibo boxed? I don't really care about the extra dungeon and I don't see the point in opening it just to have a tiny wolf link figure on my desk. I might have to reconsider though if the Zelda U functionality is good.

They're doing a bunch of story dlc episodes anyways so I can see this happening. Other than that I don't even know what I would want for dlc other than roy amiibo implementation

I just starting playing this today and wow, I remember this game being a lot better. I don't know why I bought it again. Well, I'm only an hour in so far so it'll get better once I get though the initial wolf part. The upgraded textures are nice though.
