So how do you do it?

Quick background: I only recently found out about this community. I went through it, and found some awesome splices and custom animations. I read up on custom animations (specifically, both of BwdYeti's tutorials. The second one said that custom animation requires a good amount of splicing skill. I wanted to splice in the first place, so I figured I'd ask my questions. Now, onto my problem: I have all the mugs from every GBA Era game downloaded. But how do I separate the mugs that I'm not using from the ones that I am using? I've read many turotials, but none of them cover this kind of thing. Should I download all the mugs seperately? What programs can be used for splicing? I have Paint (98 and current version) and Free GraphicsGale. Would one of these work? Another question: On a scale of one to ten, how much art skill does it take to splice? I have very little art skill, possibly a two. Thanks for any help anyone gives me on this topic. It's much appreciated!

Nohr's designs look pretty cool, especially the Revenant Knight, Dark Knight, Hero, Adventurer, Managram, and Sorcerer.

Proximity shot is an enemy-only skill that allows bow using units to be able to attack at 1 range, something bow users cannot do. Your avatar does not have the ability to get it (without hacks that will most likely come along down the line).

If I haven't already said it: Camilla 4 lyfe.

Vaida. Just.. Vaida. She has skin being shown on her legs and I don't see anyone complaining about her design being "impractical." She would be chafing and freezing just as much as Camilla. -_-

If I could, I'd vote Camilla for all the options.
