  1. Vincent's brought up that the beach map we've been seeing could be the Seabound shrine entrance from Gaiden/Echoes (the place where you fight the necrodragon right after Valbar, Kamui and Leon join you). I was wondering about that too, but ended up unconvinced because of how the boat in the north seems to actually be a part of the map, which isn't the case in the original. That being said, the absence of Celica's map by this point when we've seen most of them is definitely suspicious, so... maybe they've just altered it a little. The original was definitely quite basic. And as he said, the entrance of a shrine could be spotted in Leif's spotlight, so... yeah.
  2. I think that's the amount of achievements the player got in that category ? I'm wondering what the "Stroll" means in the country "investment" menu. Probably something daily we can send units on or something ? That's something you see a lot.
  3. That was with Alear initiating, since it's still the player phase after battle. Aymr is very likely a heavy weapon(at least Byleth's), though it's not known yet if it can double or not, unlike the others. ... I mean, she didn't double a General at 32 AS though, so... you know.
  4. I think that's because she'd be weighed down without Sigurd's buff to build. Meanwhile her Spd is at its regular value as a result and doesn't appear in blue. That's my theory anyway. Or maybe it's a glitchy remnant of the +Avo tile she started in. Edit: Yeah, it's visible here as well (large image):
  5. That was my first thought, but its damage is too high to be honest, plus there's no such thing in FE4 or FE5(also most magic bows are effective against fliers still). I guess it does sort of look like the FE5 brave bow, though remarkably big. Kind of a random pick. Yeah, the Sword is the Light Sword, his Prf in Thracia. It's recognizable and we even get the name. Random thought, but I kinda go back on what I said. The more I listen to it, the more I actually wish they didn't change one of the most hopeful map themes in the series in that way. For reference : It's still cool to hear it don't get me wrong. Actually, it encapsulates my feelings towards Emblem Leif pretty well... Also, the difference in damage between the axe, lance and bow is consistent in both showcases. This implies that both the bow and lance are pretty weak(because the killer axe is a good bit above them, yet it's not very strong to begin with), but we'll see.
  6. Yup, seems to be a mistake. Thank you. They do seem to generally keep stats accurate to the game of origin. I think that's a safe assumption. Alear likely doesn't have 14 Dex, or even less, in that clip. Steel Blade is Ridersbane +8 as shown in the Sigurd trailer at 00:32 and 00:35... so yeah, that checks out. Nice catch!
  7. It is kinda unfortunate because visually it's a cool concept. But, it's literally been undermined by DLC before it even got showcased. And yes, the damage seems low, but I think this might be in part because the Light Sword deals magic damage here? Interestingly, the bow used doesn't deal effective damage against fliers. We had the same idea ! To be honest I don't recognize them at all, though.
  8. She has what we've been led to think is a General skill, so chances are she's been reclassed down, hence the stats. We've seen a couple such examples, there's Hortensia as well, plus Vander as an Axe fighter
  9. We've posted the twitter posts three times guys, I think we're walking on each others' feet too much(^_^') I'll refrain from doing it from now on. To be honest I'm not entirely sure how useful breaking is for an all out single target attack that probably should kill. It's a weird concept.
  10. Modified, thank you! Honestly the main problem is that it's a pretty big undertaking for some of them, as the data is also based on character stats or several pieces of footage at once. But I can start working on it if nothing huge happens in the next few days. Also there's a contradicting instance for the Silver Bow, hence why I put a question mark; but it's fine without one too, Fogado has no buff after all, it should be reliable ... oh, right, Leif. Leif, Emblem of Genealogy : Equipment : Killer Axe, unknown lance Synchro Skill: Vital Shifting: Takes less damage when at weapon triangle advantage. Engage Skill: Adaptation: When attacked, automatically switches to a weapon with an advantageous weapon triangle matchup or range, if possible. Engage Attack: Tetra Trick: A combined attack using the Light Sword, unknown lance, Killer axe, and an unknown bow. ... also, we probably don't need that many "main" posts, kienquocsi, so feel free to add it all to yours. If given permission I'll do the same, at least until there's a link to yours in the very first one.
  11. They went with a really somber mix of Thracia's lategame map theme. Again, why not. Leif's sync skill, Vital Shifting, lowers damage taken when you have weapon advantage. Unclear if it is a static reduction(of 3), or a percentage. Leif's engage weapon is the Killer Axe. It's what you expect. Leif's engage skill is, Adaptation, automatically switches your weapon to a more advantageous one when you're attacked. It can even switch to a 1-2 range weapon if needed. His Engage attack, Tetra trick, attacks with sword, axe, lance and bow at once, easily breaking most enemies. Chain guard is a manoeuver that Qi gong characters can use at full HP. When activated, they can take the damage directed at allies around them for themselves. It is unclear if the damage cannot be higher than 20% of the Qi gong user's health for it to work, or if it will never deal more than that. - Diamant is presumably in his promoted class. - Rosado is a Sword Knight. - The Killer Axe presumably has 65 Hit and 30 Crit. - The Brionac has 1-2 range. It is presumably a stronger Spear. - Leif uses 3 "identifiable" weapons during Tetra trick; the Light Sword, his second engage weapon seen in the Celica trailer(a lance), and the Killer axe. The bow itself also seems unique, which leads us the the question; is one of those four weapons only present here, or does Leif get more than 3 Engage weapons? Pics:
  12. Alear has as much Bld as Céline though, that don't make no sense Funnily enough we already knew this, it was in Alear's twitter video. I genuinely forgot. Also the thing is ready. Made a spreadsheet, that's simpler. Disclaimer. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ic4UjGH84aCN9-TWKJpeVwbYy4QngGHPw8pueuHtQ9k/edit?usp=sharing Feel very free to correct me on anything in there. Seriously. As said earlier, a lot of this isn't final, but I tried to only include weapons we actually had some info about (with exceptions for the main Iron - Steel - Silver trios). A question mark means we have nothing / I'm not reasonably sure. There should be no wild guesses in there. If you want the reasoning for anything, ask away. Some of the weapon names aren't official at all, especially for body arts(which I'm slowly realizing may actually just be Arts and we may have jumped the gun because Iron-Body Art has Iron in the name) Sorry about Weight, I get that what's here is disappointing, but we really aren't given much to work with when it comes to it. It doesn't seem written down anywhere and thus, one needs the Bld stat of the character, which also isn't visible 90% of the time(and now we know that changes, too). We can guesswork a lot of the values, though.
  13. According to other footage, the Rapier does not give +1 Spd. So we're essentially seeing our main character weighed down by an Iron, which, yeah, I found weird as well. They do only have 4 Bld at base it seems. I'm mostly done compiling a weapons stat list. Really dislike how inconclusive most of it is, but that's to be expected really considering how the information itself is fragmented . I'll post it a bit later. ... because I just deleted 70% of my writeup by pusing Ctrl E and don't have time to restart right now
  14. You know... I don't know about high bonuses, actually. The fact does remain that we don't know for sure, though. That'd be funny! To be honest there's a pretty good chance we haven't, considering our resident earlygame axe people, Vander, Boucheron and Anna, get about as much spotlight as they have AS (and no royal is axe focused either). That being said, we've seen Lapis double with a Silver Axe.
  15. By the way, a couple more things were confirmed by the IGN/Gamespot footage(sorry if that's been brought up since): - Engage attacks without an explicit modifier, or at the very least Sigurd's, simply use your character's Atk. This is important because while Corrin's seems to replace your weapon by a Dragon Fang(with currently still mostly unknown stats), Sigurd's and Roy's can logically be strengthened considerably by heavy weaponry, in turn, giving that weapon type more of a purpose. - The doubling threshold isn't 4. Vander is shown unable to double a 2 AS knight, even though he has 6 AS. 5 AS to double is something only Awakening and Fates did, and I tend to look at it as a sign that stats grow high and fast. Which to be fair, we already had reason to believe. To be honest I've been thinking that was the case for about two months by now, but couldn't find explicit proof. I'll sleep a bit better tonight I guess
  16. I'd think so but we've seen other characters with this buff quite a few times; ... these being the two that come to mind. Byleth and Sigurd trailers respectively. And agreed, their Engage certainly seems to do a lot. Edit: With that being said... Neither Etie's nor Ivy's Atk is being buffed here. I guess that's not what it does then...? Then again, they're both using Magic weapons, so technically it could be Str rather than general Atk... After all, both the Siegmund and Sieglinde grant +5 Str in their game. "sigh" Research time I guess! It's at the very end of Byleth's video:
  17. Oh, they went with a medley here. Well, why not. Eirika's Rapier differs from Marth's in that it doesn't give +20 Avo, but has 10 Crit instead(unless you're willing to believe Lapis has 52/42 Dex here and the Rapier 55/75 Accuracy; mostly this is numerically coherent and consistent with Sacred Stones). They should have the same Mt, but we'll see. Both are effective against Cavalry and Armors as you'd expect. So that's where that twin lances skill came from this whole time. What it does isn't described here, but from what we've been seeing, it seems to have massive range, if not cover the whole map. It's worth noting that Lapis' Atk is buffed while Fogado's wasn't, and they both have Lv1 Bond with Eirika in this footage. So maybe it just does that, raise Atk. That'd be really good. I wish they were a bit clearer on the values of Eirika's Lunar brace skill, although I'm willing to guess it probably cuts through 30% of defenses too. Either way, these are two extremely strong effects for sync skills. Wonder how skill inheritance will work on those. Again we see Elfire with Marth's symbol. I believe we've only seen Elthunder with Sigurd's symbol thus far as well(and a flame lance with what we now know as Leif's symbol, but that was only once). They seem to be picking footage from one general playthrough most of the time though, so that doesn't necessarily mean anything. With Lucina's throwback map revealed and Corrin's confirmed, I think that only leaves Celica and Byleth to cover. And Marth, assuming the Ice Dragon Shrine isn't his. Wouldn't that be... weird though? Plus even though it triggers, Hortensia still only recovers 30% of her damage as health. The implication that Hortensia's skill is indeed Luna is interesting though, since we've basically been told these come from Emblems, and thus it could be greyed out because she's learned it from them, and as they said, you can't stack them? Maybe that's what you meant, but... yeah. Logically that'd be the form the Lunar and Solar braces take through skill inheritance, then... or it's just that second one. That's just kinda confusing really.
  18. Worth noting, considering this is Merrin we're talking about, Jean/Jan could be her wolf. Assuming the japanese/chinese doesn't specifically refer to a person...
  19. Oh yeah, that wasn't a complaint at all. I did think it was maybe a bit small, but since we have roaming outside of it to some extent, it'll probably be fine. Really I was just saying there was nothing new to talk about todayXD
  20. Yeah, Rosado's taken straight from the main site again, the Somniel pics are from the trailer, and... we can switch tracks in the cafeteria. We do get a minimap with icons, though I'm not seeing too much of interest. Somniel's layout definitely isn't a mystery the way the monastery's was, and we've seen the full map before anyway.
  21. SOMNIEL Mock battles : You can pick one of your units to fight a random member of your army, or one of your emblems. The former grants exp and can only be done a limited amount of times, while the latter grants bond levels with the selected emblem and can be attempted as many times as you want, but costs Bond Fragments.
  22. Actually... the stats we've seen today for Ivy were of her at level 17, same as the first time we saw Lyn in the emblems trailer. HP, Mag and Def match, and Skl, Res and Spd are buffed by Lyn... so... since we see her with Elfire in some trailers and the Killer Bow in the chinese one, we can guess the Killer Bow's hit as being 109 - (16*2) + (4/2) = 75. This (again, theoretically) means that barring anything else, Alcryst has to get a bonus accuracy that ends in 5 (since his Lck presumably gives an even bonus of 6, and Dex x2 will never be odd) to end up on an even result of 184. ... so yeah, 25 or 35 would be my guess. If the above is correct he needs 109 and most of his stats seem to be in the twenties, so, the latter mayhaps.
  23. Was about to comment on that. If this color coding is correct, then we're given a bit more insight as to what Alear's retainer's skills do(and vice versa), since Vander's is gray, Clanne teal, and Framme pink. Pretty sure Clanne has been shown to grant 10 accuracy early on. We'd also seen dark green before, Alcryst has that skill in Lyn's spotlight. His stats are so high however that it's pretty difficult to tell what it does. But out of all of them, his Accuracy and Crit Avo stick out as being too high and too low respectively. For reference : This is theoretical of course, but judging from his Avo, his Lck should be at 12 or 13, which suggests his crit avo is lowered by 10. Meanwhile his accuracy is at least 20 points above what one'd expect. Probably more.
