  1. Okay I have 3 questions which are all really the same question. 1) When it says that Kunai debuffs last a turn, does it mean your turn AND the opponent's? 2) When it says "Your strength is halved next attack" on Hakagure, does that mean next battle or even the next attack if you doubled? 3) When the weapon makes your stats reduced and they come back 1 every turn, it is only on your turn?
  2. I actually ran a giant Excel spreadsheet of all characters and what class has their ideal additional growth rates. PIeri's ideal class IS the Great Knight, Effie is weird, but basically General is much better for her.
  3. There is a heavy bias in this game to specialized units due to a couple reasons. 1) They have extra buffs just for being specialized. Things like +10 Avoid, +10 Crit matter a lot. 2) They get the best weapons in the game. S rank weapons are WAY stronger than A/B ranks, and having access to Brave weapons certainly doesn't hurt either. 3) Honestly, they have amazing distribution of stats compared to other classes. Berserker, Trueblade, Holy Lancer, Holy Bowman are honestly unfair with their stat distribution. Ninjas, Maids/Butlers, and Sorcerers have good stat distributions with very unique advantages. 4) All except Maids/Butlers and Sorcerer get their weapon's "faire" skill. This increases their damage even further than their stats and S rank weapons. Yes, the other classes could steal these, but why be another class when your original class can use this damage increase so much better? However, some units have stuff to match these advantages. Generals, Basara, War Priestess, and Mountain Priest just have straight stat advantage. Generals are unbreakable walls, Basara's can attack with any option competently, War Priestess can both heal and use Magic Bows to great effect, and War Priestess can heal and do lots of damage with even the B or lower rank Lances. Managamar and Nine Tails have high stats and can manipulate their stats to fit the current battle with great unique skills. On a final note. Most classes in this game aren't bad. It's just that some are exceptional, and a few are less good.
  4. I'm actually not sure the degree it got nerfed. From reading it strictly, it sounds like you have to kill someone ALONE for it to go off. If you use guard or attack stance, it seems as if it won't go off. This would be a huge nerf imo, as trying to beat others who are in Attack or Guard Stance with one unit is difficult.
  5. Seems to me someone made a mistake in coding where .5 gets rounded down, but anything above .5 is rounded up.
  6. Hello everyone again, Does anyone know if Nosferatu drains HP 1:1 or 2:1 like in Awakening? Please and thank you for responses.
  7. For people wondering if Mozume is worth it, here is a good answer. Mozume is the only character in the game with the Villager class(with Bowman). Unlike the previous game, the villager is allowed access to two promotion classes(Weapon Master and Great Merchant) with very powerful skills. These two skills are Line of Death and Extravagance. When combined, for one gold coin, you can do an extra 20 damage per strike in one battle. When you combine this effect with Holy Bowman who uses the S rank Bow, Mozume OHKO almost everything in the game or even in PvP. Not only that, but whoever is married to her has access to Villager and their child does too.
  8. Depends on your unit. Some units would love Renewal/Life Taker(Generals, Shura, GK, other heavy defense tanks), but not as bulky units that do damage would prefer Sol and Nosferatu(Sorcerer's, Holy Lancer).
  9. You are in fact correct. Horse God, Nosferatu, the brave spell, and Excalibur make up 4 excellent spells. Horse God is used when attacking people in their blind spot at full health, Nosferatu is when you can't double and you need solid health swings, the Brave Spell is a good finisher, and Excalibur is for when you are a bit faster or need to kill flying units. Sadly, only Sorcerers( and maybe Dark Knights) have accesss to Nosferatu and Excalibur for Sorcerers, but Horse God is definitely a good spell for any Tome class.
  10. Hello everyone, i was just wondering how Weapon Bonuses work? I figure A-C rank probably functions like in Awakening, but do S ranks have an even bigger bonus than A ranks? ie Swords get +4 damage for S rank.
  11. I have a huge calculation table on optimal leveling and in game stats. I'll show the information that is relevant to you. http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o659/psyruby42/Hoshido%20Statistics_zpsqvs2ypqa.png http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o659/psyruby42/Nohr%20Statistics_zpsh6xwrt3v.png http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o659/psyruby42/Shared%20Statistics_zpswvgaroid.png Now to explain the not simple parts. This is an analysis of stats at level 60(20 base class levels, 40 promoted class levels) based solely on their character growth. This means that promotion bonus and class growth is not included. I let them all have 4 eternal seals in the calculations cause 20/20 was not going to happen ever. The symbols on the side denote ideal classes when leveling up based off class growth. I also denoted characters that start off in their best class for growths with an asterisks and characters who don't need a parallel seal with double asterisks. EX: Sakura says "P-> WP **" means she should be a Priestess class for base and a War Priestess for promoted, and the asterisks mean she is in her original base class, and she doesn't need a parallel seal to get to War Priestess.
