Ah, I see. Yeah, I know. I actually had it happen once, I believe, and I was in the hospital. When I was 5, I caught a bad stomach disease that left me in a hospital bed with an IV in my arm until I could recover. And my mom and I think it happened because of something I ate. We were on a trip at the time. My mom also got real sick from bad meat once. So I definitely know what you mean.

Yeah, I ended up writing up a heavily altered story from Chapter 14 and onwards in my Conquest LP, and our forum's resident Prussian/Czech historian reckons the story alteration in my LP is better than the vanilla version (Cue the tweet: So sad!). And I'm not even an experienced fanfic writer!

Heh, nice. I also don't like that Fates shoved in children. This also really hurt the game and story. They could've focused more on the story instead of shoehorning in kids where they don't belong. I'm glad there were a lot of complaints about this, because it should mean that IS won't do that again and only do children if they would fit in the story.

Well yeah, anything in the series has more world-building and back story than Fates and Awakening. I feel like IS sacrificed story quality for fanservice because of crap like Camilla and Tharja. I won't play FE anymore if this continues. I played it for the strategy, story, and characters, not fanservice shoved in my face (mainly referring to that awful Camilla cutscene in Fates Birthright).
