Its similar to fire emblem but without everything I like about it. The characters, medieval setting, supports, cool animations, and individuality of characters doesn't exist. I don't really play fire emblem for the hardcore tactics. I play it because it offers different play styles and strategies for doing 1 thing. What I mean is that you can approach a chapter in many ways. When I played advanced wars I could only ever beat levels by looking up guides. (+ I'm not amazing at tactics in general and dislike the combat system in advanced wars. I think its way to confusing for its own good.)

I mean, I understand why people would like it, but as a person who dislikes Advanced wars (a lot), I definitely wouldn't want this.

Yes, but then again, (at least in my opinion) Breath of The Wild didn't feel like a Zelda game.

Name: Theold "The Snake"

A young former thief who thinks he's the most famous assassin around. Has only done two jobs: Poisoning a noble, and tracking down and Poisoning the leader of a minor group of thieves. Very Naive, confident, and kind of a wuss.

And here we have a prime example of a useless alt who can be replaced. Geez IS, its going to be 2090 before you get every character in the game.

Even so, I understand why war and death frighten others, so your madness ends here!" Galen: "Hmph. Gods like you don't scare me! (Please don't hurt me too hard!)" If you don't understand the last one, it's because he acts like the typical edgy myrmidon around everyone except his liege (Marius) and his best friend (Urijah), when really, he's a humongous wimp who uses his looks to intimidate people in order to keep them from attacking Marius.

The problem with Deen isn't him, but the fact that the developers seem to think that its OK to completely make his backstory Japanese exclusive. Seriously, the only way to learn his backstory is by reading the Valentia Accordion, which is only in Japanese.(which isn't even part of the game, its an optional artbook) He is completely undermined by Sonya as she seems to be the only one of the two to have a backstory. His character suffers from this, as he comes across as "Just another Edgy Guy"

Are there any specific techniques/ programs you use to make the fire emblem sprites? These are hella nice

In Echoes, I really really really REALLY loved how every unit got their own victory animations. As stated before, echoes archers were great, they just needed a bit higher hit rates. Really anything in the series that differentiates units. Stuff like personal skills and having their own special palette/battle sprite. I just love that stuff.

Am I the only person who likes these? Yes? Okay...
