  1. First 5 starting in 2003 from Symphonia onward? Or starting from 1995 with Phantasia up to Symphonia? Cause I never heard of the first few ever getting ported over. For me, I've only played from 2003 onward minus like 2 of them. I'm so freaking excited for Tales of Arise.

I know some very basic Japanese, which helps a little, but not much, and very rarely does it ever if I'm being honest. And I do have a discord account, Rose 🌹#0564. Feel free to add me there if you want. And yeah, the feels in some of these games can get too much...like I don't want to spoil it for you, but the scar on my heart caused by Destiny 2 will never heal. And it's been over two years since I finished that game, but it still hurts.

Mute MCs....a choice that many games should have went with, but oh well. Yeah I think Dragon age did it pretty well, I hope Dragon Age 4 comes out one of these days....And Robin is my favorite avatar as well! I was so attached to them and their story. It's really tragic when you think about it. Robin x Chrom is also one pretty cute pairing if I must say so...

Colette being selfless is sorta one of her character traits, it's what makes her who she is. I sorta understand  why she is like that though. She was  taught since the day she was born got raised into being the person who would take on the role of a sacrifice basically. So to me, it makes sense she ended up being someone who's very selfless as she wasn't really taught to....care about her well being above others I guess? And yeah I wish she opened up to Lloyd more, but I also feel like she just didn't want to make hurt him as she would have needed to die in the end of their adventure. I feel like I can see both sides to this situation really, but yeah I wish she was more open about how she felt.

I haven't, but I do know there is an anime for Tales of Abyss, and one for Symphonia, right?  Really the only anime I actively watch is Detective Conan : P

I look forward to hearing about Destiny 2. As I've said, I've have to track down consoles and games to import so the chance of me playing the retro titles are pretty low. Isn't the Destiny series with Stahn and Rutee? Or is that the one with Garr and Leon? Reid? I don't know them outside the spin off they showed up in on Radiant Mythology. In some of the later games like Zesteria they have mini-games where you can show off your trivia knowledge from the past titles. I can't beat those when they ask questions from before 2002.

There is confirmed source stating a DA4 is coming out?!?! I agree about liking the F-Robin x Chrome pairing. I dislike the default Sumia since I tend to not be fond of units with low Str since they frustrated me not being able to pull their weight. So many battles could have been wom easier if she just had like the same Str as Cherche or heck, even Cordelia had decent str. I totally forgot Colette was raised like that for years. It's a glad she decided to live after that one scene where Presea saved her on the floating dragon nest. Coupled with the scene where she regained her humanity and it was pretty satisfying seeing her want to help out Tethe'alla.

Yes. And both of those animes are totally worth watching to get you pumped before the games. Thinking of it like an extension of the game when it animated it's most climatic scenes. Really brings them to life. I wish they made animes out of Tales of Grace and Xillia. I'd love to see who they pick at the VAs for them.

Destiny 2 was a game I didn't really know what to expect from, but ended up loving very much. Also in my opinion, it was the first game that truly started trying to change the game play elements in a major way. And I believe it was also the first game in which it had skits in it. Destiny 1 had Stahn and Rutee (who make a lovely couple by the way, love their dynamic) While Destiny 2 is more about their son, Kyle. And a girl called Reala.

Kyle was such a well written male lead, and Reala made a great female lead herself. I think those two characters really played a huge part in making me love Destiny 2 so much. It was also a very romantic game, which I liked. They really focused on the romance part in this game, which of course only crushed my heart even more for reasons I'm not sure I want to get into becasue I really don't want to spoil this to you in hopes one day it will get translated to English V_V

I would say the only game that I've played so far and didn't like was Eternia.

Well, I haven't been keeping up with the latest news when it comes to Dragon Age, but I assume another game will come out at some point? I do remember seeing few things here and there on YouTube about a new game being in the making or something, but haven't looked too much into it myself. And haha...I forgot Sumia was a thing if I'm being honest : P I feel like a lot of people in the fandom forgot about her? Or at least, no one seems to talk about her anymore. But yeah, I'm not big fan of that pairing. I think Chrom is most cute with Robin or Maribelle.

As for Colette, I'm not sure if it was in the sequel or the original game, but I remember her saying something along the lines of "No one should be raised with the goal of giving up on their life" or at least something like that, which to me was some very well earned character development. Her going from wanting to sacrifice herself to wanting to live was a nice touch for her character. I know she's not a very complex character in comparison to some other characters in this series, but I still love her so much. I think she's my favorite female lead in this series so far actually. Although I'm a big fan Claire (the female lead from Rebirth) But Colette is better written I think.

I might give them a watch if possible then ^_^ Yeah I wish they made more animes for more games, but I guess that would be easier said than done....Hopefully Tales of Arise gets an anime in the future : P

  2. Which one are you on? And which ones have you played so far? 😄
  3. I'm so glad I'm not alone. I'd hug you in person if I met you. (If it didn't turn out terribly awkward and silent afterwards) I recently started liking these games. It's like a picture book with great music. And they have so many kinds of stories. Slice of life ones, comedy, romance, and etc. But of course occasionally you stumble upon works that the creators intent was to scar you for life and make you question love's existence (White Album 2, School Days, Myself; Yourself, and a few others). I need steam and other sources to properly tag their games 😞 I'm also shocked at sheer amount of how many games exist in one genre but not the other. Like holy poop the ratio of vanilla/smut to NTR/cheating is staggering. Supply and Demand 101 economics tell me that basically this stuff is super popular. It leaves my mind numb. We live in a dark world. Where those games are massively produced and bought more than romcoms. Like one search result for NTR on this one site had over 22 pages while "childhood friend" had 2 pages. Each page had like 20 results. That's like about 440 compared to 40. Again, I'm so glad I'm not alone. Hell I think even the Tales serie is better than the FF (example Tales of Symphonia, Tales of Legendia, Tale of Xillia, etc) I agree. Although if I could be greedy I'd want both. Like every other 2 games with spilt perspectives release one with a evil dragon bad guy. That way we can take a break from the arc-ing paths. It'd too be stressful to face characters I like and have to hurt them. I was surprised at how much it made me feel sad to kill Ryoma in Fates and to see Elise die. I just couldn't stop crying when Elise died. That kinda fucked me up inside a little. Knowing her destiny I made sure to pamper her alot in my other subsequent runs and made sure she wasn't even hit by the enemies. For some reason I was a little more resilient to kill people in 3 Houses so it didn't make me feel bad but I don't want to gamble on that for the next FE. Enough digressing. My unpopular FE opinion is the mounted units are awful. I don't mean utility wise as far as if they get the job done or do it better. But like the idea of mounted combat itself is so broken. I went to RenFaire and got a chance to joust. That's horseback riding with spear polearm. It is beyond difficult to control and fight effectively like that. I'd rather dismount and swing it on the ground. I couldn't even begin to imagine how hard it it must be to swing using a flying mount in the fantasy world. If I'm not mistaken swinging isn't even an option. You should be limited to thrusts. What if you accidentally hit the wing of your mount? Not to mention those little acrobatic flips for criticals and how they spin. I'm done.
  4. Don't get me wrong, I like this if the intended canon character was female Byleth instead of male. I'm cool with bromance but for all intents and purposes from a literature point of view most stories are written in a way where a female is the one who heals a broken male and from that love fosters. Now before we go down the direction or conversation of what role Byleth played and how that impacted Dimitri's character development the one thing I did want to point out that always bugged me was this --Dimitri is a Gary Stu to the MAX. Like now matter what is said, the universe clearly stacked the chips in his favor. This main point is why I refuse to acknowledge him and give him my vote as most popular and would rather go Claude or Edelgard as to who is my favorite. I could count at least 5 instances in which Dimitri should have either lost or failed and yet he still powered thru. I felt like he was pampered and didn't really win. Not too long ago in the Three Houses sub section I created a thread discussing teleporting or warping as a broken plot device used by story tellers/creators as being a cheap method to advance the plot and make it so certain characters can't be beaten or sparing certain people for plot related reasons. I mentioned how it is always rigged so villains can do it but never the good guys and how the good never include in their plans a way to stop enemies from teleporting away despite them having knowledge of it happening at crucial times enough to warrant it getting attention. Suffice to say I know all three Lords benefit from this but I feel Dimitri was just broken from a literature point of view in how he gets carried thru the story. That's my 2 cents. @Hilda don't worry, you aren't the only one confused by his popularity. If you aren't confused about it and get it, then I take it you are upset by his ranking in the polls?
  5. That was just my started. I never felt it was like I was "grinding" or "farming". I just added mons to my team, beat the ones roaming outside the grass, once the mons evolved and I got their Pokedex entry I chunked them into the PC and pulled out more mons. I did this pretty often. Here was my team Lv. 71 Cinderace Lv. 65 Corviknight Lv. 62 Dusknoir (I just caught him near the bridge at 60) Lv. 65 Kommo-mo (I caught at level 60 and leveled up a bit) And lastly Lv. 68 Gardevoir that was pretty high level that I caught walking at Lake of Rage This team wasn't for the battle tower so i didn't bother to to get them with 31 IVs except my bird since it was a brilliant Pokemon. Maybe you just need to make sure you level up the smart way. I mean do you grind Magikarp kills for exp? That could take forever and would be boring. I fought alot of the mons outside the grass by making sure my lead was someone who had a type advantage. That was what helped me gain levels. Plus those raid battles give out exp helped a bunch too. I thought they made leveling easy this go around since you can't turn off exp share. Another tip would be to take an electric Pokemon to a rainy spot in the wild area and grind exp with one hit KOs since mainly water Pokemon spawn. Knowing which mons spawn as a result of what weather and then bring out what hurts them can help speed up exp gains by one shoting the enemies every battle. If that is too much than just go catch new mons. With all your badges you can catch the level 60s walking around. There are plenty of them. The Dusty Bowl and Lake or Rage has decent choices. You got the Eevee-loutions and either a Gyardos or Lapras in lake of Rage past level 50 roaming around and in Dusty Bowl a good Dragon walking next to the pond or the Hawk/Vulture bird flying around 54. Not too far is a Machamp at lv60 in Giant's Mirror or a few Corviknights at 50/60 at various points.
  6. I had my highest level at 71 with everyone else lagging behind around 62. I'll admit I used some of my team to just just survive one or two attacks and inflict status conditions and I also used moves that harshly lowered their attack. But I only had a team of 5 and I still managed to clear it. Did you have a mon to counter each of his types? Make sure you have somebody that can take 1/2 or 1/4 damage from his Charizard with protect taught to them to be able to withstand his dynamax form. Plus a rapid spin to free from his fire spin effect or at least someone who can rain dance to lower that fire power. Other than that I dunno what other tips to offer. Whose on your team and what hold items/abilities did you have going for you?
  7. At this point, i don't think i should be responding to you of all people since it is clear you like to make no point what so ever and furthermore when you begin to lose the debate you switch to coming up with random accusations. But since this is a serious discussion thread and i want to give you the benefit of doubt (like it was extended to me previously) plus think that maybe you've grown and mature i'll go ahead and respond. Maybe now you are ready to debate for real. Africa being a continent with multiple countries plus being more diverse culturally and politically doesn't change that fact that we are discussing laws in regards to how it would affect prison population. The paragraph below where i made that point draws and show the emphasis is on the fact what can be done or is being done some where else, can't be done in our country or shouldn't be. As a result, because our country has different beliefs and practices in cultures, our laws of course would reflect what we find not acceptable and would merit being seen as criminal activity. Thus that would impact our prison population. Moving on to my next point. Regardless if each country on that continent has little in common, as you've stated, the fact that more than half the map reflects that those countries participate in that cultural practice says otherwise in addition doesn't change the fact the numbers still exist. I didn't "imply" anything at all. I specifically said more than half of Africa perform that surgery. So you are incorrect in accusing me of saying that i imply it happens ALL across of Africa. Next point, is more of a question and not me making a counter-point. What do you mean i misrepresent female genital mutilation? Also if you want to know why i picked to use that as an example, it was cause i just saw a news article talking about how a woman escaped from her country to come to America and that that practice happens over there. So it was pure coincidence. Also how did you infer or deduce that "all Africans are the same"? We are talking about laws, cultures, ethics, and what impacts prison populations. Edit: Okay. I won't continue discussing the prison population. I was mid-typing when your post showed up.
  8. Okay. Eclipse's and mine main arguing point was not to use inflammatory speech. I myself said that I agree it needs to be revamped and improved. The problems you point out are valid and I'm not refuting them but I do make the point that you shouldn't start calling our system a torture camp. It isn't that bad. If this were an academic debate (which it is I'm hoping) this point gets refuted on the grounds that you don't get to cherry pick which countries to compare us too. There exist countries with more brutal conditions and harsh sentencing than ours. My point that ours shouldn't be labeled either a torture camps and/or is the worst one in the world remains. Let's see how to respond to this part. I hope we are still on the same page that I said I do think our system needs to be improved but it shouldn't be called to a torture camp. That's an accusation going too far. The way I read the post and responded was based off the premises that the phrase "highest incarceration rate" is ambiguous if the purpose and intents it to be comparing which country is doing better or worse. Which is why I asked what other countries were doing. I didn't imply others were putting more in or less. I asked what if the numbers were higher or lower based off a % of the population. Since we established that our country is putting about 1% of it's able population in jail/prison what i was asking for was a comparison to other countries. After all you said that 1% only means or becomes something when it becomes relative to something else. So an answer I was looking for to be better able to grasp if we were doing better or worse would be like for example, China only puts 0.65% away in jail/prison out of their able population that can be sentenced. Then the statement would become better to understand and we could objectively say we are doing worse. But say for example that out of the total able population that can be locked up, more than 1.1% in India is actually sitting in a cell. Then that we mean that our country doesn't have the "highest incarceration rates". I used those countries and numbers as examples to better clear up the point that was being made. Those aren't actual real statistics. The part where I disagree here lies in the fact that comparing our countries prison system starts to bleed into philosophy if you really want to look at it and in addition to philosophy, that'd mean we are establishing universal laws or standards that everyone should be following BUT that isn't the case. Our country is different as is our culture and as well as our standards that we hold ourselves too. For example, in our country we have our legal age limit set to 18. A quick Google search shows that other countries have lower limits (more than half the world) and some countries don't even have a limit at all. So if we have people sitting in jail/prison for sex with a minor you could begin to subtract that number or adjust based off what the standard would in the other targeted country we are comparing ourselves too. Our prison population would start to sink. Another example is that in our country it would be completely illegal to perform a female circumcision surgery but in more than half of Africa culturally, they perform that to discourage women from premarital sex. This info i saw in a news article that happened to be condemning the practice so I don't know if it is updated since it was a few years ago. The point I'm trying to make with the two above paragraphs is that our laws reflect our views, our standards, and so much more. For all we know we could have more laws or less laws than one other country. So if someone breaks a law here and as a result ends up incarcerated, of course our numbers will reflect that. Conversely, in other countries they might not have strict enough laws, or as many laws, or practices that they engage in that we would call illegal over here. All in all, this isn't a competition. Please don't make it one. Furthermore, I previously stated our system needs to be improved and revamped but it shouldn't be called a torture camp. If you want to continue debating this, than know it has become a philosophical conversation. I'm not in disagreement with the fact our system is broken. But it isn't the worse and it isn't a literal actual torture camp.
  9. Logic? I have no idea how this conversation started going in this direction. This isn't a competition with other countries. So don't make it one. We aren't trying to be better or worse than other parts of the world. All we were discussing was the flamming rhetoric using by another poster. They are prisons, not torture camps. They aren't that bad as some make them out to be. This wasn't part of the original list of things being exaggerated (regarding repeat offenders). So I don't know how this came up. If you wanted to add it to list stating why the prison system is bad and needs to be revamped then nobody is going to argue against it. But again, we shouldn't use inflammatory speech comparing our prison system to torture camps. If you think what happens here is bad, then I suggest you visit prisons in other countries. Then maybe you'll come back and say getting thru our system is a walk in the park with butterflies and rainbows. Go commit a crime in another country. I'd like to see you still say our stuff is bad. I've heard horror stories or what goes on in other countries. We are pretty mild in how we treat our prisoners. But again this isn't a competition. There just isn't a need to compare our stuff to torture camps. I said I'm in favor of revamping. 3rd time now by the way. I don't condone how it is but it is harmful to go around comparing it to torture camps. It isn't one so it shouldn't be called one. My numbers? They aren't mine. They were sources from Lew and eclipse. 1% is still 1% so nothing changes with my previous statement. That number objectively speaking is small. You didn't provide sources about what the % of incarcerations of total population is in other countries but said we have the highest. So other countries also have less than 1% of their able population in prison/jail? Or is it higher? If it is higher, doesn't that mean looking at the math, our society is still better collectively since our citizens can follow the laws? But then speaking objectively are the laws in other countries up to a standard we'd consider fair or ethical? This isn't a competition. Don't make it one. I'd like to point out again, how we treat our prisoners is in no way comparable to torture camps. Maybe another country could qualify for that title with what they do, but not ours. Besides earlier those numbers had some data mixed in that skewers the perception. How is what one prisoner does to another reflective of our countries prison system's morale compass? Because we couldn't prevent such horrendous acts our system is broken? That happens in other parts of the world so why is our system getting singled out and being called a torture camp? It needs to be revamped (4th time I said I'm in support of improving conditions) yes but it isn't objectively that bad. You think the prison systems in other countries are flawless? You think they perfected reforming and rehabilitating their people who break the law? You think some people don't make money in other countries off their prisons too? Why are you singling us out and in favor of calling ours a torture camp? Understand the points being made and make this conversation productive. We weren't competing with others. It just was stated that it is unacceptable to call our system torture camps since that type of speech is not beneificial and only scares people plus points fingers at group of people. That doesn't help or improve anything if all you wanna do is play the blame game. Let the media and politicians talk like that.
  10. You can't help somebody who doesn't want help or thinks they need help. You sound like you have good intentions so I applaud you for that. I really do. But maybe it isn't a problem? You didn't mention whether this person asked for help, tried to get help, or expressed not wanting things to remain this way. I have a friend who in my opinion has a problem, but yet life carries on for him and he doesn't want to improve the areas I think are critical. It's been over 15 years and he is married and has a pretty low-key comfortable life. Not one I would be living but none the less a comfortable one. He has his hobbies to keep him occupied. The point I'm trying to make with this is, maybe your friend has skin made of steel. Some people who get bullied just let that shit roll off them like it doesn't matter and move on. If they found something in life that they cling to and helps them get thru the day, maybe you don't actually have to help. I mean, worst case scenario, you could make the situation worse or anger some people and the last thing we want is for it to get worse. Have you sat and talked with this person and know they want help? You could bounce ideas off each other. Again, I think you have good intentions so that's great. But there is a possibility of you helping making the situation worse or it being unwanted help. I know from experience that I once overstepped my bounds and lost a friend long ago as a result. Had I not intervened, maybe we'd still be friends today. In my head, the situation was worse than the reality of it and so I felt compelled to "help". You are a good friend and I hope your friend's situation improves if nothing else comes out of this advice.
  11. 69,800 + 36,100 + 65,700 = 171,600. Let's stop and ponder that possibly not all of these allegations included penetration. Being forced to give another person a hand job would allow a lawyer to claim sexual assault since we are using legal jargon. So for all these claims of sexual assault it could have been a hand/blow job and they'd throw that in the statistic of rape since it counts as a form under that ambiguous claim. 171,600 out of Houston's estimated population sitting at 3,000,000 means that would be roughly 17.4%. Objectively speaking that is a small percentage and to think if we were to extrapolate that to the country's population of over 300,000,000 (300 million) that turn into .0006% rounded. Also based off eclipse's source stating 1,610,446 were prisoners during the year 2008, that's only 1/3 of the 4th largest city in our country as a number of people incarcerated. If we were to compare that to the country's population that'd be 0.005%. in other words, less than 1% of the entire country's population. Objectively speaking, having less than 1% of your country's population go to jail/prison should be seen as a good thing. This is all addressing the claims of the rampant danger of being sexually assaulted. To move on to your other claims such as of the guards beating people. Shob only told us one story and I clicked on some of those links so we don't have viable data or %s to back up how often this is. For all we know it could happen once a month in one state. Maybe it happens to one prisoner out of every 100,000. It's plain to see you dislike the prison system but that doesn't mean it is so broken we need to take drastic measures asap. One of those links you put mentioned Alabama's understaffed problems but that in itself plagues every state. Guards are worked 16 hour shifts according to that source so imagine the stress they accumulate. They are people too and after having to deal with someone for 16 hours day after day, it isn't unthinkable they'd vent or do something stupid that is on the unethical side. One phenomenon that afflicts people in the prison/police/medical field quite heavily is compassion fatigue. Over time people lose their ability to be empathetic or sympathetic especially when being exposed to harsh conditions for prolonged periods. Ive seen some nurses treat patients pretty shitty just so they could get back on their phones and ignore their care. I know we aren't talking about nurses but I want to emphasize compassion fatigue. It's real and it has super adverse effects on individuals who are put positions were they need to look after others. I won't say bad behavior is excusable but we have many issues we have to tackle effectively after researching it instead of pointing fingers at a group of people. The prison system needs revamping. It has a purpose. But it isn't some torture camp.
  12. I just beat Leon and poofed into my house. I got Eternatus but not that sword one. Is he back in the woods? If you give me a little time to go catch him, I can do the trade. Also I'd appreciate an egg of Mimikyu and a Cleffa. I can't believe they made that weather condition so rare. They must not want people to catch fairy and psychic types cause that is who mainly spawns in that weather.
  13. I'll send you my friend code in a PM once I get off work. I appreciate it Same to you. I'll send friend code in a PM later. I'll be free to trade pretty much all Saturday and Sunday. Have any of you two gotten a Clefairy of Mimikyu? I know those two aren't version exclusive but for the life of me I haven't seen the Heavy Fog weather condition in the Wild area and I check DAILY. For like the last last two weeks. The only area that got that weather was Lake of Rage. If y'all two need any Sword exclusives just let me know. I got almost all of mine but still waiting for sunny day to get Turtornator. He is my last version exclusive that I missing. I'm at 359/400 Dex. The rest of my Dex is evovles
  14. I can help you with that monkey (that has the soccer ball). I have a spare. Could you help me with a shield exclusive? Here are some shield exclusives I need: Drampa, Goomy, Solosis, or Sprtizee (holding Satchet). Even if you can do just one of these, I'll give you my spare monkey
  15. I get that speed determines who goes first and affects moves like Gyro Ball and Volt Tackle but do battles end that quickly usually that all you need is to go first and land one hit?
  16. What are you talking about? It saw more use than Mega Rayquaza? How or why is he broken? What set up do they have that Zacian doesn't? How broken is it? Can you give examples? What happens after the rain is set up? I want to apologize to everyone that I'm asking so many questions. I'm new-ish to competitive battling. I learned about IVs and stuff about a Pokemon's best assets but I haven't sat down and learned any strategies or tactics or how people set the pace for battles. I'd like to take this chance to learn
  17. To get Inkay to evolve at lv30 into Malmar hold the Switch upside down undocked (not on a TV) while also not using a pro controller. The switch itself doesn't have the gyroscope inside it, the joycons do so I'm unsure if you can just prop up your switch while holding the joy cons upside down but it definitely won't work with the pro controller. So make sure the pro is turned off. Yamask who now has a Galar form has a special requirement too. (The non-galar form can be obtained from a trade with an NPC just like Kanto Meowth). In order to evolve it, have it take 50 or more damage in a single battle and then walk under the arch way in the Dusty Bowl wild area and the cutscenes for it to evolve will trigger automatically. It is the large archway. Regarding specific details, weather damage doesn't count toward the 50. I'm unsure if you have to battle in the Dusty Bowl or if you could battle somewhere else and then fly there. Time of day is not relevant. Also Yamask has to survive the battle so having it get fainted and then reviving outside of battle then walking over won't work. Just for reference I'll mention how I got mine to evolve. I had just caught him so he was under leveled compared to the wild Pokemon in that grass. I bump into a Growlithe with him as the lead and he took a crunch/bite that dropped his HP from the 70s down to 1 (I let him hold the focus sash). I switched out and beat the wild one with another team member the after the battle walked under the arch way and the cutscenes triggered. Milcery into Alcremie has over 63 variations. If you want all of them it is gonna take some mad grinding. Here is how to get that ball rolling. First you need the 7 different hold item choices. You get to battle a cafe daily in both Motostoke and Hammerlocke cities. There is a chance you'll be rewarded one of those items. The hold item is a heart, a clover, a star, a flower, a ribbon, a blue berry, and strawberry. All of them have the word sweet in the name. Rotating your joystick for a few seconds will trigger a little animation where you character strikes a pose. This is the key to evolving. So now get your Milcery holding one of those 7 items at any level and spin. If you rotate your stick just enough to trigger the animation and stop there you'll get first set of variations. If you rotate the stick and continue to spin for 5 or more seconds you'll get the 2nd set of variations. Keep in mind your character has to actually being in that one ballet position while spinning and that is when the timer starts. 7 items using these combos will get you a different color scheme while spinning in a certain direction Clockwise during the day x7 Clockwise 5+sec during day x7 Clockwise during night x7 Clockwise 5+sec during night x7 Counterclockwise during day x7 Counterclockwise 5+sec during day x7 Counterclockwise during night x7 Counterclockwise 5+sec during night x7 Counterclockwise 10+sec during DUSK x7 (dusk in-game is when the background is orange-ish sun setting color) That is pretty much the more difficult Pokemon. Eevee got easier since you can use a leaf or ice stone to get those eveelutions now.
  18. Lol. I had to respond to this cause it is so precious. I mean, you don't even know me yet you can claim I'm racist? Against which race? First of all, do you even know what my own race is? This is hilarious. What are you? 14 years old? So when you can't formulate an educated argument you throw around random cards and claim your opponent is some sort of bigot? Get lost key board warrior. I'm staying right here and I'm going to continue to have productive conversations with the real mature adults in this thread. I actually want to grow and learn unlike you. You seem to make light of our country and its problems. Now where was I? I won't deny this fact. It is a blight in our country's record. If I was a judge, I'd be making good use of the Death Penalty here in Texas to bring these scum to justice. Child molesters deserve the harshest punishments. Restoring our reputation isn't going to be easy but it can be done and will be. We just have to be patient untill we remove our current leader, and pick someone better. If the world can just be patient with us till we fix the mess we are in. I've heard a few leaders from other countries mention they don't want to do business with us until after President Trump leaves offices. This is bad news but also good news when you read into it. Basically what they are saying is, they'll come back to the table later. I'm sure we'll have to make alot of concessions and make amends to show our good will, but it isn't all hopeless. We still have some of our more important and strongest allies on our side. If we can get more people to support Buttigieg or Gabbard then maybe we'll have a chance of making progress. The DNC needs to see that they aren't going to win with leaning extremely to the left. Moderate people don't want that. Speaking of which, I recently saw ads on Facebook. Yang's ads. It is shocking considering that we just heard President Trump had a dinner with Facebook's CEO Zuckerberg. I'm shocked his ads were the first to start popping up. And so early too. He must have paid a fortune to get that ad on there. I didn't think he was serious but if he paying for ads on Facebook, he must seriously be polling pretty good. I mean I haven't even seen a Biden, Warren, Harris, or Bernie ad on Facebook yet.
  19. Why bother posting if you can't even add to this discussion? Or make a point? That's two posts now where all you do is come in, and look down on other's perspective of things and offer no feedback. We've had a run in before and I'm not one to hold grudges, so I'm pretty sure I'm being objective or at least trying to be when I make the following statement: You don't belong in this thread. You aren't mature enough and how you conduct yourself is in violation with the rules. If all you are going to do is belittle others and talk trash, then you can go. I'm not going to humor you anymore going forward.
  20. I didn't phrase it like that at all. Plus I didn't even use the word refugee. I mean I guess if you are the most cynical person as can possibly be and put it under the most negative spotlight you could, I'd imagine that is one way to interpret it. It isn't a matter of "wanting" those countries. But if that country is a failure and in shambles plus the leaders are worthless, then maybe we should just add them to our land. I mean the earlier example I gave was parts of Central America. An absurd amount of people are fleeing and it is super obvious those leaders are never going to take the country in a good direction. They should just abdicate and become one our territories. The alternative is to keep letting people flee for their lives from there and to let those perfectly good resources and land go to waste under the management of incompetent leaders. Like Mexico is a pretty good example. That leader is nothing more than a puppet. It is obvious the government is ruled by the Cartels. Why wouldn't they want to join us? What do they have to lose? Their poor way of life? The endless amount of families that starve and barely get to eat meat once every two weeks or sometimes worse, once a month? The fact that they pimp out their young teenage daughters to have food for a month? I want a pretty good list of reasons why, joining us is a bad thing. Considering the fact that tens of thousands of them keep trying to cross over and live over here or at least come over and do business with is. We mine as well plant our flag over there and then tax them. We could bring good reform that would help those people. Like you said earlier, context matters. Please don't distort my words. I meant other joining us with good will and intent. But there are some people that are fed up of taking refugees from places that should have gotten their shit together long ago and they are most certainly not laying the ground work for improving even as we speak today. Some people are advocating using force. I want to put the option on the table to begin discussing. As for preventing the people from sneaking in over here after they refuse, how is that not reasonable or sensible? What is wrong with blocking them from coming over? Please elaborate. I want to hear your logic and reasoning. If not to be convinced that maybe I'm being unethical or unfair.
  21. No wait, you're misunderstanding. I don't want answers like yes or no, and scales of 1 to 5. I want people to give me their ideas and theories on why they think things are the way they are, what made them that way, how to change them, and so forth. I approach these conversations like from a philosophical point of view. I'm not trying to measure or turn any of this into a statistic. I like open ended responses cause it gives a person a chance to reveal themselves. Someone with my skill sets in the social sciences plus information gathering helps me learn about a person better. How do I put it. Like I need some time to observe a person and to hear them talk so I can figure things out. The part of me relaying the info here was more like giving info to the people asking questions so they can ponder that stuff. I didn't know if they were rhetorical or if they actually wanted someone to give them feedback so they could spend some time mulling it over. I get what you mean. Talking about it is one thing, like right here, but I'd expect leaders to better figure out how to implement what I mean. Refining the process before doing anything is a given. I just mentioned what i did by bring some of the idea to the table. What you said makes sense. I also like music and art so I'd prefer to not do away with those aspects. As for imperialism. I'll stand down. But just for you to better understand the kind people that live in this world and what some have been thinking and talking about lately, I want you to know, I'm not alone when it comes to discussions over our country taking others (by force if they won't come over peacefully). It has increased as a topic lately. Just giving you a heads up is all. Those kind of talks might begin surfacing soon enough in our politics. But i can see you dislike that direction of discourse, so I'll drop it as far as "encouraging" it goes. @XRay I get what you are saying. It would have to be something discussed pretty extensively to find middle ground as far as advocating how people should conduct themselves and what would be discouraged as living practices are better understood and brought to light. I agree about the religion part but I think more of character when the word American comes to mind. Culture is more of a word used in sociology to define how communities or groups act based off what brings those people together so I think in this case, maybe that word conveys the wrong intent? I also don't want superficial things to determine what makes you an American cause people could easily pretend or act to avoid detection. I think it should be something more symbolic and deep to truly set us apart from other countries and something enemy spies can't simply imitate. I guess maybe I'll think more on what that should be. But none the less, I still want people to "become" American. I feel like some people are here just to take advantage of certain opportunities that should only be reserved for us and our citizens. Cause then you have people like that woman who left and joined ISIS and now that her group was wiped out, she is begging to come back since she had a son. I couldn't even begin to tell you how much that...no. I'm going to relax and leave it at that. That is an example of someone who never was American and what I want to keep out of our country. I've seen numerous people defecting recently and something has to be done about people like that. The fighting has moved inland here in our country. And fixing this isn't going to be easy. Our country has been invaded and they are using social engineering to take us down.
  22. Welfare is something I don't know much about and isn't the issue I'm overly concerned with. I'm okay with immigration as you described it but I want who ever comes to assimilate to our culture and our traditions. No more practicing your country's stuff while you are over here. I'd say leave all that back in your country. Those who refuse to assimilate, can leave. If you are coming to live in America, then BE an American. Actually become one! Religion anf culture are two different things and for those who think they are slick and gonna mix up the terminology then you can take your @$$ out. Anybody who has taken an introductory level sociology class can tell the difference and when immigrants trying to be sneaky and play word games they can shove off. Abusing the wording of laws and finding loopholes would be something that needs to be addressed too. Like for example that birthright one and how they is currently being being used out of context. That entire law should be abolished since it isn't even clear and is being taken advantage of. Anchor babies shouldn't even be a thing. But maybe I'm honing in on one detail too much. Suffice to say there does need to be changes to fix stuff but overall immigration is a good thing when it is being done right. By right, I mean we have a clear organized and fair system in place that doesn't create loopholes and makes it so that coming is on a need basis first, then merit, and finally an economic one. Now I'm sure the next thing would be that we'd have to define what is "American" but that in itself is a separate topic. But on another note, I'm tired of the topic of immigration. If so many people want to come here, why not we just take over more countries? We should just go and claim more territories as vessels kinda like Puerto Rico. We should be expanding to fit all the people who want to come over. If a country's leader objects, then black list the people from there. Plus put in measures to prevent them from trying to sneak in. I know that might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm in favor of America expanding and taking over more land. Clearly other places don't know how to manage themselves and as a result of their failure, we have to provide resources and manpower to fix other people's problem. We could avoid that if we just take those lands and plant our flag there. Then send some competent skilled people to help that land and the people flourish this making our country bigger, better, and more prosperous. Why in the hell haven't we already conquered Central America is beyond me. The leaders down their are never gonna fix anything, gangs are still running rampant, and all that land and those resources are being wasted by not being managed and allocated properly. It is a waste in my opinion that we haven't cultivated and groomed the land to benefit our people. Plus if those people decided to become part of us, they'd get all the same protections from our laws and so forth. Okay, I'll stop there cause I'm just ranting. As for guns. I don't think any of that "control" stuff works. It all sounds ineffective and considering how often there are daily shootings in two different places that are part of states that are supposed to be the harshest on gun control, it is clear it doesn't work. But since people won't shut up about, fine pass the license and background checks parts. We can draw up legislation that expires in 5 years. During that time we can collect data and then when it comes time to renew we can shove cold hard evidence in the faces of certain groups that it did absolutely nothing to change the numbers on violence. If on the off chance, it did work, we can keep it. But I put my money on it not working. But it is time for that topic to come to an end and for us to do something about it so we can move onto other topics. I'm willing to experiment on solutions but I want expiration dates on these solutions and I want a team collecting data while it is ongoing. Cause if it isn't working, we can throw those papers in the trash when they expire and not bring up the topic again. I'm part of camp that think it is a mental issue problem and that we need to invest into raising kids better and being part of their life to help them turn into good adults. As for the adults that do the crime, we need centers where we can see if they can be rehabilitated and if not, then we can decide what to do with them afterwards. There are plenty of ideas on the table so I think we should start experimenting already by drawing up papers with time limits so we can see what will work and what won't. So do I see any candidates that talk similar to how I think? Not really. I usually just either go for independents or for whoever at least picks one thing I care about and echoes a similar train of though. Often enough they want to do one thing I care about right, but others wrong. Like it is weird how they think the same on one idea, but not others.
  23. I get how serious the situation is. I'm ready to play my part and make sure I make a decision to the best of my ability with the well being of as many people as I can. But what more do you expect from citizens? Spreading info is now more easier than ever with social media and various other outlets, I'm pretty sure for those who take it seriously, they do what they can to present info as factual as possible while leaving emotion out of it in an attempt to get people to see their logic and reasoning behind supporting a specific cause. (Which I sure is all you need to do to convince moderates) But I mean what else is there? Aside from making sure as many as people as you can reach are informed and will make an informed decision. Cause protesting is annoying with the inconvenience it causes. I hate being late to work cause of protesters. And my higher ups don't even accept that as an excuse for tardiness. Plus I lose time. I'm sure loads of people dislike protesting for those two reasons alone since it affects their livelihood. Then there is the danger of getting into a fight with counter protesters. I dunno, but from reading your response, it sounds like you are asking for more but what specifically? Or am I interpreting you wrong? Cause at this point anyone who stumbled into this forum should be able to make a pretty good choice based off the info plus sources presented. My response's objective isn't to discourage discussion on this board. Again, I just became concerned about how passionate and vocal some people are being. It sounds a bit unhealthy to get overly worked up. I drove my point by now, so I'll stop mentioning it but that was all I was trying to say. If I had to put it more accurately, I just want some people to take a few days off and get some R&R. Then come back after a week or two. Maybe my imagination was just tricking me a few days ago and it isn't a big deal. I still consider myself moderate. I have this notion in my head that we can recover from whatever he is doing. We can fix it. It'll just take hard work and good will to get others to come back to being our allies. Maybe that is overly optimistic and naive but I've seen it before. I've met people who it wasn't easy to win their trust but since I never gave up, now I have a certain level of rapport with them and I know the impression I've created is "hard-working, earnest, diligent, reliable, honorable, and demonstrates good integrity". I'm sure people are wise enough to know that not everyone likes him, thinks like him, or even agrees and that the real good people are just waiting for him to go away so we can get back to work like real mature adults and fix the mess we are in. But looking at the Dem's current platform and ideas. Hmm I don't know how to phrase it but i just have this gut feeling that allowing others to pass those laws and live that lifestyle would create a huge mess of things that you can't recover from. Laws can be changed and rewritten, order can be restored, trust can be earned back over a period of time, but people lifestyle isn't something that can easily be changed. It is close to impossible. That requires changing people from the inside and that is extremely difficult. Making those changes that they are proposing would enable certain mindsets and send a message that once the people start getting comfortable living like that, we won't be able to come back from it before it is too late. I'm pretty sure I'm being vague as hell but it is just a gut feeling. Im listening to my instincts. I don't know how else to better articulate it.
  24. Okay admins, don't ban me for this but this in fact the Pokemon section for us and the Wifi topic and since a new Pokemon game came out last week we need this thread revived! So please cut us some slack. I saw some people in the discussion thread asking about trading info over there and if it was okay. Should we trade friend codes so people who want to trade can meet here? anybody wanting to do trades to fill the Dex can hit me up I got some Mons that are trade to evolve so I need help with those. Also since items seem to be a thing, we can rotate on those as well. I haven't gotten that far yet so my access to certain Mons is limited. I got Sword for anyone who wants to know. Also, I'll battle but not till later when I can spam eggs and roll 31 IVs. Let's revive this topic peeps!
  25. I'm up for trades. When I get home I can help out. I have Sword and I'll also be up for helping others fill the Dex. I'm gonna start mine soon but keep in mind I haven't beat the game and I'm still pretty early on. Also can anyone answer this, but since exp share is always on, does that mean EVs are constantly being shared too?
