  1. Also when the Choose your Path trailer came out, we saw Corrin transforming into a dragon. The thing is, it was never a doubt there would be beast units in Fates, yet this trailer was five minutes long and there was not even a hint of them. Not to say that means there won't be any, but it's enough to make me worried. I also don't think they will be important to the plot, in case they really make an appearance.
  2. Gryffindor PROS: -Edelgard. -I like that it's an empire. -Gaunlets. CONS: -No Dumbledore. -I have issues with the color red, kind of like a trauma thanks to my country's government, so I don't like it. -Don't care much for the character designs on this one. Ravenclaw PROS: -I like the character designs of Mercedes, Ashe and Sylvain. -Italian food is my favorite. CONS: -It's a kindgom, there's nothing new or interesting about that in itself. And worse, a holy kingdom. Hufflepuff PROS: -I'm very interested in this 'Alliance' they have ruling that country. -No sparkly vampires. CONS: -I didn't care for the character designs of this group either.
  3. It's true beast units tend to get either little background or a downright bad one, but when I say they're my favorite I don't mean story-wise, I mean as units in battle, gameplay-wise. So, regardless of how they appear in this game, if they do, I want them as units in my army that I can use in my strategies . I don't actually care if they're important to the plot or not, just that they are part of the gameplay.
  4. This is me. I don't reclass unless I really think a character needs a certain skill, and after obtaining it I go back, but reclassing in general bothers me on a strangely high level. I'm also glad we won't be students... But I don't want to be a teacher either, I hate teaching hahaha.
  5. I understand the language, so don't worry I guess there's a high chance we get the loli dragon, who's very cute, but if that's it..... Let's really hope it's a 'Nooo' -gives him chocolate chip cookies made with tons of love- ❤️ That's okay! But yes, they really are my favorite, so I'm very worried.
  6. Whoever gets that stinkstone reference gets a chocolate chip cookie made with love ❤️ So I'm actually nervous. The trailer was 5 minutes long, showed battles and characters and lots of stuff, but no manakete or any other beast. And I didn't see anything of the sort when they showed that board of skill types. Beast units are my favoriiite What do you think?
  7. Actually, I think that a lot too. Like for example, the fact they didn't bother to show F!Byleth in any of the scenes in the trailer when they could have done so without issue, the fact Kiran in FEH is obviously male (like why even bother pretending he's not), or things like how in Fates the Grandmaster class is male-only, which gives reason to the people who like saying F!Robin isn't canon. And not just that, I constantly find myself feeling out of place with IntSys, like they don't actually want or care about the female audience.
  8. You are right :c they look completely different, give off very distinct vibes. I honestly don't know what's their deal, they did great with F!Robin, I don't know why they keep doing this even after the complains.
  9. That's quite possible, although it would still mean there's very little suffrage and none for the commoners. But again, that's just Fire Emblem.
  10. In my case, I don't think there will be much war between the three houses, not to the point in which it becomes central to the plot but more like temporary conflicts. I believe this because the three houses don't hate each other, they're in peace, and there's no resentment since the three heirs can be seen walking or fighting together at the beginning and at the end of the trailer, so they at the very least get along enough to go to this Academy together. Similarly, the houses have no problem studying under the same roof. That's not to say I don't expect conflict between them, but as I said, I think they will be temporary quarrels. Now, to be honest, I'm not too happy with the amount of peace and camaraderie I saw in the trailer... I do want open war, haha
  11. Agreed, it actually bothered me how particularly bored Byleth looked throughout the trailer . And yes, I too find the art style to be too bland for Fire Emblem, but perhaps that's because we just got out of Kozaki's creative and charismatic style, and Hidari's elegant and beautiful style. It seems to me that, in those respects, this one is like... neither Yes, I was hoping to see her in action before commenting on anything, but the trailer forgot about her a second after showing her. Still, maybe when we see her in movement the design will look better... I thought this was going to be the case! But yes, we get a fashion mess instead, hahaha
  12. Honestly, I've tried not to think much about Leicester, because I can't wrap my mind about it being a country ruled by an unconflicted alliance of noble houses. But, as you said, this is fiction. It's not a democracy, simply because of the fact Claude is an heir to the title of Leader of the Alliance, meaning he won't be voted as the Leader not even by the other nobles, just that he's going to inherit the title. So no suffrage there, limited or otherwise. Now, there being a leader among them doesn't mean said leader has absolute power over the country; since it's an alliance of noble houses, I'm assuming he's more like the leader of a council, and said council is made up of the other heads of the other noble houses. So, a plutocracy, as you said. I don't think there's a House of Commons there, it doesn't sound very Fire Emblem. But, again, since it's Fire Emblem, I'm very sure commoners are happy with their government regardless of its type, unless said government is one of the villains. It would be very interesting if the game showed there were conflicts within this alliance and/or between the alliance and the commoners, but I won't be holding my breath for this
  13. I agree with all of this, specially the fact that they would have said so by now. The game even has a launch date already, it's not like they can hide it and then surprise people with a split game the moment it comes out. Moreover... 3H isn't generating half of the hype Fates did. Sales wouldn't go well even if they had the nerve to split the game again. Besides, the Switch can handle more than one path in one game, although I don't think this will be the case. And on that topic... I don't think the artbook in this one is worth paying for this special edition
  14. This is amazing, great job ! I'll be choosing the Black Pidgeys in my first playthrough, but the characters I liked the most in this trailer were Ashe and Mercedes, both apparently from the Mystic Team :c
  15. You mean people didn't like her leggings? Or more like stockings (are they the same thing in English?). I liked them a lot, I thought they were cute specially because I like wearing stockings myself. Maybe that's why I'm making such a big deal out of poor Byletha haha but joking aside, i suppose that, now that you mention it, maybe the designer's intent was to give her a modern fashionable style mixed in with the medieval fantasy setting, something I can see was done more successfully with Dorothea.
  16. To be honest, I still think we're going to be fighting against the Church of Seiros at the end of the line, as the true villain or something. That guy who obviously looks like a villain strikes me more as an important lackey like Gangrel or Robin's daddy. So I think the houses will unite against the Church and whatever Evil Dragon is there; if there will be disputes between the three countries it won't be that important. I also think that when we choose a house, the other two will become non-controllable allied units and/or temporary enemies turned allied units. I say this because in the trailers, the heads of the three houses (namely Edelgard, Spaghetti and Bambi) look like friends or at least it's clear they get along with each other enough to fight together, and even when they're shown individually commanding their armies to attack, you never see them actually battling against each other like in Fates. So I think IntSys just wants us to think the game is about the three houses fighting each other when it's not.
  17. Haha this would be soo cool! Like this really big revelatory thing that shocks you like when you discover who the villains are in Bravely Default and Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies Not to say he'd be the villain but you know, those dark flames surrounding him suggest something Robin-like (I hope it's not just that, though, but something new!).
  18. Now, now, there's no need for that accusatory attitude, please. It doesn't matter if the character is female or male, the fact remains her design is weirdly mismatched and not very good for cosplaying, as well as the overall design of the characters that are sort of plain. And I'm not even saying this with malice, I'm the first one that wishes I'd like them more than I do, given how much I love every FE Game so far. So, please, there's no need to act like disliking a design makes someone beneath others. This was my reaction with Edelgard I like her clothing, it all matches and her leggings aren't weird. I also like her hair a lot! And maybe not many will agree, but I love that hair color, I actually did a playthrough once with my Corrin having that exact same hair color .
  19. Black Eagles, because it's an empire, it has Edelgard in it, an also battle gauntleeets That being said, I like the characters from the Holy Spaghetti Kingdom so much more :c I didn't care much for the characters from Bambi Alliance, but I still want to choose them in like my third gameplay.
  20. I actually always liked Corrin's design, including the fact they wore no shoes, something about it just looked cool to me? I don't know, I guess I'm a monkey It also made sense, like the whole design was the same style. Poor Byleth just looks weird. Oh, how saddening that you think that way of Corrin But okay.
  21. I get you, I'm the same right now and it worried me how terribly uncharismatic he was in the trailer.
  22. That's right! the fact the class change seems to change the clothes too is my only hope, haha . Also it seems the characters will all start as "Noble" and then they can get upgraded to an actual class, sort of like the villager units such as Donnel. So I guess I'll wait for when the designs of each class come out, and hope they're not as senseless as Female Byleth's Thank you for posting What do you mean ?
  23. Oh... You are absolutely right I haven't thought of that . I don't think we'll have three different paths this time, though, more like just three different armies to choose from, but in any case it doesn't sound so good...
  24. Oh, this is actually something I made a topic about many months ago with the teaser, haha. I do believe he doesn't talk; my theory with the teaser was the fact he never opens his mouth when doing a critical hit, which another character does here in the new trailer. In any case, Byleth does remains silent both in the teaser and in this trailer, also his face looks so bored but that's neither here nor there. I really think he'll be the silent type. That being said, I do think he will have an important role in the story, simply because the trailer said he was 'the hero the world needs', and also because of him being the only one able to see Sothis. And that dark miasma thing surrounding him at the end of the video looks important, I think
