Rhajat I can understand because Tharja was incredibly popular in Japan and thus IntSys was capitalizing on a pre-established fanbase. I don't agree with the changes they made to her romantic support with F!Kamui, but I can still see why she was picked. Niles I can only speculate about given that he's a new character not based on any pre-existing ones, but given that he hits a lot of points for the fujoshi fanbase in both looks and personality he was probably designed more for that crowd. This is just an observation, but it does seem like that they, in addition to the reasons above, picked the two characters who seem to have the least regard for what society at large thinks about them. But that's probably just me overthinking things. But yeah, I think there are better choices for M/M and F/F options: Azura, Silas, Soleil, Kaze, Jakob and Felicia. Mostly the already extremely loyal characters (sans Azura and Soleil).

The Dread Scroll DLC won't be coming out until 3/17, but the DLC Classes are permanently added to the Heart Seal list of classes a unit has. Regarding Laslow, class changing is probably the best option. I gave him the Lodestar class and he's been an absolute beast since, but Dread Fighter could probably also work for him since it gives even better Speed growth than Lodestar.

Enemy Ninjas in general and enemy Ninjas with Lunge specifically. Nothing like having your day ruined like the Ninja Lunge Swarm or the Ninja Poison Swarm that Hoshido likes to use in Conquest. Speaking of Conquest, Chapters 10 and 12. The former is bad even before Takumi eliminates most of your checkpoints, and the latter has those awful pots and both have everyone's favorite pests, Ninjas. Conquest 11 comes close for me if only because Archers with flippin' Counter. Freeze and Hexing Rods. Freeze is marginally less terrible because it doesn't outright make a unit useless most of the time, but they're both annoying in general.

Hello everyone! I'm AzureSen. I've been a Fire Emblem fan for a couple of years, starting with Marth and Roy's appearance in Melee. My first Fire Emblem game was 7, although Shadow Dragon was the first one I actually beat. The only main games in the series I haven't played are the original 1 and 3 and the Tellus duology. My favorite game is Binding Blade, my favorite Lord is Roy, and I like a lot of the series' characters, though my absolute favorites are probably Micaiah and Roy. Currently I'm playing New Mystery and both Birthright and Conquest. Aside from Fire Emblem, I really adore the Megami Tensei series of games. I'm pretty hyped for Shin MegamI Tensei IV: Final, mostly because of Nozomi getting a bigger role. I like a lot of JRPGs, and RPGs in general are probably my favorite genre. I'm also a huge Platinum Games fan, and I haven't yet met a Platinum game I didn't love. For my other hobbies, I enjoy watching anime, creative writing, writing about film and film theory, and building Gundam model kits.
