  1. But that would make punishing people for taunting impossible :/
  2. I haven't read most of the other posts in this thread, so i apologize first off if what i say has already been mentioned. SOOO, mechanics i think would be good for smash 5? #1 better ledge mechanics, and by that i dont mean ledge hogging, i love the ledge trump mechanic, i just want to see all of the getup options be useful, since in this game ledge trapping is one of the most annoying things to get around. since some characters can guarentee a punish at the ledge with the right setup (glares menacingly at Diddy) What needs to happen imo is a buff of getup roll, and getup attack. Roll is reactable and laggy, and attack is also really laggy, (but attack its more ok since its only for callouts when the opponent is being unsafe) #2 During balance patches (if any) focus more on buffing the weaker characters (RIP Puff ;;) over nerfing the better ones. Obviously this doesnt apply to every situation, because sometimes things still do need to be nerfed (Glares menacingly at Diddy once again) but you get the point. (Greninja is scarred from his traumatic experiences throughout the patches) #3 More FE characters Kappa Huh, i thought i'd have more gripes than this, but thinking about it now, smash 4 did a pretty good job.

  4. Not gonna lie, Brawl would've been a much healthier game competitively if they just banned MK, of course banning things is an extremely controversial thing to do, but I think it fits all the criteria of what deserves a ban. MK was 100% game breaking, heck, the whole tier list was heavily based on how well they played vs him. Brawl will never be what it could've been, but it could be less dead if given some attention
  5. I suppose this sets in stone the death of Irondraft, may it rest in peace
  6. actually, to build on that point. They could add a bunch of new FE reps if they just make them alts of existing characters. Thats right, Chrom could still make it as an Ike alt
  7. I think what they did with Olimar and Alph was brilliant. And should definitely have been used to a greater extent, for characters like Pit/Dark Pit, Mario and his post secondary graduate counterpart, and of course, Marcina. But yeah, as much as I would love to see it, new FE reps arent likely, Inkling, wolf, Ice Climbers, Snake ;-; are the most likely to be added, but with echoes coming up and FE Switch around the corner, who knows.
  8. recently picked up Villager in sm4sh, so now my pfp can make sense, as a Corrin/Villager player
  9. these are in no particular order 1. Jak and Daxter An action platformer 3rd person shooter series with a racing game in there somewhere, this franchise makes up 5 of the best games ive ever played (but mainly the first 3) Favourite Entry: Jak 3 2. Fire Emblem I'm here aren't I? Of course I love this series! Started off with Awakening a couple years back, then played Fates on release day and have since begun to play the earlier entries Favourite Entry: Fates: Conquest 3. Star Wars Battlefront (no not that disgrace of a game EA made) The original 2 Star Wars Battlefront games for the ps2 took up countless hours of my time when I was younger, and to this day I still pull out the dusty old copy of BF2 from time to time Favourite Entry: Star Wars Battlefront 2 4. Ratchet & Clank A series very similar to Jak and Daxter, just substitute a good story for more humour and bigger guns (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). Regardless, the 3rd instalment in this series was one of my first ever ps2 games, which led to playing other games in the franchise. Unfortunately I didn't end up with any more Sony consoles after the ps2, so I havent played the more recent entries, but when I finally get around to buying a ps3/4 its good to know I'll have a lot to catch up on Favourite Entry: Ratchet & Clank: Up your Arsenal 5. Assassin's Creed A series I've prided myself on keeping up with over the years. The gameplay is great, the story is great, the aesthetics in the series have always been amazing. To this day even the first game in the series still looks good. So whats not to like? Favourite Entry: Assassin's Creed: Unity
  10. as of yet i've never heard english marth, im currently completely used to his voice in smash 4
  11. subsequently, it could also be a move geared towards targeting specific enemies, like we see in some of the moves of Girahim and Midna in HW
  12. with the fairly recent release of FE 7 and 8 on wii u VC, I think it's reasonable to expect content from those eras as well
  13. yeah, way too early to properly judge, quite looking forward to continued speculation after tomorrow (also, i had no idea that Zelda doesn't sell as well in Japan, you learn something new everyday I guess)
  14. lets hope you're right about that the best we can hope for is that its just as polished as Hyrule Warriors was
