  1. I see. But when you said "5th game" I thought you were talking about Trails into Reverie, so at first In terms of actual advice Guardiansing should listen to, Star Fox Assault is a good game that's worth playing (unless Guardiansing just plans on playing Star Fox 64). Pikmin too, even if it has nothing to do with politics.
  2. I put it on Normal for now, but I'll think about it. But you didn't namedrop me in regard to any of the other spoiler tags you posted, so I was wondering if there was a reason you did it now. Who knows? Maybe Guardiansing will play Trails one day and become an Osborne fan. Incidentally, this means the Garellia Fortress incident (and some stuff in Crossbell) in CS1 happened on Fie's sixteenth birthday. And she didn't even tell anyone...
  3. I finished 13 Sentinels' prologue, or I assume I did since it seems most of the menu options have opened up now. I don't think I really understand anything yet, and I'm not sure if I fully get the battle system, but it's interesting so far. What I do know though, is that Amiguchi is a chad. I wonder if there's an in-universe reason for everyone being naked inside the robots, besides the obvious "they wanted to draw Iori's butt". Until I play the game myself I'm going to wonder why you mentioned me for this spoiler in particular. It can't be anything Rixia related, since she's not in the game. My biggest takeaway from this is that Fie has an established birthday. Trails in the Sky gave some of its characters birthdays, but not many others have been established since then. "Princess Alfin, is that legal?" "I will make it legal." Veyle must have the power to make herself older by de-aging everyone else. Engage's lore is deeper than we thought...
  4. Rixia simping is truly my greatest contribution to society. At least you don't have to play any mobile games to understand the plot yet. But the director isn't adapting Xenoblade 2, nice try. Did you bring a light? NO She looks more like a young teenager than your usual FE dragon girl. That has to count for something, right? Another thing worth noting is that Garreg Mach is dependent on donations from nobles to function, so they don't have much of a choice but to acquiesce to any demands they have. That's probably another reason, whenever something becomes mainstream it'll get credit for inventing things that weren't mainstream before. Like Persona and schools.
  5. You know how people are about play order, so it will still be considered mandatory viewing. I'm just glad Rixia was included. Nice of the princess to invite us over for a picnic, eh Luigi? Wendy's pennies do, in fact, pinch back, so make of that what you will. No way... I can't believe they leaked Kelik from The Last Promise as an Emblem. This supports my theory that the western video game industry is filled with television industry rejects. Just like how video game critics are just rejected movie critics, why else would they like The Last of Us so much?
  6. Before I forget, here's something @Armagon might be interested in (if he hasn't heard about it already): GigaBash is a kaiju brawler that recently got Godzilla DLC. It even expands beyond the usual subjects of Godzilla crossovers; Gigan and Destoroyah aren't obscure among kaiju fans, but they usually aren't the first Godzilla monsters to show up. But Altina will be in the anime Sooks, that means you should like it.
  7. Rather than "multiple endings" I think the ending gets expanded if you accomplish certain objectives... maybe, since I wouldn't know for sure. How else will you unlock the Vivi ending?
  8. It established that 1 arge = 1 meter and 1 selge = 100 meters, so yes (and also that 1 rege = 1 centimeter and 1 torim = 1000 kilograms). What would we do without Campanella? Reminds me of the scene in Persona 5 where Ryuji comments on how hard English is while speaking perfect English. I can't believe they finally added Trails in the Sky SC to Steam! It only took eight years after FC. Though it makes me wonder what game I played last year...
  9. Rean would have to compete with a certain girl with a big stick, so it wouldn't be worth it. This was actually first established in Sky the 3rd, in Campanella's trivia game. Doing the math Jenis Royal Academy and Mercia Orphanage are 490 selge/49 kilometers apart, and Kloe goes back and forth between them regularly, so... In my case I got it because of a review that actually talked about the game. Also, it was on sale.
  10. Alisa must've mistaken him for a different bespectacled, black-haired JRPG protagonist. But wait, I didn't think you ever beat it. Did you end up finishing it after all? That's what I figured, I didn't think you would deny Patrick his chance to win Elise's heart after all (though I didn't expect any confessions in a non-romantic bonding event). "Elise, I know we've been like siblings for a long time now...but we're not siblings." -Rean Corrin
  11. Merry Smissmas, I got Fire Emblem Engage early but it looks a bit... different from what I expected. See Armagon, it's not that hard to talk about the plot. ...I may not have any idea what it's about yet, but I'm sure I'll get it eventually. As a kaiju fan, he has my respect. I was going to wonder just how many game consoles existed at this point in time, but it turns out the Famicom released in Japan in 1983. There was also Sega's SG-1000 I suppose... C'mon Sooks, I was joking when I said I would play Trails to Azure's fan translation if you paired Rean with Elise. Do not stray from Alisa!
  12. That's because I pick out the memey videos to share. And I was going to complement your art, but for that comment I'll instead go and... uh, not do that. I don't fully blame you for not reaching this point yet, but the endgame is much better than the beginning and is probably the best part of the entire series (XC3, conversely, ends weaker than it started). But it's mostly predicated on how you feel about the characters, so you might not like it as much. No no, Laura is cool. She's not outstandingly complex but she's still pretty fleshed out, Rean and Fie need their sword buddy after all. Simping for Rixia is my joke, and the forum knows that. The Prime games take place between 1 and 2. You also forgot Other M, which takes place between Super and Fusion.
  13. I think I remember you mentioning NNY before. Did you go there recently? Reject romance, embrace Elliot. The Nintendo store had a pretty long line by the time I left, but not when I went in. Actually I think they were starting the line when I got there and I was the first person on it. This is Xenoblade Wait, who's second? It's not Olivier, is it? JoJo didn't even keep Flaccid Pancake, literally unplayable.
  14. I visited Nintendo New York for the first time today, which was a pleasant surprise. Most of the merchandise was Mario and Pokémon related, with Zelda, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, and Kirby getting their own sections and Metroid and Pikmin having some items as well. There wasn't any Fire Emblem stuff though, outside the games section. There were also statues of various characters, a display of all of Nintendo's consoles, and a display of every amiibo, which was neat. It'll only take around 300 hours of gameplay! Though it took you 30 hours to reach Chapter 2 of the first game, so it might take longer... Benice will spend all his bonding points on Elliot in every game, music students gotta stick together.
  15. Rip and tear the Moblins Close enough, you wouldn't even need to play them in release order either. Lightcosmo played Xenoblade already so I would've probably recommended Viva Piñata or Pikmin instead (if they were on Steam), but you can still get a cookie.
  16. Happy birdday @lightcosmo! What game do you guess I would recommend? You might get a cookie if you get it right. How does this fit into the Toy Story timeline?
  17. It looks like Kazuya skipped ahead of the amiibo line. Or the villains gotta stick together, maybe. What message is this in reference to? None of the characters we've seen are little girls, so that disqualifies them from being dragons.
  18. Wish granted, the next FE will feature true permadeath: if the lord dies, the game deletes itself and you have to buy it again. To be fair, everyone in FFVII is basically interchangeable aside from their weapons and Limit Breaks since most abilities are granted by Materia (though Aerith's limits are quite useful, to make her loss more effective from a gameplay perspective). So it wouldn't be quite the same if, say, Reyn died in XC1 and suddenly his gameplay niche is gone. Also, God's Google Drive is just the Lifestream. Ash is just getting ready for when Aidios turns out to be the final boss ten games from now.
  19. It's that time of year again when we get our Switch games in review. You can get your info here! Wait a minute... my top three will all be Trails games next year, won't it?
  20. I know, but seven years is still a pretty long time to continue the "main" timeline. That line was in reference to how the Divine Knights can be used for good or evil, so it could be similar unless Mazingers have literal devil modes. There sure are a lot of videos of Pucci being dunked on. There should be one where Pucci makes fun of Josuke's hair which gives him the power to surpass Made in Heaven. Note: may not actually fit in your palm. Fantasy/mecha lore? I didn't know Cold Steel was made by Monolith Soft. Funnily enough, that line wasn't said to Rean. She did accuse him of being an indecent person once or twice though. Who would those be? I'm presuming Veyle is one of them, she probably isn't a brain gremlin like Sothis so she can't be unplayable on account of that. Also, she's too cute to be secretly evil.
  21. Sure Celine may have been a tsundere in that clip, but she wasn't even complaining about something or being cryptic that time. "If you were to fall off the platform, you most assuredly would go splat and die." -Altina I'm not too familiar with Mazinger... but yes. But it's releasing next month. Making another game seven years after the last one isn't that much of an accomplishment.
  22. Sonic when he sees the economy But you've been gushing about this game ever since you started playing it. You were gushing about Cold Steel III too. Tinkaton is the mon with the gall. What Pokémon did you name after Eunie?
  23. I didn't even try it when I was younger because the time limit made me anxious. And if I struggled with it now, I don't want to imagine how long it would've taken before. Also I didn't have enough space on my memory card to actually save, so I wouldn't have been able to make much progress after anyway. Knuckles's Aquatic Mine is another level I didn't got past when I was younger, though it wasn't very difficult now unless you're going for the Air Necklace (which I also barely got this time). I didn't expect to unironically start liking Alear's design, but here we are. It bears repeating...
  24. Today I conquered one of my childhood demons, the Security Hall stage in Sonic Adventure 2. It took me three tries and I finished the last attempt with less than a second to spare, so I think my younger self had good reason to dread it. I agree. I'm reminded of the time when 3H's Shadow Library was first released and everyone got worked up about Rhea apparently censoring technological development, even though I didn't think much of it when I first saw it. Also I'm not sure if you needed to quote the workout Alear fanart, but I won't think about it too hard. This seems very familiar... I'd think you would have noticed it sooner.
  25. I wasn't expecting everyone to be obsessed with ring cleaning of all things when I watched the Somniel trailer, but here we are. With the Thinker statue, omni-ring Alear will be unstoppable. Assuming they never choose to testify in court, that is.
