  1. It's somewhere in the FE Binary thread. I'm quite tempted to bundle it in with the patch, Arden's doing some nasty stuff.
  2. Well, I know when I've been beaten! This looks very impressive, I'll definitely try this one out.
  3. I used mine on Warp/Rescue staves. There's a certain High Priest I wanted to get rid of in a certain chapter. I was fairly lucky with Lifis, I managed to get his build up to 14 ^^.
  4. I normally stick a spare sword and lance on her, although it's only so she doesn't burn through her Gae Bolg in the arena too much. There are also quite a few steels floating around so it doesn't hurt too much ^^.
  5. Barons have a set palette, meaning they all appear red. Don't worry, with my "toying" copy, I've set it to the same as Generals. It works pretty well, Alec and Noish had green and red capes when I tested them as barons. An interesting mini-patch I found on the boards actually lets any weapon activate sword skills (I'm sure everyone else has already found it :P). Whilst it doesn't fix inheritance, it means that Skasaha can actually use axes (the silver axe has a nasty 24mt) and a Holyn!Patty can do some nasty stuff with the Killer Bow. There's always the subs too, a mage with a sword skill could be interesting.
  6. Most: FE4 Gen 1 - Don't do it, it's a trap! Least: FE3 Book 1 - The dragon's dead! Hurrah?
  7. I've watched the first part of chapter 1, and it seems good so far. A little more comic commentary would be nice, it certainly would fill in the long enemy phases.
  8. This seems pretty interesting, I've never touched characters like Wolt, Wendy or Tate so it'll be interesting to see how they play. It's also nice to see a family of balance patches appearing.
  9. Lifis is pretty handy to have around, especially if he holds onto the Neir scroll. I managed to get his build to around 13 (with a fair amount of luck). He was able to steal Daim Thunder from a certain somebody ^^. Lancelot's right, Lifis practically stocked all my mages up on Thunder tomes. Lara's not really going to be stealing enough weapons and you'd have to wait a while for Pahn.
  10. Best: Sylvia's "Good little gi-- You ever see a little girl with THESE before?" Honourable mention to her "special dance". Worst: Alan "If you're staying, then I will as well. I won't allow you to go off alone and commit suicide" (How about they both stay with Roy to protect him?)
  11. FE6 and 7 would be a good pair to play after, it doesn't matter too much which way around you play them. Although it was nice to see the improvements from 6 to 7, the variation in missions was nice. 3's not bad, although rather basic. 4 and 5 are my personal favourites, the skill system sounds similar to 9 and 10 (I haven't tried 9 or 10 though). 4's a little atypical but definitely worth playing. Thracia's pretty tough though, ballistae are truly evil. Characterisation's not great other than the few main characters. 3 and 5 have some characters with no dialogue at all. I went chronologically from 3 up to 7, trying 1 a little afterwards. FE4 > FE5 >= FE7 > FE6 > FE3 >> FE1
  12. Best: Iote Worst: Braimmond I really do wonder what Hezul was like, most of his descendants were pretty crazy.
  13. New patch is up, changes included in the first post.
  14. Staves, I wouldn't have got through FE5 without some wacky warping. There's also the wide array of effects they have. It's a shame healers are so hard to level in FE1. Bows come a close second, mounted archers are pretty nice.
  15. I was actually going to swap Blaggi for B rank staves, although it looks like I forgot again. The main reason I dropped it was because of Sety, auto A rank staves didn't seem fair. Alec's become pretty interesting. I've tried him with Tiltyu, Fury and Sylvia, all producing reasonably decent children. Of course the mages would have given their kids more magic and better weapon ranks but they were pretty good. Especially a Fee with Awareness. Holyn's getting Duel, most of his pairings have become lackluster with the monster that is Noish.
  16. The Berserk staff doesn't seem to work on playable characters. I'll have to replace that with something nasty ^^. Sorry for the delay guys, I have a driving test coming up. I'll do my best to find some time for this.
  17. FE4's not terribly hard, a bit of a pickle at times though. A little info on your characters and the details on how you're stuck would be nice. FE4's fairly unforgiving in unit placement, if one unit's vulnerable, everyone's going to try and take them out.
  18. Best: FE4 Worst: FE1 The first generation being particularly strong.
  19. Most good characters from book 1 are still good in book 2. Bad ones don't seem to have gotten any better either.
  20. I've done the first few chapters and it's all great so far. Some of the characters ommited from FE3 really do come as surprises! The translation's fine, a little rewording might be nice in places but no bugs or fatal crashes so far.
  21. INFJ (56, 88, 25, 44) Reasonably accurate but yes/no questions are fairly limited. I'm hoping for at least Mid tier though.
  22. Something that's reasonably challenging. It's fine to make the player think, making them pray to the RNG is annoying though. FE5's ballistae were nasty, especially when you could only reach them with fliers. I've reset a fantastic number of times on those chapters. A good design is also nice, a map which makes sense plotwise gives a sense of atmosphere. FE3 was slightly guilty, sending you to capture a castle for the sake of it.
  23. Best: Briggid and Edain Worst: Lugh and Ray If Johan and Johalva were twins, I'd have chosen them ^^.
  24. Nice to see you here, lava! That was an animation bork my end. I forgot to set the animations for the female paladin to female. Some interesting changes for the subs; Asaello will go Hunter -> Warrior (Don't worry, he keeps pursuit) Hawk's a Dark Mage ---> Dark Bishop (with some pretty decent caps) Daisy becoming a prepromote Linda promoting to Sage Femina coming as a Dragon Knight ---> Dragon Master. Janne promoting to a Master Knight! There's also been a few additional skills and growths. The subs do still have flaws though, although they're not quite as lame as they used to be. Expect a couple of bug fixes too, I'll try and get it up over the weekend.
