Hey, I got that asshole right after rolling my Lyn as well. Mine's -atk so he's smelly Renewal fodder too. Your -atk Lyn is probably better than my -spd one, at least. And I didn't even care about getting Lyn but she showed up after I got Cordelia while seeing if another Cordelia would pop up. But I'll take it.

Only did 3 matches with the free crests today, but I was surprised just how easy the matches were compared to yesterday, and for the same point totals too (686-688 range). I'm not sure why things have gotten easier in tier 19 compared to 18. I scrambled to get a higher total yesterday so I'd move up, since I was just about to fall out of the top 5100 to move up with 4,796 score. Blew a bunch of crests and surrendered some matches (which I've never done since I don't like wasting crests like that) and shot up to around the 2,300th place with 4,814 points. Had some really hard matches with some absurd merge level enemies and nasty map picks for the teams I had to fight.(cav team+dancer on that double breakable wall map is awful and broke my streak a couple of times). I was seeing shit like +7 Reinhardt and +3-5 on average of everything else. But today? No/low merges and some odd units/skill builds instead of the standard top tier stuff. Like a +2 Florina with a Carrot Lance, or a +1 Eirika with Seal Speed and Defiant Attack. I doubt I'll be able to move up to 20 with the scores I'm able to get, but I'll take these comfy easier matches at least. Tier 20 would be cool, but rewards-wise I'm fine bouncing between 18-19 if I have to.

Tried another pull on the bride banner after hitting 20 orbs. Was hoping for Charlotte or another Corelia/Lyn with better IVs and got nothing good. At least the 3* Gordin I got was a new unit, I've never gotten him before. Also got a 4* Priscilla, who is also new, but she's -spd so RIP. I'd of wanted to level her if she was better. Probably the last go for the bride banner, since it looks like an orb drought coming up, besides what little we'll get from the new event, and I've got swimsuits I really should be saving for instead. Real shame to not walk away with Charlotte, but Cordelia was the most important one for me and at least I got her, plus a shitty -spd Lyn, even though I don't really care about her.(still better than the Xander I got on the Spring banner as far as a limited unit I wasn't shooting for)

I wonder if another drought is coming, barring those 10 orbs. I'm debating on whether to do one more pull on the bride banner or not since I'll have exactly 20 orbs tonight. I have a pretty good Cordelia (+res/-def) and a shitty Lyn (+hp/-spd) already, but I'd still like a Charlotte and/or a better IV Cordelia(+atk) or Lyn while I can. Caeda I don't really care about as a character, but she has nice art and I don't have any infantry blue mages besides 3* Robins and Odins sitting around, so she'd be okay too.

Yeah, I only gave him Swap since I had no Pivot fodder when I got him, but I have gotten a spare 4* Marth since so I might still give it to him. And unfortunately my regular Reposition user is the S Camilla I swapped out for him, so he doesn't get a lot of movement help with the rest of my main team right now. I really need to actually rank up my Olivia so I have the option of using her in the arena. I've terribly neglected her and she still sits as a 3*, since I always end up having a new unit I really want to invest in (this time Cordelia, who sucked up 40k feathers for her bow and LaD3) and she gets shafted. I totally understand the value of her, but gotta buff up them waifus.. Maybe when I get Olivia up, or I finally pull an Azura/Ninian like I've been hunting for for ages, I'll give Hector another go. I Or I'll just see how much of a difference Pivot makes. I was hoping to squeeze out more arena points with him, and he's still doing good, but Camilla seems to still preform a lot better with my other core units.

She's finished and she's beautiful. She's majestic in the arena. I don't even need her to kill Hectors, since Tharja's got that on lock all day, but I do it just because I can. Also first time using my Hector in the actual arena, and I'm not a big fan. I switched back to S Camilla after this screenshot for the rest of my arena runs. Even with Swap he's still too slow for my taste, and can't move up to intercept Reinhardt right away like Camilla usually does for me.

There's other threads you should ask in, but Rofl already directed to those. Definitely advise against Galeforce or Aether. Neither are really worth bothering to inherit and it seems like a huge waste of a Lucina when Aether's not even that good on him. Similarly Distant Counter seems good but since you don't have a Hector, let alone a spare, laying around to give it already I wouldn't worry about it too bad for now. I'd suggest Fury for the A slot to increase his already good bulk and help his attack and speed at the same time. His Triangle Adept is alright too if you really need him to be taking out greens specifically, but Fury will give him more good matchups overall. The B slot with Swordbreaker helps net him kills on sword units he'd otherwise not get.(you can get it cheapest from a 4* Abel, by the way) I personally think Seal skills + threaten skills is a fun combo, but being objective about it it's usually not as helpful as I'd like it to be. If you mainly want him to be an enemy phase unit and take hits first Quick Riposte is fine too. Vantage is ok, but without Distant Counter I think it's a lot less useful for him. Almost all the units that run Vantage do so because they can counter at any range. Even with DC on Roy, Quick Riposte might be a bit better, but I'm not sure. For the C slot I'd go with Threaten Speed, or a buff skill for your teammates if you want that instead. Debuffing the enemy with -5 spd before engaging helps him out in quite a few matchups. It seems like a toss up for Moonbow or Iceberg as his special skill. When Iceberg is primed, it'll get him a few more wins, but it usually won't be ready until after his first round of combat. Moonbow will be more consistent in comparison. I think it'll depend more on your taste and how offensive you are with him.

Tell me about it. Watch it be Lucina and Camilla again, too. And I'm totally okay with that.

I'd agree if it was just off how this bride banner has been spaced from the Spring one, but I just really can't imagine them skipping out on raking in cash from a swimsuit banner. It seems almost as guaranteed as Halloween costumes to me, and it's even more of a gacha staple than brides and they hit that mark too. I'll be really surprised if we don't see something in July or August.

Damn that's a great idea. I forgot about those since I was focusing on the stratum quests right now. I might throw a couple stamina potions at doing that if I think I can make it, thanks for reminding me.

You guys need to stop it right now. My orbs absolutely cannot handle Severa getting in on a banner right now. i have swimsuits to hoard for dammit. The Brides already swooped in and ruined my plans enough!

Yes, though it's partly my fault for hunting mainly blue orbs for basically months now. I'd like to 5* my Camus too, and Cecilia is also awaiting the 5* treatment (not counting the one fed to S Camilla for Gronnraven+..). But the horses have to wait, since I got a Bride Cordelia and so all feathers must go to her for now. Unfortunately, I'm just short on promoting a Hana to 5* for LaD after getting a Brave Bow for her, so I probably can't have her finished before the season's over unless I get about 3k more in hero merit feathers somehow. I'll still probably use her as my bonus unit now, but I don't know if I'll hit enough points to go from 18 > 19 without her SI finished. I'm looking forward to trying her in the arena, and I wonder if she'll impress me enough to bump anybody from my main team when she stops being a bonus unit.

How about orbs, feathers, AND a Lucina? That's what I'm hoping for. The yet another Lucina would still become my first, so all good here.

Yeah I know, and really I get about the same enemy strength if I switch in Hector over S Camilla or Ike over Tharja too. (thought a noticable increase in points from matches with them) And don't tease me by talking about Fury. I still haven't seen a Hinata despite playing from day 1. Thankfully none of my main units really care about Fury besides Eirika and Xander who had to settle for Fury 2 from all the Jagens I keep pulling.

I've regularly run into +2 to +5 enemies despite none of my units are merged, and I even use pretty low BST units since I usually take multiple mages along. It's really annoying running into stuff like a +6 Julia or +3 Rein but at least I haven't had it screw me too bad so far.

Luckily I have both Cordelias as well, and both Camillas, and I'm very happy about it. I tried hard for regular Lucina back on the princess gauntlet banner with like 150 orbs and just walked away with 2 Erikas, Marth and Chrom (yes, Marth and Chrom despite pulling on the princess one). And I tried for Bunny Lucina after I secured Camilla but ended up with a fabulous benchwarmer Xander instead. And I second waiting for limited events. I'm definitely doing that after this banner until the inevitable swimsuit one, since I bet Camilla or at least somebody else I like will be on that one. If a special Lucina really is the reward for finishing the War Vortex stuff, I wonder what characters they might consider for future events. Perhaps just hitting more superstar characters like Ike or Lyn, I suppose. I'll just sit and hope for a special event Cordelia that won't happen.

That's me with Camilla and Cordelia. You don't know how safe I felt about being able to ignore the wedding banner and then they go and throw Cordelia in there. I'd love to collect Lucinas too but the luck just hasn't been there.

I hope she's a free reward too. I'd be happy even if she's just 4*. It would help alleviate my pain of still having no regular or bunny Lucinas still.

I don't remember if a tweet mentioned it being 5* or simple that you can get a hero from it, but that's what's been constantly passed around about it. They certainly didn't confirm the masked Lucina is the reward in question, despite it seeming pretty likely given the trailer. I wonder how people would feel if that Lucina is actually just part of the alt costume banner for the choose your legend contest(that they could release at the same time).

Following the formula of regular FE games' permadeath, of course. You might get in a bad spot if you lose one of your main decked out units and don't have them for later maps though. I'll probably try to do early maps with my 4* and non-SI units to make sure my best units are alive for later maps. I'm just assuming they'll be pretty hard if a 5* unit is dangling as the reward at the end of it all. I'm gonna guess at least the last few maps will be like GHB difficulty.

I expect the masked Lucina to likely be the reward for beating it. I hope it actually does come soon. I've been leveling up more of my unused 5* and 4* units to be backups to toss at it in case my others die. If they handle it well it stands to be a really fun event.
