Well, hopefully my birthday being in November (and the same week as Halloween no less) will bring me enough luck to where I won't have to reach for my wallet to get Sakura and Nowi. Getting Henry and Armor March would certainly be nice too and Jakob will almost certainly show up before Sakura does, whether I like it or not. Yeah, I'm probably going to end up saying some not-so-nice things about Jakob in the not-too-distant future right along with you. Your reaction to this revelation is pretty much what mine was when I learned that Bride!Lyn and Bride!Cordelia were both colorless. I also still haven't forgiven Lyn for showing up in place of Cordelia and probably never will.

I finally drug myself to 30,000 about an hour ago so I have my 5* Arden now. I started out using a team of Arvis/Ephraim (Cordelia replaced him after he hit max merits)/Summer!Elise/Azama which performed reasonably well but have since switched to Arvis/my new Reinhardt/Klein/Inigo and have gotten nothing but A/A runs since. Now that I just finished up grinding Ayra, she'll be taking Arvis's spot on the team whenever I get back in there. I certainly can't wait to unleash her and her 56/47 offensive spread onto the world, heh heh.

I’ve also gotten Inigo, Julia, Shigure x2, a dup Brave!Lucina, PA!Azura and PA!Olivia since Dauntless Crimeans though since I essentially paid my way to those, I hesitate to label those as apology pulls too. At any rate, I’m gonna see if I can push this luck just a bit further and nab at least one of the World of Holy War heroes as well.

I think the same thing has been happening to me too as ever since my pity rate on Dauntless Crimeans got swallowed up by a dup Lucina, I’ve gotten Hector, Luke, a dup Inigo and now Ayra from my F2P pulls. While I still want Elincia real bad, this delightfully dumb luck I’ve been having has more than eased that pain.

So, I previously said that I might trying sniping for Ayra and decided to do so just now. Me being me though, I accidentally went in with only eight orbs instead of nine and, as fate would have it, there were exactly two red stones. I go for the topmost one and...

Huh, I only just finally went through with it and I already feel so unclean. Too bad there's no Death Blow 3 I can give him since I continue to insist on keeping my 5* Hawkeye around even though he never gets used. Rein's got a Narcian with his name on it though at least. I may well use the current TT to break him in once he's up to speed with his level.

Well I'll be damned, I actually succeeded. Granted, I had to be subjected to colorless hell for a little bit when it came to getting Olivia which included getting about five 3*s in a row and four 3* Serras over the course of this session. Oh, and the curse of Rezzy is very much in play for the both of them (+Spd/-Atk for Azura, +HP/-Atk for Olivia) too but eh, whatever. I can now be done with this banner with a little less than a week to spare. I'm not entirely too sure what my orbs are going to be put towards now whether it's saving up for whatever comes next or red sniping for Ayra. For now, I'm leaning towards the latter and will probably end up with a +3 Eldigan for my troubles instead if I choose to go that route.

The hell? YOLO pulls aren't supposed to give me anything interesting. I would be upset that lover-boy here nuked my 5* rate again except it was only at 3.25% anyways so whatever. At this point, I should just accept that me getting PA!Azura isn't going to happen...... This one at least dropped in with what I assume is a better boon/bane combination (+Atk/-Def) than my original +HP/-Res one.

Well for starters, most people thought that she'd be a free unit since she was briefly shown in the World of Holy War trailer and after the datamine found 4* and 5* stats for her. Of course instead, she ended up not only being summonable but was grouped with two characters who have been in the game for months instead of just being on World of Holy War. To put it simply, people did not take this revelation well. There's also the matter that she got a bonus to her stat total for no real reason as well as two really good exclusive skills (Ayra's Blade and Regnel Astra). Because of this, she's also being railed against by many as being blatant power creep who outclasses pretty much every other infantry sword in the game. If anyone else wants to add anything feel free, but I feel that about covers the noise concerning her.

Well, it was fun while it lasted, but I guess I no longer have an excuse to not join the dark side since this guy is exactly what he wants to be (+Atk/-Spd). I had four chances at Tailtiu in my latest pull but ended up with the above, 4* Est sentient garbage, 4* Shanna and 3* M!Robin. The fifth stone was a colorless and gave me 3* Setsuna.

In order of when I obtained them, I've got Delthea, Summer!Corrin, Olwen, M!Robin (promoted) and PA!Shigure as my 5* blue mages. Yeah, Linde has only been on two banners (Xander's and the mage gauntlet), and the latter literally came right after the former. Leo and Forrest are both Max Mittelman while Hinata and Hisame share the same JP voice actor (Mitsuhiro Ichiki). As far as the variable parent is concerned, you can have:

Aside from Linde and Tailtiu, I still have yet to get a single Mae or anyone not named Boey from the Rite of Shadows group and have only pulled a single Reinhardt (4* of course) to date. To put things in perspective, Delthea was my first 5* blue mage so my luck with them was also pretty shitty for a while.

Linde is voiced by Julia Ann Taylor as well. Pity I don't have her or Bridelia so no JAT Emblem for me. Guess I have to settle for my Chun Emblem team of Eldigan, Lukas (5*), BH!Ike and Ephraim (with vanilla Ike also an option). Once Arden drops, I could do Mick Wingert Emblem as well with him, Abel, (5*) Jeorge (5*) and PA!Inigo

I also had no ill intent with my post. I’m sincerely sorry if it came across that way to you. In terms of what you suggested in that post you alluded to, I could see that as a potential and perfectly valid reason for the special treatment Sigurd and Ayra got. I’m also more inclined to agree with @Nitramyte in that I think it’s far more likely that they got special treatment just to make them more appealing and, by extension, to entice players to pay up to try and get them. Though I suppose we’ll see with time whether or not this practice becomes the norm for new heroes.

If you’re saying that Sigurd earned his BST boost by being the highest ranked FE4 character, then that reasoning doesn’t really work since Lucina and Roy were both the highest ranked characters of their respective games yet their BH versions didn’t get the same treatment as him, BH!Lyn or BH!Ike.
