Just a Kuudere

I've been working on a ROM hack of FE8, but can't seem to get a character's face to change direction after moving to the other side of the screen, so that they face toward the center again. I've tried reloading the face in the new location after moving, but that didn't work when I tested it. It worked when I cleared the face and reloaded it, but the brief moment where the face is gone is a bit odd. It there a way to have the face flip direction without erasing it?

So I've been working on an FE8 ROM hack, and recently finished a chapter. However, when I tested it, after beating that chapter, the next chapter didn't appear on the world map (instead, various monsters appeared at seemingly random spots on the map). Does anyone know what might be causing this, and what I could do to fix it? Edit: It turns out I deleted the line of code that moved the lord unit on the world map the chapter 2 node.

Currently working on an FE8 hack. Just finished Chapter 1, and plan to finish Chapter 2 this week. Currently, I'm just using recolors of existing sprites to save time, but I plan to start replacing with more original sprites once I have a good number of the chapters done.

Hello fellow humans. Figured I'd introduce myself or whatever. I've played FE7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, Warriors, and Heroes, but haven't beaten 7 or 8 due to laziness. Might try FE4/5 next if I can get a means to play them. I'd probably say my favorite FE game is Awakening, which I've beaten on Lunatic+, and am in the middle of a playthrough cause I lost the clear file. I've also been looking into ROM hacking (FEBuilderGBA), though only just actually started recently (past couple weeks). Feel free to ask questions.
