  1. As far as Nintendo franchises go, there aren't that many Fire Emblem references, but there are a few more that I know of. In Glory of Heracles for DS, Princess Piazza tells the Trantian army that she is from Archanea. http://www.nindb.net/game/glory-of-heracles.html Archanea When your party tries to sneak onto the Trantian's giant wooden horse heading for Troy, Princess Piazza tells a lie to get them on: "I am Princess Piazza, representative of Trantia's ally nation of, er, Archanea." And Metal Combat, a SNES Super Scope game made by Intelligent Systems with music from Yuka Tsujiyoko has the level up theme from the original game.
  2. I don't know anything about how the game is played, but this site is a very good resource for the cards. http://aquantis.tripod.com/FEFrameStyle.html Some of the art for the weapons and items are from Fire Emblem: The Complete, so that is another fair good resource for art.
  3. I would just like to add, that only one 3DS game so far has not been released in North America, and that game was about the flora and fauna native to Japan. I am very confident that this game will come to North America, as the much more niche Spirit Camera was released about two weeks ago.
  4. After the Nintendo Direct broadcast the other night, Nintendo released new StreetPass puzzles over the internet for all 3DS owners. In North America and Europe, gamers got a puzzle representing Mario Tennis Open. Japan on the other hand got Mario Tennis Open, as well as a Fire Emblem puzzle. For those of you who don't know, these puzzles are part of an app where you exchange data with other 3DS owners, and over time you are able to get new puzzle pieces and acquire the Miis of other people. This mode exchanges data with all 3DS's regardless of which region they are from. Here is a picture of the Fire Emblem puzzle. There is only one piece shown, as I haven't been able to find any other photos with a more complete puzzle at this time. https://twitter.com/#!/johntv/status/193580092310564864/photo/1 The most interesting thing though is what happens when an American 3DS exchanges data with a Japanese 3DS featuring the Fire Emblem puzzle. This message appears. https://twitter.com/#!/johntv/status/193671435561086978/photo/1 Rather than saying that the puzzle isn't available in this region, is says that the puzzle is not available yet. To me, this suggests a very high probability of the game being announced for localization at E3. I certainly hope that this is indeed the case, but we won't for some time.
  5. Sure was, Nintendo's Japanese twitter account confirmed it earlier tonight.
  6. The website has been updated with details about both maps. Marth appears on Roy's map using his Shadow Dragon art, and Cuan and Sigurd appear in Leaf's map. http://www.nintendo.co.jp/3ds/afej/dlc/index.html Also, apparently there is now a Streetpass puzzle available for this game. I received a Mario Tennis puzzle, but I suggest you all check to see if you got the Fire Emblem one. Remember that puzzles are traded between all regions, so there should be a North American puzzle.
  7. Generally with Spotpass, the content is only available for a limited time, then it is replaced with something else. Usually after everything has been delivered they release the content a second time, so don't worry if you miss it the first time. Also, remember that each region will have it's own servers, so the North American and European games will be distributing content on their own respective schedules.
  8. Yeah, like they showed with Innes earlier, I imagine that the other GBA characters will use their official art. I do feel bad for the Gaiden characters having to use that old crude artwork, now no one will ever love them.
  9. Impossible, Fire Emblem is owned by Nintendo and can only appear on Nintendo consoles. Very interesting interview. It's amazing to see the concepts that Kaga had in the early production of TRS. I guess he didn't understand much of the legality surrounding intellectual property at the time.
  10. Don't get discouraged, you're doing an amazing job and people will see your work sooner or later. Just try to get the word out there and people will start reading your translations.
  11. I actually remember that as well. It did look pretty terrible when revealed. I remember seeing pics of FE64 on FESS, however the name wasn't Trail of the Blue Flames, but Maiden of the Dark. I also remember the pics showing Klein, however he had silver hair and the sprites looked more like Thracia 776.
