  1. Wrys (FE) - Stays in place and periodically uses his staff to heal the summoner and nearby allies. Phantom Ganon (Ocarina of Time) - Floats above the stage, throwing slow-moving energy balls that can be redirected with regular attacks. Ribbon (Kirby 64) - Flies around the stage, firing crystals from the shard gun. Anna (FE) - Stays in place and sets up shop, with her selling a random item that can be picked up and purchased at the cost of percentage (with the summoner having a discount) Kraid (Metroid) - Stays mostly in place, periodically firing chest-spikes as missiles.
  2. For that kind of pick, I'd expect Lu Bu from Dynasty Warriors or Saber from the Fate series.
  3. I really, really, enjoy this game. I'm really hoping for additional support (I think a Legends-style expansion is more likely than a full-fledged sequel), I really like how tight this game controls and my only real complaint with the roster is some of the series' archetypes did not really make an appearance (While Armor Knights are the obvious one, there are no "Christmas Cavaliers" or Fighter archetypes either), and some of the moveset clones (namely Marth/Celica and Robin/Tharja) should have been separated more, which could be remedied in a sequel or expansion.
  4. For Awakening, I think I would go with Morgan or Kellam, the former due to being a potential Dark Flier (as he's one in Heroes), the latter because of him being an Armor Knight. For Fates, I'm not too familiar with, but I think it could be interesting to see some of the more unorthodox classes like the Mechanist. For Shadow Dragon, I'd probably go for one of the Ballisticians.
  5. Ephraim Weapon Type: Lance Personal Weapon: Siegmund This playstyle is exclusive to Ephraim, and is a fast and aggressive lance-based playstyle with a lot of movement and dueling capabilities, with his main weakness being mainly forward-focused. Standard String: 1. Ephraim first stabs his lance forwards… 2. ...then thrusts it forwards again… 3. ...spins his lance to his sides, sweeping it from right to left… 4. ...performs a dashing stab that sends him far forward… 5. ...performs a series of quick thrusts while also going forward… 6. ...and finally performs a wide slash with his lance. C1: Ephraim jumps in the air and slams the hilt of his lance into the ground, causing a fiery explosion where he lands. This can break guards. C2: Ephraim readies his lance, then rockets high in the air, launching nearby foes in the air. While airborne, he can: Air Light Attack: A quick flurry of lance thrusts. Unlike many other air light attacks, this halts Ephraim’s gravity. Air Heavy Attack: Ephraim dashes towards the ground at a high speed, similarly to Marth’s Aerial Heavy Attack. C3: Ephraim pulls out a Javelin and throws it forwards as a projectile, which is surrounded by flames to increase the size of its hitbox. C4: Ephraim spins his lance above himself, then performs a dashing lance strike that leaves flames in his wake. The lance strike reveals stun gauges. C5: Ephraim twirls his lance above himself, forming a flame tornado in front of himself that juggles enemies, which he then slashes to make it explode and deal one more, stronger hit. C6: Ephraim jumps high in the air with his lance, then comes crashing down, causing an area-hitting explosion all around himself as he lands. Special Attack: Ephraim plants his lance in the ground, forming a series of fire plumes in front of himself as he prepares one, powerful strike. Awakening Finisher: Ephraim materializes a horse out of flames, which he rides, performing a powerful fiery charging attack. Crest Skill: Infiltrator. Gives a damage buff based on how many strong enemies are nearby.
  6. Basically what it says on the tin: Try to come up with a moveset for someone you'd like to see in a Fire Emblem Warriors Sequel or Expansion (Doesn't have to be plausible, just who you'd like to see). To start, I'll put down a moveset I made for Edelgard. Class: Armored Lord -> Emperor Standard String: 1. Swings her axe from right to left… 2. ...swings her axe diagonally from bottom left to top middle... 3. ...slams her axe into the ground... 4. ...performs a flip, using the axe as leverage… 5. ...steps back and performs a lunging axe swing… 6. ...and finally jumps and slams the axe into the ground, creating a shockwave. C1: Chargeable move, slams the axe into the ground with a powerful shockwave. C2: Swings the axe upwards with a step forward, launching foes into the air. C3: Throws the axe like a disk, turning it into a projectile. C4: Overhead axe slam, forming an explosion of magic that stuns enemies. C5: Spins twice with the axe, summoning a powerful lightning bolt to strike the ground in front of themselves afterwards. C6: Forms a large dark sigil on the ground, knocking foes into the center before doing one powerful axe swing. Special Attack: Edelgard swings her axe repeatedly around herself, ending in a powerful jumping slam. Awakening Finisher: Performs a series of magic-infused axe strikes, ending in an overhead slam that causes an explosion. Crest Skill: Raging Storm. Gives a temporary bonus to all stats (including Movement) upon defeating a strong enemy.
  7. Wrys: He can't fight, but can heal with his staff. Oliver: Stuns everyone with his beauty
  8. Chrom and Lucina: Giving the two unique movesets, with Chrom using a lance alongside a sword and Lucina using a bow in addition to a sword. Young Link: Replacing the standard items with moves based on the transformation masks, with a new final smash based on the Fierce Diety. Toon Link: Again, replacing his items with stuff more specific to the games he appears in, like using the Grappling Hook instead of the Hookshot, using the Skull Hammer for Smash Attack, etc. Dark Pit: Again, decloning him from Pit, using various weapons from Kid Icarus: Uprising instead of a bow. Roy: Maybe add a ranged attack to reference the 1-2 range of the titular Binding Blade. Ganondorf: Give him a moveset further removed from Falcondorf - maybe give him a Trident to reference Beast Ganon, for one. Luigi: Give him more focus on the Luigi's Mansion games, like using the Poltergust in more attacks. Also the Neutral Special should be replaced with the Thunderhand from Superstar Saga. Marth: Replace Dancing Blade; I really just don't like how it's essentially a normal attack. Donkey Kong: Include more references from his games, like a barrel-throwing move. Wario: Again, include some more references to Wario Land. Some of the Warioware moves should stay, though. Also change Wario Waft to something else because I don't like the move.
  9. I made a couple of FE GBA battle exchanges using various Rivals of Aether Workshop Characters. (The Mollo V. Mycolich one was made earlier than the other two, explaining the lack of hit effects and screenshake).
  10. Anna Stance/Idle 1: Rests her finger on her chin, making her signature pose. Idle 2: Pulls into her pack and pulls out a random item, then puts it back in. Idle 3: Faces the screen and winks, with her finger on her chin. Notable Palette Swaps: -Anna's base outfit is more or less a composite version, the one used in Warriors. -Anna's armor from Fire Emblem Heroes is available as a separate costume. -Pinker hair, a more desaturated brown on her outfit, and brighter trim, referencing her look in Three Houses. -Purple hair and blue outfit, referencing her boyfriend Jake. -A redder outfit and a more desaturated hair color, referencing her look in Awakening. -Same hair color but gains a green outfit, referencing the color scheme of the Merchants' sprites in Awakening. Jab: Anna performs a quick uppercut with a Killing Edge, held in a reverse grip. References her regular attack animation from Awakening. Side Tilt: Anna pulls out a Brave Lance and quickly stabs twice in front of herself. Up Tilt: Anna thrusts a Brave Lance close to the ground and swings it above her head. Down Tilt: Anna stabs with a Killing Edge low to the ground. Dash Attack: Anna pulls out Noatun and performs a jumping overhead strike. Neutral Air: Anna performs a series of spin attacks with her Killing Edge. Forward Air: Anna swings Noatun from high to low in front of herself, which has a spiking sweet spot. Back Air: Anna thrusts a Brave Lance behind herself. Up Air: Anna spins a Brave Lance above herself, dealing multiple hits. Down Air: Anna swings Noatun straight down, a standard down air that spikes. Side Smash: Anna performs a powerful overhead vertical swing with Noatun. Up Smash: Anna pulls out her Bow and fires a rapid-fire series of arrows straight upwards. Down Smash: Anna does a spin attack with a Brave Lance, referencing when grounded units do combat arts with lances in Three Houses. Neutral Special: Rescue Staff Anna waves a Rescue Staff, shooting a magic projectile forwards and creating a circle of magic where she currently is. If the projectile hits someone, it will teleport them to the magic circle and deal a small amount of damage. Side Special: Outlaw's Bow Anna pulls out her bow and enters a stance that she can move in and will maintain this stance for as long as the special button is held down. Releasing the button has Anna fire an arrow projectile straight forwards. Shielding during this stance will have Anna summon one of her sisters to fire an arrow after a delay, though this arrow is much weaker. Up Special: Warp Staff Anna uses a Warp Staff to teleport herself in a direction of her choice. Down Special: Sisterly Support Anna summons one of her sisters, who will, after a delay, copy her movements and non-special actions. Anna's sister looks just like her, including having their own HUD above them. Final Smash: Ballista Barrage Anna mounts a Ballista and repeatedly fires explosive shots all over the stage.

    Heyo!

Hello, everyone! Pretty glad to find this place, as I'm quite a fan of the series, though I've only played Sacred Stones, Awakening, and Three Houses (Played Warriors and Heroes, too). I myself primarily make Rivals of Aether mods or other things of that nature.
  12. -Owain as Odin, with slightly different dialogue or support potential (imagine the hilarity of Owain and Odin having a support convo) -Navarre or Owain in Joshua's garb, complete with his famous hat.
  13. Hoo boy this is a lengthy post. edit 1: Added the Askr Trio mentioned in the Story section in the Roster. Story: I myself am unsure of where the story would go, though I feel it could work better in the Heroes setting, with the Askr trio acting as the main characters. Mechanics: I'd personally like to see some alterations to the Weapon Triangle, either by including the version in Fates that factored in Bows and Tomes (not too sure about what would cover the daggers' spot, since Daggers only appeared in two games in the series), or adding a magic triangle, either the one from Jugdral (with Fire, Wind, and Thunder) or the one in Elibe/Magvel (Light, Anima, and Dark). In addition, a secondary weapon system would be hella good, both to distinguish the clones somewhat (Chrom gains a lance as a secondary, Lucina gains a bow due to her being associated with them in other media) and to add to the strategy. Not too sure how it would be implemented, though, whether it be involved in an Active-Skill type system a la Fate:Extella Link or certain combo enders counting as the particular weapon. One final thing - palette swap costumes are back from Hyrule Warriors as a collectible, some come with minor accessories but are mostly palettes. Roster: Everyone from the first game returns (even Rowan/Lianna despite them not being the main characters in the hypothetical story), but some will gain moveset changes or in some cases, new weapons. Note that the returning Anna is a separate character than the one in the Askr trio, and would be referred to as "Merchant Anna" in menus or in dialogue portraits. Newcomers: I'd be certain that this would focus primarily on Fodlan, Elibe, Telllius, and possibly Valentia. Askr: Alfonse - Infantry sword, would be a balanced character. Sharena - Infantry Lance Commander Anna - Infantry Axe Fodlan: My main picks here are going along the lines of two characters for each faction, not counting Byleth as part of a particular faction. Byleth - Sword user who uses a whip-like sword. Edelgard - Armored Axe User, uses some magic in addition to axe swings. Ferdinand - Cavalry Lance User. Dimitri - Infantry Lance User, focuses on Offense in terms of both attack and stat spread. Dedue - Armored Lance User. Claude - Wyvern riding Bow User. Lysithea - Infantry Dark Magic user. Unlike Tharja, who is a clone of Robin to an extent, Lysithea has her own moveset that purely uses dark magic. Seteth - Wyvern riding Lance User, focuses more on combat than utility/support. Jeritza - Cavalry lance user, but mixes in the lance swings with dark magic. (Note: I haven't played the Elibe, Tellius, or Shadows of Valentia, so these picks are generally based on research) Elibe: Roy - Sword user with a somewhat untrained swordplay style that supplements their attacks with fire magic. Lilina - Magic user that primarily uses fire magic. Echidna - Uses a combination of Axes and Swords. Niime - Dark magic user, could focus a bit on support. Hector - Infantry Axe user, generally filling the "slow but powerful" playstyle. Eliwood - Mounted Sword User, though in terms of playstyle, he focuses on crowd clearing more than Xander with greater range and using fire alongside his swords, at the cost of mobility and speed. Canas - Dark magic user, could be quicker in terms of attacks and have somewhat of a clumsy attacking style that still manages to be powerful. Ninian - Manakete, could have a different gimmick than Tiki in terms of transformation, and would use ice rather than light. Can also function as a dancer. Jaffar - Very agile and acrobatic sword-play style as a Thief. Tellius: Ike - Sword user, is the "slow but powerful" character for swords. Ranulf - Cat-like beast moveset that uses fast physical strikes. Reyson - Unique Bird-like playstyle that uses the wind to attack and can chant for support. Tibarn - Bird-like moveset that is essentially a flier, focusing on tearing apart enemies up close. Zelgius - Armored sword user. Oliver - Light mage, could serve as a joke character for the meme. Miciah - Light mage, focuses primarily on light magic to distinguish herself from Linde. Sanaki - Mage, uses each of the elements like Robin and Linde. Sothe - Thief, uses fast but short-ranged sword attacks, could also do some debuffing. Skrmir - The "slow but powerful" Laguz. Elincia - Sword-based Pegasus Knight. Valentia: Alm - Infantry sword user who fights with his left hand. (I'm not familiar enough with Gaiden or its remake for the characters to pick alongside Alm) History Mode Characters: These characters might not have much story prescence and are unlockable, though more than one may be unlockable in each map. Sigurd: Sword-using Cavalier. Unlocked by beating the Geneology of the Holy War History Map. Lief: Master Knight - can wield any weapon type except Dark Magic and Dragonstones. Not too sure how this will translate into mechanics. Unlocked by beating the Thracia History Mode map. Erika: Would have a similar swordplay style to Marth, but would have more mobile and quick combo finishers and will move around a lot. Unlocked near the beginning of the Magvel history mode map. Ephraim: Ground-based lancer user, could be a very speedy lance attacker, like Lyn or Navarre but for lances. Unlocked by beating the Magvel history mode map. Enemy Only Characters: Note that these can be unlocked as costumes for the characters they are clones of. The Flame Emperor - Uses Edelgard's moveset. The Death Knight - Uses Jeritza's moveset. The Black Knight - Uses Zelgius' moveset. Villains: Validar, Iago, Gharnef and Darios are returning, though they're only seen in History Mode. However, they're unlockable and have their own movesets instead of sharing a moveset with other characters. Validar - I personally don't really know how he would play. Iago - Would be FE Warrior's answer to Wizzro, having a rather technical playstyle focusing on traps and delayed attacks. Gharnef - Again, I personally have little idea. Darios - This one I'm interested in. You know how in Heroes, Fallen Robin is essentially a player-controlled Grima? Here, Darios is still possessed while playable, and instead of sharing Rowan/Lianna's movesets, he uses Velezark's attacks, abeit greatly scaled down to fit a player and not a boss. New Villains: Reinhardt - Primarily serves as the boss of the Thracia Map but may appear as a boss in other areas. Uses a magic-based cavalry moveset that has a LOT of range. Personal Wants: Just some personal picks I would like to see that may or may not really follow the themeing of the post. Archanea: Wrys - Mainly for the meme, he's make for a hilarious character imo. Magvel: L' Arachel - What Robin is to Linde is what L'Arachel is to Leo/Elise, being a more crowd-focused and faster cavalry mage than them. Amelia - Lance-using armored knight, has a chain attached to the lance to allow for very long-ranged attacks. Knoll - Primarily adding him for gameplay potential, with him getting a very unique moveset based on the Summoner Class. Fodlan: Linhardt - Would serve as both a Male healer, and a wind-magic using tome user. Bernadetta - Would make a good pick for a Bow Knight playstyle. History Mode Maps: Blue Skies and a Battle - Byleth's History Mode Map. Based on the Battle of Eagle and Lion chapter, though so as to avoid favoring a given route, Byleth is not affliated with any of the three houses and must fight all of them. Beating this unlocks the opposite gender Byleth that serves as the default. Neverending Dream - The Binding Blade History Mode Map. Zelgius serves as the boss. (Unsure of what chapter to represent Path of Radiance or Blazing Blade with) Rebirth - The Radiant Dawn History Mode Map, represents the final map. Doors of Destiny - The Geneology of the Holy War map, based on the chapter of the same name (ending in the Battle of Belhalla). Sigurd is unlocked upon beating it. Onward to Manster - The Thracia 776 History Mode map, based on the "Across the River" chapter of the same game. Reinhardt serves as the boss, and Lief is unlocked after completing it. Siblings Reunite - The Sacred Stones History Map, based on the chapter "It's a Trap!". Uniquely, Erika is unlocked at the very beginning of the map, while Ephraim is unlocked by beating the map. Zelgius or the Black Knight serves as the boss.
