  1. Was a madman who felt like replaying Conquest Lunatic. Is this enough enemies on screen?
  2. Keeping it to the games I've played: Path of Radiance, Radiant Dawn, Awakening, Fates Conquest, and Shadows of Valentia, are all the ones I enjoyed playing. Blazing Sword, Sacred Stones, Shadow Dragon, Fates Birthright, and Heroes are Ok, and Fates Revelation is the only game I didn't enjoy. Three Houses is in an odd spot where I don't know how much I like it overall. I don't enjoy playing Part 1 at this point because of the map design mixed with everyone's low movement at the start, and having to do all the monastery stuff to unlock all of it's resources (especially on repeat playthroughs), so it's become a barrier to replay. I do enjoy seeing how much my units have progressed in Part 2, but it's also the point where the monastery activities start feeling pointless, so I skip them. I'm in the middle of playing Binding Blade for the first time, so I can't fairly say anything about it yet.
  3. It makes no difference to me who would get the Resplendent slot. I mentioned Sothe because he's also a Dawn Brigade member, and part of me doubts that he'll get a Legendary even though he fits the bill for one. Jill fits for a Resplendent because of her character growth in Path of Radiance despite not being plot important. Edward/Leonardo/Nolan are the main ones I care about, and still think Jarod would be a good GHB unit. Can respect how he held nothing back as a villain.
  4. And have another Axe Infantry grail unit? No thanks. Jarod would be better because of the lack of Lance Infantry units as grail options.
  5. Even though they've done 5 female only banners, but knowing them you're likely right.
  6. If Radiant Dawn were to get a new banner, I'd much prefer it being a Dawn Brigade banner and not another Laguz banner. Laguz units have gotten a decent amount of seasonal slots since they were added to FEH, while a Dawn Brigade banner would be easy to do. Edward, Leonardo, and Nolan each have their own Prf weapons, and if they still wanted to do an Ascended unit, they have Sothe.
  7. To list off everyone who's left: Not in at all: Edward, Leonardo, Nolan, Laura, Aran, Meg, Volug, Fiona, Heather, Danved (different character then Devdan), Nealuchi (wasn't playable in Path of Radiance so I'm counting him here), Renning, Skirmir, and Gareth (same reason as Nealuchi). Missing their base version: Rafiel, Vika, Kyza, Lyre, Sephiran/Lehran, and Kurthnaga. Grand Hero Battle Candidates: Jarod, Ludveck, Valtome, Lekain, Dheginsea (you don't fight him in Path of Radiance so I'm counting him here), and Izuka (same reason as Dheginsea).
  8. Radiant Dawn has by far the longest drought of any game of getting a dedicated New Heroes banner, with the last one being over 3 years ago. It's gotten a seasonal banner and base versions of a few characters since then (most recent one was Pelleas), but it's mostly been alts (mainly Micaiah and Nailah) or Path of Radiance banners for Tellius. What do you all think of this?
  9. Right. Guess I forgot because of seeing them so close to each other in age.
  10. IS did their usual "We NEED tits on this banner" approach. Baffling that didn't use FE6 Eliwood to fit in with the rest of the banner. At least Groom Roy is an Axe Cavalier.
  11. Hana joins after clearing chapter 8 in Rev, so 2 chapters later then in Birthright. Her bases and starting level are all the same, except for having 2 less Strength in Rev for some reason. Only decent thing about her is that there's still not many other units when she joins, so she has more time to be trained unlike others who join later. Nyx, Effie, and Arthur are examples of how bad Rev's unit balance is.
  12. Said pretty much everything that he can contribute towards in Conquest early game. Chapter 10 is the last chapter where everyone is free to deploy (unless you get Mozu, which you'd have to bench one unit). I normally decide if I want keep him on my main squad at chapter 17, but I always use him up until that point (besides chapter 15 since he can't go) cause there's something he can contribute towards in each chapter.
  13. Those reasons I stated a while back were based off of personal experience from playing AND beating Conquest, and he proved invaluable for a while. I know I've been an asshole here sometimes, but at least I don't try to claim other people's reasonings for something as "naive idealism". Who says shit like that?
  14. Says pretty much all of her issues: Poor Skill and Luck so her accuracy is bad, Heartseeker and Countercurse can't be used safely due to her low HP and overall survivability being bad (Countercurse is an inconsequential personal skill to begin with). Wasn't he the same person who showed how Odin can Nosferatu Tank well?
  15. We have, which is why I don't feel the need to explain again why I think you're severely underrating how useful he is. My original pick for worst Conquest unit was Charlotte, but I can see a case for Mozu being it after she was mentioned.
  16. I only pay attention to them in FE games before the 3DS era.
  17. She's -4 Strength compared to her average. I forgot to take pics when I noticed these, but in the same playthrough, my Eliwood had capped Defense at level 15 promoted, which is +8 compared to his average, and had a Lyn who was level 18 promoted and had 10 Resistance, which is -5 compared to her average.
  18. I had a feeling you didn't read the others before. I thought the first response from you was going to be one of those kinds where it's just contrarian for the sake of being so, but you came back to further explain yourself. Apologies. It's something I face plenty on forums. I had no issues with their opinion, but I did want more input and my response on this reply to them explains why I did what I did, and I even apologized. Meanwhile, you come in and try to slam me for saying what I said without contributing anything worthwhile to the conversation yourself or waiting to see if my question to them was founded (which it was, as they said they didn't read the other responses before posting their first response). Shame on you.
  19. Have you bothered reading some of the other responses? Better points were made, like not wanting the same weapon type on different versions of one character (Ephraim, Marth, and Ike) or not wanting a similar stat distribution across alts (Micaiah). Besides, what I said at the start was just an example, it's not the only thing.
  20. Playing Blazing Sword again, and have gotten gotten one character extremely blessed in one stat, and another character extremely screwed in one stat. Dorcas here is +8 in Speed compared to his average, and Lowen is -6 in Strength compared to his average. Neither have received any stat boosters, and both reached level 20 before being promoted. What are some stat extremes you've had before that don't involve stat boosters or early promoting (+5 or -5 at the minimum)?
  21. I know she has her fans. Her having A rank in both Dark Magic and Staves at base in FE 6 late game is great. ...Binding Blade is a game I really want to play. Played all of the mainline games that made it overseas.
  22. 1: The Prologue to Chapter 9. I like how the game focuses on the Greil Mercenaries both in terms of story and gameplay (The only non Greil Mercs you play as in this timespan are Mia, Illyana, and Marcia), so you have plenty of time to decide who you want to stick around from that group. I also like the interactions between the Mercs. 2: The Base. It's the perfect amount of downtime between chapters, letting you have base conversations with your allies and prepare for the next chapter, without being overbearing or unlimited like in games that after. 3: Ike I like how straight forward and honest his character is. Sure, the timing isn't always appropriate, and his personality could be viewed as boring to others, but I think he hits that sweet spot. Also helps that he can have some good one liners too. I also like him as a unit. He's neither super overpowered nor lacking in something like other main characters in the series. He fits right in, no matter who fights beside him. ...Those are just some things I like about the game. I'm glad I was able to get it.
  23. That's the problem with female character designs in Fire Emblem, they very rarely branch outside of those 3 body types I mentioned so the lack of something different can lead to being stale (The main series sticking to one kind of Pegasus Knight design until Awakening and Fates comes to mind). You mentioned Meg and Candice, but another female who's different is Niime, but I don't think anyone is in any rush to want a senior citizen either. At least with males they branch out more often, having more stocky types like Benny and Valbar, muscular guys like Raphael, FE10 Ike, and Balthus, and even older men like FE6 Marcus, Duessel, and Nomah. An idea I have for the sake of variety is having someone like Gatrie (Either his Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn version) on a Summer banner. He's a beefy guy, and so far the only character like that on a summer banner is Helbendi. Make him use a Sword. Another idea is having Oliver on a Winter banner. I'm surprised that he doesn't have an alt yet, and I think he'd fit in with the theme of gift giving. Maybe write him to have a new look on life after what happened in Radiant Dawn, and make him a Staff user. The only idea I have at the moment for a female character is maybe have Candice on either the Pirate or Ninja banner. Problem is, besides her size being unpopular, she has very little to go on as a Fates prison unit who gets no supports.
