  1. Micaiah on Jean to level him quickly Corrin on Yunaka to make a dodge tank Sigurd on Louis is, like Aedan7479 said, broken Celica on Ivy Hector on Diamant feels really good especially since he heals with Sol Dimitri on Halberdier Alfred for Dimitri 2.0 (It's not great but it's usable. I did it mostly to put create a Dimitri clone)
  2. It's because the skill can be obtained at bond level 3 that I think its so good. You're not trying to upgrade it to QT+ because it's not worth the SP or the bond fragments. By slapping QT on Seadall or your rally character, they can heal at the very least 1 unit while providing support. Obviously you won't be slapping this on any of your carries over a skill like canter or holdout, but it's a great skill for support units.
  3. Rally spectrums inheritable from Emblem Chrom and quality time feels great to me because of the low cost and so I don't have to constantly buy vulneraries. The 5 hp it gives came in clutch for some chapters.
  4. I'd put Rally Spectrum near the top of A tier and move quality time to the bottom of A tier. 2000 SP to put these two skills on a support unit is pretty nuts.
  5. Oh it'd have to be Lilith's dragon form with her hat for me. That or a fat grima.
  6. I heard a theory that Alear's hair is red and blue because he has both fell dragon and divine dragon blood in him but there hasn't been any evidence to back it up yet. If it turns out to be true, Alear's hair being all red would suggest a Grimalike plot.
  7. If by boxes, you mean packs containing multiple DLC content, you can buy them after chapter 6 at the Dragon's Gate in Fates. Personally, I wouldn't buy the DLC's because if you mod your 3ds with CIA, you can just download the DLCs for free (roms too if you don't have them) and play them with the physical cartridge. I can't give you any links because its against the forum's TOS it's pretty easy to find online.
  8. I'm actually learning about this in psychology: Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences proved that there are many types of intelligences and for some people, a certain teaching method works better than another. It's probably a difference in teaching method and Soul's understanding and intelligence type. Either that or the teacher was just bad at teaching.
  9. I would continue with the other Fates paths if you haven't already completed them all. Conquest has amazing maps and if you ever feel like challenging yourself, you can run iron mans or replaying games on Lunatic. Playing on lunatic makes you learn about skill effects and what the skills actually do.
  10. Oh thats a cool function. I'll keep that in mind ^^
  11. Don't know why it matters to you but I'm getting a second one for a friend.
  12. Ooooo I'll keep my eyes open for the Mario game when it comes out. Yeah, Triangle has 4 routes in total, 1 for each of the three convictions Serenoa holds and the "golden route". I'm probably going to space out my completion of each route to avoid burnout like I did with Three Houses.
  13. Once I found out that he was the one who designed FE1-FE5, I played through every game he released (aside from the more recent releases).
  14. I absolutely loved the older Fire Emblem games not only for their stories but also because the critical animations are amazing. SMT Devil Survivor is on my list of games to play. I'll check out the others too. Thanks!
  15. Thanks haha! Oh I definitely think permadeath is essential in making a game based on war more fun. Maybe fun isn't the right word but it makes it feel if you're decisions actually matter, that you're there as the strategist who holds the units' lives in your hand. I know that some people don't care who dies as long as the game is completed, but I like to go the extra mile of keeping everyone alive so its so frustrating to lose any character, especially on an incredibly difficult map that takes forever to complete like Conquest lunatic chapter 17. I have two different rankings for Fire Emblem games, one based on how challenging/how creative the maps are. Sacred Stones and Echoes are my favorite games but they're pretty low on this list because of how easy they are as you can grind infinite xp from dungeons. Radiant Dawn is also ranked higher than POR in this list because the gameplay was just better imo. My second list is my personal favorites/best stories in order. In this list, POR is above Radiant Dawn. For my recommendations, FFT, Tactic Wars, and Ogre Tactics are among my favorites. Triangle Strategy's gameplay is super similar to Ogre Tactics but I'm not too surprised because they're both produced by Square Enix. Disgaea is also really good but that's because I have dumb humor. As far as gameplay goes though it's not bad. If you're more into permadeath games though, I'd recommend the rest of the Kaga games (TRS) if you haven't gotten through those yet. He's the creator of the first 5 Fire Emblem games so you'll find some similarities between the 2 series. Definitely going to play Banner Saga after Triangle Strategy. Thanks for your suggestions, I'll look into them when I have the time!
  16. Yeah, I found the patch through romhacking.net which Eltosian kindly answered for me.
  17. Thanks for sending the link! I managed to grab 2 from Gamestop 🙂
  18. It's cool to see that there's a forum for Fire Emblem aside from reddit. Nice to meet you guys, my name is Alear and I've played every single main series Fire Emblem game. I'm a huge fan of SRPGs so do let me know if you have any recommendations! Right now, I'm finishing all the routes in Triangle Strategy while waiting for Engage to release. My favorite game in the series is Echoes and I love how they stayed respective to the original FE2 by having similar maps, and easter eggs like the dread fighter promoting to villager.
