  1. Well, it's my favourite game of all time so I may be biased... It's still a stunning game with its beautiful art style and music (I mean, just look at that! [no need to watch the whole video]) but also very funny/silly with its characters. The world is huge and full of life with memorable characters. Its biggest flaw is its long beginning (first 2-3 hours) with cutscenes you can't fast-forward (I think they kept the same speed between japanese and latin characters) similarly to many games from this era but the middle of the game (after 15-20 hours) is an absolute blast, a jewel full of sidequests and great ideas. It's a long game (60 hour-ish) and it might drag a bit in the end but the story is good (especially if you are into japanese myths and history) and gameplay solid. It's not very challenging (you can have up to 99 healing items in your inventory and can instantly revive under some conditions, you'll never see the game over screen unless you really want to) and similar to Zelda Skyward Sword in some aspects (puzzles are not limited to dungeons, which are well integrated in the overworld and sometimes very short). The combat system relies on brush techniques (i.e. Zelda objects) and three type of weapons you can equip as a main or secondary weapon, with several effects and techniques you can buy as the game progresses. Amaterasu (the main character) is also super fast and you never spend too much time going from one place to another, which is always nice. It's a 2006 game so expect a lot of pointless text and a sidekick character whom you may not find to your liking, though... There may also be one or two times where you might feel lost with little information about what to do next, but otherwise the objectives are pretty clear.
  2. Regarding memetic bosses, I'm quite fond of Gromell... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCB1_y39yI8 Otherwise, defeating Shiharam definitely leaves some impact (and I love how Jill can defect to the enemy).
  3. (Sorry if this has already been asked a lot before, it's hard to search in this thread...) How do you get the "light" version of the game (as it uses a lot of space in my phone's memory) ? I tried uninstalling it and downloading it again but I can only find the "heavy" version. Is it somewhere in the game's settings ? (I'm on Android)
  4. Well, she did revive her fallen warriors in front of the Tower of Guidance : https://serenesforest.net/radiant-dawn/scripts/game-script/part-4-final-chapter-rebirth-1/regular/
  5. I've read somewhere that Fates has 2rn when hit is over 50 % and 1rn when it's below 50 %... (so you rarely miss a reliable attack but you can't rely too much on avoid)
  6. Well, seems like we'll get an English cover... Not a fan of the singer's voice so far but it's only a few seconds long, eh...
  7. Hello, What are your thoughts regarding the sweet ending theme ( http://serenesforest.net/download/fe15/BGM_SYS_ED3.mp3 ) ? Do you think it should be kept or re-dubbed (cf. Lost in thoughts all alone) ? I find it mesmerizingly exquisite in Japanese; the singer really has a wondrous voice. I wouldn't mind an English version but I'm affraid it would not be as good...
  8. Map B4 perfectly delivers the 'epic' vibe meant to suit its maps! The "ablaze" version of B3 is impressive as well... I loved Awakening's soundtrack but it saddened me that Rei Kondoh's style was becoming more and more repetitive (Sakuraba syndrome) while he's one of my favourite composers since Okami: e.g. Destiny(Ablaze) is fantastic but it sounds so much like some of his previous compositions... I mostly didn't feel this way with Fate, even the japanese-style themes were nothing like what he did with Okami/Okamiden and yet they are amazing.
  9. Micaiah in Part 3 of Radiant Dawn was rather interesting, being ready to do anything for her country... As she knew her enemies had the upper hand she didn't hesitate to play dirty, even claiming that she didn't care if history remembers her as someone as mad as Ashnard. Trying to set Sanaki's army on fire with snipers awaiting for an ambush was definitly not goody goody ~
  10. Her growths seem good but not as outstanding as Donnel's (who was obnoxious for 10 levels and ridiculous once reclassed)... However it seems she can promote to Weapon Master and Great Merchant, which can be interesting in Nohr but training her may be a lot harder than in Hoshido. :/
  11. She looks like the Little Red Riding Hood
  12. I really hope FE:If will have low stat caps (between 20 and 30) : Awakening had overpowered enemies by the end of the game in lunatic and you had to focus all your xp on a small squad of 4~6 elite warriors to be able to compete, instead of using an army of 10~15 soldiers (like in previous games)...
  13. The new WT looks neat, I like how it will make archers more dangerous to pegasi, same for mages vs wyverns/fighters and pegasi vs mages... I think you need +/-8 spd to double the enemy (and be doubled ?) instead of +/-5 spd...
  14. I don't know if it has already been said but to me Hoshido is like Lenster while Nohr is like Thracia, each sides wanting to use a dragon's protegee (Altena/Kamui) and the "good" one tries to stop an invasion while the "bad" one has to expand its territory to survive (maybe the "Nosferatu" only exist in the dark lands of Nohr ?).
