I don't know if all the following changes are included in the updated patch you received but, Rowan might now have a 60% Speed growth, June might have a female cavalier battle animation and if you were to restart the game Rose might be at level 1 because her bases are not good enough to warrant being at level 3. There's also more stuff that you've pointed out and other things that I'm not sure made it into the patch you have.

So, some of the growths I posted earlier might be wrong? It's probably not worth correcting, but thanks for telling me.

Awful Emblem: Episode 7: Chapter 6: Part 2: Cedric the Dodgetank

4Wwr9Bj.png

Two-sided attack!

f0ExP52.png

Angus lures out one side, and Clover does the other.

FN8hFr7.png

Whoa, what? I thought she'd at least be able to do SOME damage!

sCaWsdZ.png

Innocent enemy healer?

2HVnIPv.png

KILL IT

BrvlQf1.png

Excellent, excellent!

YnnNxrR.png

You've got a ways to go before you can be called Hectora again, Judith... and by "a ways" I mean, "a few more levels like this".

5AqrFt3.png

We also get a Halberd.

MHw4Wor.png

The strength problem some of my units have is becoming increasingly visible.

Xf98qzr.png

Frank kills the knight and gets a level. IRONY... WOO HOO...

xFii6Dp.png

Okay, now for this guy! Let's go, team!

0jNFvyF.png

Well, not quite yet. Kate and Judith have a talk!

IuoRS41.png

Kate: Freedom! Gods be praised!

You've been out for a while now...

Judith: Who…what are you even-

Kate: I thought I would never see the stars again! Thank you so much, miss…

Judith: Uh… Judith?

Kate: Yes, Judith. The wind informed me of your arrival. My name is Kate!

Judith: The… wind.

n42GUIL.png

Well, she seems... interesting.

Kate: Ask it of me, and no bar or lock shall impede you!

Judith: Uh… thanks? But wait, why would you-

Kate: Always repay your debts, that’s what the wind tells me! Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

8N9cN30.png

I was gonna ask the same thing!

Okay... TIME TO FIGHT!

k9Hq2v7.png5FQvCKw.png

Cedric, you sacrificed your whole army to block us!

olQB42Y.png

Willow was more of a test than anything. Specifically, I wanted him to switch from his Steel Blade or whatever he had to the Short Spear...

8aLeYv7.png

Cedric: What crimes? What are you talking about?

kdKvdqe.png

Judith: You…you arrogant… I’ll wipe that smirk off your face!

7Y1oPi0.png

And she does. SLAM. So much beautiful damage! Judith is totally the best choice for this fight, though she'll have a hard time hitting if he isn't using the spear.

Cb99yws.png

He's down to 9 HP! Martin might have failed to chip, but whatever.

91Jhyfh.png

Rose too? Dang, I'll have to give the kill to one of my fighters...

POtPXfV.png

What the heck!? WHY CAN NOBODY HIT?

PfkYa6i.png

Willow doesn't fail me, but she doesn't have the power to kill the guy!

bz42qAR.png

Wait... wait... CRAP! I have to kill this guy, NOW!

RdL2dYV.png

All the melee spots are taken! GO, RANGED ATTACKS!

6JG4YEx.png

HOW. DOES. HE. KEEP. DODGING.

krdU1tq.png

CLOVER! IT'S UP TO YOU NOW! YOU'RE THE ONLY ONE LEFT WHO CAN KILL HIM IN TIME!

R7jfCrg.png

SCREW

YOU

CLOVER

WcZ6fqH.png

Not helping my mood!

omU5QHx.png

She hits her other attack, leaving him at 1 HP!

This... this is so horrible! I'm so close, and yet also SO FAR! How could this possibly we worse!?

Wait...

Wait...

No, we can still do this! I HAVE A PLAN!

N1BIjgD.pngX634LZG.png

STEP 1: USE THE TOTALLY COOL STAFF FROM CHAPTER 3

RM9zvtz.png

STEP 2: BRING KATE INTO THE NEWLY OPENED SPOT

eAcAKsj.png

STEP 3: CRY

*bursts into tears*

zha4jya.png

REMEMBER HOW MARKYJOE SAID HE HATED THE CONCEPT OF BOSSES HAVING ELIXIRS

I AGREED WITH HIM BEFORE

BUT NOW I SUPER AGREE WITH HIM

ELIXIRS ARE STUPID CRAP AND SHOULD NOT BE ON BOSSES

qUy7kJ9.png

*sigh* Well... time to start again...

7td3ZO6.pnggMJ70KC.png

Thankfully, this time my units decide to not totally suck. Willow gets the kill, since she's so not-sucky and all.

dDHR3Hw.png

And you'll die regretting this, Cedric.

KDCDKzT.png

OH COME ON!

NF8nQnu.png

Well, that was a terrible way to end this chapter... ugh... this chapter hasn't been bad, but the RNG hasn't been treating me well...

gl4QF9T.png

(This is what was in the chest, BTW)

NEXT TIME: Cedric does-guess it-POLITICAL MANEUVERING!

So, I see you guys have apparently changed your mind on whether I should have done GhebFE or Reqiuem first. All I have to say is; you had your chance! It's a but late now!

The CHAPTER 6 CONCLUSION!

scWFPMa.png

Oh, he's not dead? He doesn't even seem injured. I guess the axes and arrows all just hit his horse.

Richter: Cedric, why would you do it?

Cedric: Are you really so dense? Look at this land! Should my daughter have suffered in this pestilential swamp,

YrbYxTt.png

Remember how Artix mentioned that Richter was a bastard child? This is the first we've heard of it in-game.

And Cedric, you suffered because of YOU, not Richter.

Cedric: I think not!

nfED4OY.png

Richter: Have you any idea what the consequences of that will be?

Cedric: That’s hardly my problem, is it? Remember, YOU killed the Emperor… …Not me

Well, we can make Cedric confess, right?

Richter: Wait…

URAEgvd.pngrkKPXmp.png

Wait, he TOOK POISON!? The same poison he gave to the king!?

ff49TWj.png

Dang, that's actually kind of a clever political maneuver! I mean, incredibly spiteful and suicidal, but clever. Now, we have no way of proving Richter's innocence!

o4i2UFz.pngxYSL5IY.png

...Okay, I see an actual plot hole, or at least some illogicity. Cedric heavily implied that the venom he took here was the same brew he gave to the king. However, in the initial assassination, it took a few minutes for the king to collapse once Vera addressed him. When Cedric and Richter were giving their arguments, plenty of people were in the room. If Cedric had done anything to the king then, everyone would have noticed, so he probably slipped some into the king's food. Here, however, Cedric dies seconds after taking the poison. So, if they were the same poison... how the heck did Cedric assassinate the king!?

BpC1QQS.png

Yeah, Judith! Damn him and all his plot holes!

ptYLTuH.pngCQ3oCFz.png

And we cut to Beatrice and her singular guard. Kinda sudden...

Escort: …So it’s happened, then.

Beatrice: What are you talking about? You can’t be saying he’s…

Escort: …If he did not arrive in an hour, I was to take you and flee Delphus. Those were my orders…

Beatrice: No! He can’t be dead! My father would never fall to these…

Escort: I’m sorry, Lord Beatrice. I have my orders.

WxDbpzB.png

And thus they exit, with Beatrice now thinking we brutally murdered her father.

yIBaZlf.png

And now, for another POLITICS UPDATE! The throne room is looking emptier than ever. They really should get some guards.

QKUF4Gq.png

Well, lady, if you oppose him without listening to reason, yeah!

Lordly lady: Curse him!

Vera: It may not be that simple. My investigation has yielded evidence that may suggest-

nqAtjlN.png

Lordly lady: Cedric is dead by his hands! What other evidence do we need?

Oh, what? Lady, you hired your spymaster specifically for this purpose! Stop being stupid! Particularly since you seem to have literally no other staff left...

Vera: If you would just listen-

Lordly lady: Enough, Spymaster! This is not a game! I want this taken care of, and I want it done now!

Vera: …Yes, my empress.

yWk9WDh.png

Great. Now she's turning paranoid and not listening to anyone. She's becoming villainous fast... The only thing that can save her now is that pretty face!

Lordly lady: Can I trust no one? You, mercenary!

ZYBVgXp.png

Oh, I guess this random mercenary was just hanging around, listening to an important conversation. The portrait is from... FE4, right? Or was it FE6? I wish I had played FE6, so I would know...

Lordly lady: Follow her, and report any suspicious behavior.

Mercenary: Is this about the traitor?

Lordly lady: The same. I believe that she may have sympathies for him. I cannot allow the two of them to join forces.

Mercenary: And if she happens to be a traitor too?

0slAnvQ.png

So... kill Vera? I don't know, she seems quite competent.

ZTWj3pA.png

Are we done?

0NYD3di.png

No? One more cutscene?

y9ZdgTt.png

Since when did Judith start swearing so much? She must be going through her angsty teenager phase.

rtxVQZO.png

This, though, is bad news. Cedric is quite good at burning documents, it seems.

Richter: No… there must be something. A shipping manifest, messages from an apothecary, anything!

Judith: I’m sorry, but there’s just nothing here. Even his daughter seems to have vanished…

Richter: Come to think of it, you’re right. Where has Beatrice gone? Surely, she would know something of her father’s plot.

ecY0gmc.png

Oh no! WHAT'S THE MESSAGE!

TAf7Jwq.png

Uh... I guess we'll find out next time?

NEXT TIME: All political good/evil alignments confirmed!

I said this on the other thread, but I'll say it here too. I'm going on vacation for a few days. I should be back with updates sunday or monday. I think a conclusion would be a good place to leave off.

I'd actually say that there's not any plothole regarding the poison. As you mentioned, Cedric likely had to slip the poison into a drink or a food, which would cause it to metabolize more slowly than a direct dose would. If Cedric cut himself or drank the poison straight, it would go directly into his system and not have to be diluted with anything else, so it would work faster. It's a lot like Cyanide actually; small doses every day mixed-in with a meal can keep someone in a slowly-weakening and dying state for weeks or even months, but the same-sized dose is enough to send someone to the hospital if you were to eat it straight, or worse apply it directly to the bloodstream.

So, not to be that guy but you were worried about the Elixir and you had Kate...attack him? Dude only has 9 speed, we figured that was a giant neon "STEAL ME" sign.

Anyway, so yeah, the plot. You might have noticed a few things are kinda...off. Like Judith swearing and stuff like that. The reason is that basically everything you've seen up until now (and I think parts of Chapter 7) has been a salvage project. To make a long story short, we had a lot of plot issues very early on where we weren't really sure what we wanted to do with the story. We had, at one point, two entirely different outlines, a pair of writers that were working completely separate from the rest of us, we were constantly missing writing deadlines, and when we did get chapters done, it was really obvious that neither party was going to be happy with it. It didn't help that the stuff that they wrote was way more Game of Thrones-y than our stuff and they refused to do any editing until they finished all of Act 1 (which at the rate they were going, was going to be months out) and that...well, suffice to say it didn't exactly help their case. Anyway, tension had been building for a while and when the Chapter 7 script came in, that was kinda the straw that broke the camel's back and we ultimately parted ways with them.

Of course, that still left us with ~6 chapters of script that needed to be...not outright "scrubbed", but we had to do a lot of rewriting to make things fit the mood we were going for. Parts of the script had to be totally thrown out, and the stuff we did keep got a lot of trimming and rewrites. Unfortunately, there was only so much that can be done without going full nuclear so a lot of residual stuff slipped through the cracks. Believe me, you don't want to know what it was like before we redid it. We had shit like Judith kicking Cedric's corpse and Vera motherfucking Smuggington.

DANGIT!!

About the plot... Yeah, I can definitely understand now. That's some crazy backstory for the plot, and actually explains a lot. Game of Thrones: The FE Hack of Dark Darky Darkness? Yeah, I don't think I need to read that.

Sorry anyone who came here hoping for an update, this is my really real last post before I go

The old plot was a civil war that had you winning, then losing, then winning, then losing, then winning maybe? I don't even remember how many times this went around. There were also plans to have a point where managing to win a very odds-stacked-against-you battle in act 1 would lead to an alternative ending path where half of that winning/losing doesn't occur and instead you just go to the final chapters.

It was not very good.

That seems interesting, but I honestly like how the hack is going now better.

I'm really starting to dislike Cassandra. She's behaving like a complete idiot.

Of course, if the whole idea was to make the player want to slap some sense into her, job well done I guess.

Honestly, right now she's acting pretty much insane. I mean, she's at a war, but she got elected a few days/a week ago IU time. The job must have quite a bit of pressure!

The CHAPTER 7 PRELUDE!

jLmOBPB.png

iwifeH5.png

Her court? More like "Just Cassandra", the Spymaster seemed unfazed, and also the only one left in Cassandra's court.

AeQJk3d.png

"crimes"

hrn3p6T.png

N: At the same time, a mercenary group seeking to curry favor with the new Empress moves onto the battlefield…

cUlM0g3.png

Here's Judith and Richter! Not in the capital, but on a new plains map...

ktsmssR.png

Richter: I need to speak to Cassandra. By right of succession, she’d be the new Empress.

hL3kMak.png

I don't see that going well, but it's worth a shot...

Judith: With what proof? We’ve nothing more than our word, and whether or not we killed him, Cedric is dead because of us!

No, he's dead because of himself. He triggered our aggression, and then killed himself when we didn't even plan to do it. I don't think we're really to blame.

Richter: Well, what do you want me to-

gOImw83.png

Yeah, we'll have to do some crazy castle escape mission, probably!

oD1vwxo.pngfrG0Lia.png

Green cavalier?

xfloa3c.png

Oh hey! It's Jake! Hopefully not too mad about the death of Rogier...

Jake: I come on behalf of Lady Vera. She wishes an audience with Lord Richter. If you will follow me…

Qs0oJBz.png

Judith: How do we know this isn’t a trap?

Yeah, this could easily be a trap!

PmLWn8I.png

I guess, apparently, the "master assassin/trickster" is utterly incapable of deception, at least in Richter's mind.

Richter: Still, if it would ease your fears, please accompany me.

Judith: Very well, but please be on your guard.

GA2VUpW.pngxbJOrHB.png

Vera's hiding out in a random house? WHAT HAPPENED TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER?

i0JfHfI.png

Vera: I’m glad that you’re here.

Richter: Vera! What’s happening in the capital? Is my father really…

UOnkug1.pngNpLlWcj.png

VERA. THAT'S NOT HOW YOU BREAK A FAMILY DEATH TO SOMEONE.

FmEDzvS.png

RICHTER. THAT'S NOT HOW YOU REACT TO A FAMIL- Ah, forget it.

(But seriously, is Richter incapable of sadness?)

Vera: The truth is not so simple, I fear. I have evidence suggesting that Cedric was behind your father’s murder, but with his death, Cassandra will hear none of it.

Judith: So if negotiations are off the table, what can we do? Could we maybe appeal to the Senate?

Vera: Ah, you must be Judith.

5gmapy2.png

Glad to see you're the exception, Vera...

Vera: So long as the Empress holds sway, they cannot and will not help us.

wpZI2N9.pngFFm6mj2.png

Richter had an appropriate reaction for once! While I guess with everything that's happened it's not like it was never on the table, it probably won't be so easy to just kill the main leader person!

KY39ZPG.png

Vera: Yes, that is one possibility, though perhaps not the one I would turn to first.

QuI9XuH.png

Uh, is this another "leftover from the original script" thing? Judith is sounding REALLY murder-happy here...

Richter: Judith, please!

Xxr7jR1.png

JUDITH was the one who suggested something!

krrcqz8.pngXCcslZV.png

And then we have this lady, who was apparently listening the WHOLE TIME, with us somehow not noticing her. Did the spymaster forget to leave watchmen or something?

FE4 lady: To think that the Empress would sink so low…

Did I type this wrong? I think it's supposed to be "Spymaster"...

E1A5gi4.png

FE4 lady: If we bring back Richter’s head, there will be rewards for us all!

tnW7cTz.png

Merc: Just give the word!

FE4 lady: Good! Take the pegasi around the mountains and await my signal!

U1sWlrw.png

This person has plenty of ground troops, but she's only interested in commanding the pegasi, apparently.

FftNVBi.pngp46Eqq1.png6H3MPwN.png

Judith: It was only a suggestion. Still, we apparently have friends in high places.

*friend

Niccolo: Then there still is hope. I shall prepare your case!

MjSaFfW.pnge3aBlhS.png

Confrontation!

3FiN8TJ.pngShRBFYR.png

I guess capture was off the table?

yjrZlzA.png

3KFHKim.png

Judith: Stay back, my lord! We can’t afford to lose you now!

Yeah, stay away from this jerk mercenary, and after we've beaten her, Cassandra's going to assume this random mercenary party who she didn't background-check or really know at all was TOTALLY 100% INNOCENT compared to her friend!

(Or at least, that's what I'm guessing. I haven't played quite that far yet.)

vPxJ3w6.png

Vera: I suppose it’s time to cast my lot, then.

KTfaCdc.png

Green dudes! Hurrah!

END DIALOGUE

zCYw4oz.png

This is going to be the biggest Rout chapter yet!

vdw5XDB.png

Here's the team. Note another feature of the updated patch, a very good-looking sword female cavalier sprite! Nice!

NGjCWdS.png

We have a really weird circle-style formation, but hey, it works!

ulQEANs.png?14ujTcl9.png

7XVyNeU.png?1e0lcwBR.png

(Hey! I managed to avoid any white lines!)

So, this map looks bigger than it is, really. There's lots of enemies, but they're going to come at us in waves, and they're easy to handle. Long as you keep the group together and steadily move downwards, they're not a problem to deal with. If Vera's group charged forward, they could probably push straight to the boss and kill her(albeit with a few losses), but really, they're more than content to just sit there and do nothing. They all have "attack enemies in range but don't move" AI.

okU2RSR.pngPNJWEZK.pnghVQTT2p.png

So, she's definitely stronger than Victoria, and she's got the Tier 2 Flight Lance. It still weights her down an itty bit, though, despite the fact that she has more CON than most pegs ever get.

eACf7Uo.png

Her mooks are Darbosians. Come to think of it... we should have Darbosians on our side too! Victoria had some, and after we recruited her they just... disappeared!

KjOdulY.pngsQ2pQzJ.png

Vera's unit is relatively strong, and is packing a new weapon! Pity there's no chance that mage is ever actually going to get to use that weapon against pegasi.

W4vbJjO.png

Vera herself is over there behind all her troops, sitting with that excellent minimug...

9MtkulJ.pngI1v7VlH.png

If we get to recruit her, she'll essentially be Wallace. She's in no danger of death.

(Love that description, by the way)

NEXT TIME: A mage!

There are two possibilities:

1. That is the original owner.

2. The original owners were Cassandra sympathizers.

Looking at who you're bringing, I hope we have an event to force a certain someone into the party after this chapter...

Otherwise,

you need Rose to recruit Fia.

And yeah, Malorie is a recolored Sigune from FE6. We have a number of temporary boss portraits still in the game, hers included. Except with her, since FE6's portrait format is different from FE7's, I had to give her a blinking animation and extra speaking frames to fit what FE7 requires from its portraits.

We cart Fia over to Judith...

cnIkle7.png

Fia: Eek!

*sudden flash of white*

Nlwr5VM.png

Fia: You moron! I was working on that tome for weeks!

Judith: You were what? Who are you anyway?

Fia: Me? I’m Fia, and I’m a magical researcher. Now if you don’t mind, I’ve gotta start scribing again. Sheesh!

e6mWMqc.pngLeWOwj4.png

SW24VYi.png

Let's talk about Fia for a minute. You guys remember Fiora from FE7? Do you remember how, if you weren't lucky enough to bring Florina, you would have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA she needed to come?

This is pretty much the same thing. Rose is needed to recruit her. Judith can try, but she can't succeed. I tried all the other units, and despite there being plenty of custom recruitment convos for most of them so far, this lady only has one!

Really, there should definitely be some cue for this. Rose should appear in the opening cutscene or something. Now, I can't recruit her, because I had absolutely no idea I was supposed to bring her.

At the time of recording, I was considering restarting the chapter to get her, but I was feeling REALLY LAZY, and we're approaching the end of the LP, and we're probably going to get another shot at having her in "Richter mode" or whatever comes after Lyn mode.

So yeah. We're gonna go on without her. Sorry, guys. But, at least now you know and won't fall for the same thing!

We're still alive because YOU SUCK.

qYYznJL.png

A few more enemies come out. Nothing we can't handle.

j3OItqg.pngXeCdvoV.png

Angus goes shopping. He would've grabbed this cool tome, but we can't use it without a mage!

HHbIG2c.pngIOg6HaS.pngovfCTIu.png

This is me, trying EVERYTHING to recruit Fia. No dice.

KHH3lBb.png

Bleh.

Eoaq5rl.png

Great!

JAhYyHm.png

Meh.

(I would show more, but the combat for this chapter isn't that exciting. Mostly just me killing everything.)

uDSjMfr.png

Niccolo gets attacked, but he's still a good, viable character.

BrraaVq.pngCCvToKP.png

More people!

gPQoiQZ.png

Judith will take the pegs.

sfu5Ys1.pngf9POkmv.png

Angus will take shopping duty.

Q56TRcJ.png

!!! Malorie moves! I wasn't quite expecting that! Luckily, my peg is up to the task of fighting her!

E6COZFf.png

The cavaliers get in the way, however, and so most of my units can't reach Malorie!

x08YmNz.png

Everyone attacks June, but she lives because she's good.

ZkCSHXk.png8T2JOlf.png

Oh, hey. A class with a modified description!

gB2JWHm.png

Dangit! Judith can't reach Malorie!

FeuVY77.pngTXs6UqV.png

Almost...

Bj4aSij.png

Victoria DOUBLES Malorie? Really? That's amazing! I mean, she's being weighed down by her weapon, but still!

ekOo5SY.png

Right as I'm about to kill the enemy boss peg with my peg, Victoria decides to prove that she can never be anything but a massive screw-up. Nobody else can kill Malorie, so she'll survive another turn because of this!

FtttbXC.png

Good for us?

6NF6mrf.png

Let's see about that original owner question...

Lbw7xfB.pnggre7ccZ.png

Old dude: We didn’t want this war anyway! Leave us be!

So, the original owner is still around. Vera must have "persuaded" him to give her the house for a bit... I do like this scene a bit, but this war hasn't even been going on for that long! Have the citizens been that badly affected already?

CKX5iYw.png

Despite being a boss and being able to hit essentially our whole team, Malorie is incapable of killing anyone. This lady is honestly quite weak.

9dTGl5J.png

Nope!

ARka6oZ.png

I give Victoria a second try, and she succeeds!

Xzfyvd1.png

And Malorie... doesn't have a death quote? Or a battle quote, come to think of it... is that a bug?

04X60QW.png

Blagh, whatever.

KpPy6Oi.png

Last dude, and he's not going to move. Looks like I have some time to do random stuff on the map!

eNFZW5L.png

And by "random stuff" I mean "attempt to talk to Vera". It doesn't work, for some reason. I kinda feel like there should be a conversation here!

9Tj36zk.pngoXdo52D.png

Ferris once again does an unnecessarily flash finish, and gets EVEN MORE bulky. It's kinda crazy!

The dialogue is really short, so I'm just going to put it here.

NFFwhVo.png

Judith: What then?

Vera: I think you already know the answer to that.

KZdhGEJ.png

Yeah, I don't want to kill Cassandra either! I mean, her face isn't ugly, not a little bit! Surely she must have some redeeming quality?

AOtMfVS.png

xyMziTS.png

JUDITH. YOU SUGGESTED KILLING CASSANDRA. YOU.

YOU CAN'T CALL A PLAN YOU SUGGESTED INSANE.

Judith: All I ever wanted was to protect my village!

Vera: You may very well succeed. Let us see how this tale unfolds…

For all we know, it could have been destroyed while we were away!

nx31KI7.png

And with that... kinda weird ending, we're off to the "Endgame chapters" of Judith/Lyn mode. Or Lategame. Whatever.

NEXT TIME: The worst siege ever

GROWTHS:

Fia:

HP: 70%

Magic: 40%

Skill: 40%

Speed: 55%

Luck: 30%

Defense: 15%

Resistance: 45%

Total: 295%

She definitely doesn't seem like a bad mage. Just an average one, albeit one with very good speed. It's almost a pity we won't get to use her.

Alright, finally time to actually post in here. Moniker, I've read most, if not all, of your LPs up to this point, and they've all been damn entertaining. Thank you for all the laughs.

If you don't mind me asking, how come you can't play FE6? I feel like you've probably given the reason before, but I could be wrong.

So Chapter 7 is an odd one because this is the point where we took over writing full-time, but still had some bits and pieces to work around. The Judith line about killing Cassandra was actually ours, we were trying to inject a little humor into the situation. Sort of like "Well fuck, now what?" "Well we could just kill her and make all our problems go away? :v " Everything you see from here on out is our handiwork, for better or worse. Anyway!

- Vera is intended to be invincible just in case Malorie somehow makes her way over there. She is not recruitable, and there was a conversation planned but we never wrote it? I dunno, it's in the events but commented out.

- And speaking of Malorie, the Zephyr Lance was originally a Killer one. Also she had two more speed, but we dropped it because she was too dangerous with both, and then we ended up taking away both. If you're feeling particularly bold and fed Kate a few levels, it's quite possible to steal her Delphi Shield too.

- So Fia causes some problems because she's your only mage and you have to recruit her with Rose. Fortunately, we're not mean and we did actually did put in an event after the chapter ends that automatically recruits her! ...If she's already an ally? Who the hell coded this up? *facepalm*

Cue Judith trying to recruit Fia and not taking no for an answer... even after she says yes.
