DTilt: Mega Man Utilt: Definitely unique Dash Attack: Marth FSmash: Unique DSmash: Unique (kinda like Marth's but different) USmash: Shulk's Utilt (amazing) Nair: Ike Fair: Shulk (but apparently spikes) Bair: Like everyone with a sword Dair: Roy Upair: Ike's utilt in the air Neutral B: Unique Side B: Unique Up B: Kirby + Shulk Down B: Unique Definitely a ripoff. Haha, his ftilt is based on his FF7 animation which is probably why its familiar. I guess I can see where people draw some similarities, what amuses me is the jab he does two kicks before the sword swing. I'd say his dash attack is like Link's old one before Smash 4 tbh. I feel like all the Omnislash complaints would disappear if Cloud stayed on the ground or something. Don't really understand why people are even upset about it anyway. Cloud's design is like this a little coming from previous comments saying where the moves are taken from, but I'm pretty sure all characters have one or two moves that are the same as each character. Frenzify Posted November 26, 2015 Share Posted November 26, 2015 I never played FFVII, and the only FF games I played were the XIII series (and I loved them, too, so, I'm probably not winning any points with the FF fandom), so I don't really care either way if Cloud is in Smash. But the fact that I barely know a thing about FF, besides the XIII games, but still know of Cloud, kind of works in the game's favour, seeing as it's sure to draw in some FF fans. Will it make a significant number of FF fans buy they game, for just one character? I have my doubts, but I only play two characters in Smash, so it isn't that out there that others will come into the game to just play Cloud. I honestly do not care in the slightest about Cloud's inclusion in the game. I never played the game. I have no attachment or nostalgia for the character. But it's hard to say it was a bad decision to include him, considering his popularity. And like others have said as unexpected as it was, at least it was an FF character that people actually love. Snake is totally a clone of Dr Eggman, due to his resentment of Sonic and being voiced by him in Japan! I mean tons of explosives?
