47948201
I've uh never imported anything, does anyone with experience with these know how much over the ¥5800 it'll cost to order it to California? quasimopho13
It's discounted to I 4640 on the link Kirie sent (AmiAmi)). Might be about $50-60 total including shipping and tax. The dollar and yen seem to be roughly equivalent right now. $1 roughly equals 100 yen. A good way to estimate cost is to move the decimal 2 places to the left when converting yen to $ and 2 places to the right when converting $ to yen The way AmiAmi works is you place an order, but they don't calculate shipping or charge you until they are ready to ship. You do still provide debit/credit card info though. Once the item is ready, they email you asking for payment and provide a total cost (in yen I think). You then have, I believe, 4 days to a week to make payment. Once you pay, they will ship your order. Does that answer your question? 47948201
Oh shoot cool I didn't even think of checking the above link, but I'm really glad you pointed that out to me! I was referring more to import costs but that 20% off makes me care a lot less so whee~
quasimopho13
Good to know. AmiAmi is great for buying figures because they usually offer a sizable discount. The interface takes some getting used to (such as editing payment/shipping info after a purchase if necessary), but the store is great for buying these types of things. Draxal
Thanks! Is there any word on the Kamui figma? Not going to be any for a while. Elise was first shown of at Winter Wonfes, in February and wasn't seen again until now.
quasimopho13
Yeah, makes sense. Right now, it just shows her game artwork for the figma likely as a placeholder. They often show the gray sculpture first right? If that's the case, may be a bit. Glad that they announced it and finally made it real though ^^ I bet it comes with all 7 Yato forms. Good Smile seems to be great at capturing details as evidence by the Lucina figma's mask/hair options and Elise's heal staff/effects and pony. Hardin
Figmas also take quite a bit longer to go from initial announcement to prototype showing, so we might not even see her until this time next year. In an extreme case, the Zero Suit Samus figma was announced in February 2014, but a prototype wasn't shown until February of this year! quasimopho13
If they cut out some of the extras, would that speed up the process? For example, I don't think a Takumi figma really needs his clothes. Just ship him naked ^^
twistedxgrace
I'd rather a Takumi figma than Corrin to be honest, but alas, they seem to find Corrin more profitable at the moment.
