I finally want to overcome my laziness and complete a round based RPG, which isn't Fire Emblem of a Shin Megami Tensei spin-off.

I try my luck with Mother 3.

I've heared and read only good things about this game.

I played a bit of chapter 1 yet to understand basics of the gameplay, but I'm going to play it from the very beginning all over again.

It'll be 99% blind.

Since I don't know anything about this series, I will welcome each hint from you (which I will need anyways).

I know absolutely nothing about any special attacks or casts in this game.

If there's a way to beat a boss or sth. else in an easier way, I'd like it to know.

I'd like to wait for a few days to get a feedback

I used to not like this game as much when I initially played it, but I think I'll give it a second chance here. As for the names...hmm...can I suggest the following?

Father: Banjo (from the Australian outback-theme poet, Banjo Patterson)

Mother: Betty

Older brother: Ned (from Ned Kelly)

Younger brother: Nat

Dog: I can't figure this one out.

Just out of curiosity, I used the following names when I played years ago:

Father: Robert (from an alumni from my old high school)

Mother: Hinawa (default)

Older: My actual name

Younger: Shi-sei (a Japanese pronounciation of an old high school friend from Hong Kong)

Kumatora: Ko-sen (a Japanese pronounciation of my old high school's concert band mate from China)

I still need to get around to playing Mother 3, I played Earthbound when it came out on the New 3ds store and enjoyed it, I didn't play it for so long due to the hype it got from it's US fanbase. But the I started Mother1/Earthbound Beginnings and sorta stopped half way through...

As for names

Father: Liam Neeson

Mother: Aries

Older Brother: Siiva

Younger Brother: Gunner

Dog: Dank

Sorry I normally play with the "I don't care" Choice for 'Canonical' names, which led to me googling the names for Mother 1

I'm going to start this LP when I have completed an other game I'm playing right now.

It should be done till next week and then I have the time to play Mother 3.

Edit: I asked for closing it for now, because I have no WLAN at home anymore.

Since I'm doing another LP atm I don't have the time in the university to do two LPs at the same time.

If my WLAN is fixed, I'll let it reopen.
