Samz707
Unless the repair staff gets suddenly really common later on. (assuming it's in Awakening), is there really no way to just repair stuff in forges? the upgrades get kinda expensive fast.
null
The only way to repair weapons in Awakening is with the Hammerne staff as you mentioned. No blacksmith or forges to do that for you. But you should eventually get enough money to buy as many weapons as you need. Funds start to flow freely as you progress. TheSilentChloey
Pretty much you don't have the ability to repair weapons in Awakening and the Hammerne staff isn't common at all. However, if you get new items and use the 'restock all' option you'll be able to restock the uses of your weapons provided you have enough copies of said weapons. Also the skill Armsthrift (learned exclusively by Mercenaries) will save you weapon uses. It is your friend during the main game.
Shadow Mir
The Hammerne staff can repair weapons. It only has one use, though. However, merchants can potentially carry it.

The 6 Hammernes obtained before Chapter 10 in my most recent playthrough say otherwise. I love Event Tiles when I'm XP grinding. But yeah, Chloey's right, make full use of Armsthrift, it's almost a must-have if you intend to use weapons a lot because it has a really high proc rate compared to most other skills. ciphertul
Just for clearity armthrift has LuckX2 activation rate, so once you get about 35+ luck you can start reliving on forged weapons as the take forever to break, and if you have Limitbreaker anyone over 50 has unbreakable weapons, it sadly doesn’t work on staffs.
