You can't deny the 2nd one is flawless, HoT fixed it up it looks so beautiful ;w; and it kind of tells me what I need to work on which is everything lol; trees, mountains, paths, and grass.

The river seems too straight in the first one, it should look more random. The pathways are all really stubby and go down from villages which doesn't look random enough either. The second one's pretty good except there are no transitions between the flat sand and rough desert (middle of the map at the top).

Basically my thoughts on the first map, although a straight river isn't bad, it just looks unnatural there. Some of the mountains are cut off, while others look quite good, which surprises me because of inconsistency... Ignore me, I'm fading into another tangent...

Don't really have any comments on the desert map, since I hate them quite a bit xD The transition tiles would be nice, yes, but I think you'd have to make tiles for it to actually be possible.

I added the river to suggest that part of the map is very special ^^' but it does look ugly, and how exactly are those grass tiles supposed to be aligned? I put them in random order, no wonder they're so ugly.

and its supposed to be a Seize different Places map (like Ch.25H in FE7) and save as many villages as you can map can you tell? :3

Well grass paths work the same as regular paths for the most part, just grass paths are generally much larger.

I can't really explain via typing lol if you were on skype still this would be easier..., but it's the same basic principle as normal paths.

Of course, paths in general are difficult to look right... eh I'm such a fail

2 basic ideas for animation ^^' Based on older dancers/mage knights:

Mage Knights is using ranger class animation, because imo Rangers could use Rath's/Sue's class animation instead.

and Dancer using skeleton's animations, those legs are hard to work with.

Hair and Chin are pillowed all the way across the sky. Headband has no definition whatsoever.

I really don't think you're ready for FCing yet, I'd keep splicing until you think know how the sprites shading and anatomy. After every, say 1-2 months, try your hand at it again.

QQ is it her face thats weird or is it the horrible shading/pillowing?

My first custom ^^', she's based off Sylvis from Berwick Saga (but she doesn't look like her QQ). What class does she fit best?

That... actually looks pretty good for someone's full custom sprite. Obviously, you still need more practice but if this is your first attempt at FC, I'm sure you could make some really amazing ones in the future.

This looks like a nice improvement. Her face doesn't look weird, unless you didn't want her to look timid. But yeah, it still needs more shading and pillowing, which will probably take quite a while...

It's pretty much the whole thing. The face looks the best out of all of it, but the nose is undefined, and the shading around the face is bleh. And her eyes don't match, which is really weird. They shouldn't be identical in shading, but the difference between them shouldn't be that apparent.

The hair shading is so magnificently pillowed and unrefined. Good effort, but... it's really not that good, sorry.

I agree that it's not bad, for a first attempt at FC.

It's not help when it's wrong. All that does is slow someone down. Go white knight elsewhere.
