I am going to be starting a fresh play through in a few days. I beat it a while ago, so now I want to do a slower different team play through and such, may even do hard mode...

Hey guys, I am newer to the series. I know awakening is very deep, but how many play throughs would be smart to get a lot of the mechanics down? Also, I will be getting the dlc in small pack format, maybe one or two at a time. When should I start attempting these? I will be playing on "normal" mode where if they die, they die, but not lunatic mode yet. :)

I am tempted to grab this on the eshop tomorrow before the sale goes off. It is $29 right now. Any thoughts on whether I should get a hard copy or just go digital? I am wanting to get into this series more after playing devil survivor several years ago.

Yeah I know...sorry it was late when I posted and I didn't get a chance to sit down and read through all of them. I was going to try to get through them this afternoon after work. With kids, life and other things my forum and game time are limited. Sorry, didn't mean to sound lazy.

Not to jump on someone else's topic, but is there a way to list some of the recommended DS/3DS RPGS that are must plays? I have a wii u also, but most of my gameplay is 3ds. Anyways, I currently have (not necessarily played or beat): Etrian odyssey IV ETrian Odyssey Untold Fire emblem awakening Pokemon x Mario and luigi dream team Not a huge start but enough hours to last a while, but are there any past rpg games that I should pick up in the future for my 3DS?

Well, I am just starting awakening for the first time so I have a long way to go through this game alone :)

Wasn't sure if this was asked or not so sorry, but with being able to get Torchi as a wifi download, what should my two in game starters be for the most part? I haven't played a pokemon game since game boy days in high school. So I have missed a lot. Also would it be wise to go back and play through some of the DS POKEMON games at some point for the rarer pokemon? Like soul silver, platinum, black/white, etc?

Well, I enjoy most any good ds/3ds rpg. I have not played a Fire Emblem game before. I kept seeing them, but never picked them up. I have been into RPGs since dragon warrior on the nes. Anyways, I look forward to learning the ropes of this HUGE SRPG. I feel a bit overwhelmed going in but I know with some time I will be able to master it. :). Look forward to meeting everyone here, and getting some good info on beginner strategies and more. My current game info is in my signature.
