    I didn't have this hard decision because about 1/3 of the Nohr cast died (four in the final chapter).

    There's absolute no need to use bexp. on Soren and Ilyana. Even base level Soren can double enemies with steel weapons (orko with adept). After a few levels he'll be on the ball. And there's no need to waste bexp. on Jill, Marcia and Boyd either since a forged weapon covers strength and skill issues and FE9 gives you enough money.

    Don't worry! It'll become even more later on. Yeah, this game is a bit text heavy but it's a proof for me that the developers invested some effort in the characters' personality. Honestly I found some of the dialouges really funny. BTW this game also features a defend chapter in the second half of the game, a real tough one.

    You didn't really have to play PXZ1 to enjoy 2. The prequel was alright but I never have been interested in replaying it. 2 so has so many new mechanics like separating player and enemy phase, attacking side affects the damage and the introduction of FP. Counterattacks are much better in 2 because you have to pay with FP and not with XP anymore.

    Oh nice. Hopefully you enjoy it so far. Idk if you have played the prequel but 2 is improved quite a lot gameplaywise.

    Ok, beaten the endgame but it became a little massacre (Elise, Leo, Azura and Percy died). Lost four units because reinforcements caught me up. Could beat him in turn 3. Arthur could oneround Takumi with a crit which he didn't unfortunately so I had to use two other pairings. Literally with my last possible attacking unit in the person of Corrin I could beat him. PS: I totally forgot to give the status drinks to my units in the battle preparations. This thread can be locked now.
