  1. Hey guys, does anyone have any of the following?

    Ophelia - Certain Blow/Miracle

    Orochi - Vantage

    Kagero - Lucky Seven

Anyone have Odin with Bowbreaker. That might be hard to get.

I probably should have asked in my earlier post too, but does anyone have Effie with Aptitude, Darting Blow, or Swordfaire/Lancefaire/Axefaire?

    Put all these up.

  2. I scoured skill castles for weeks (basically go down the top castles top to bottom and/or cultivate a card list full of frequently-rotating castles), then went to the skill request threads here and on GameFAQs and just filled requests for people. VP is relatively easy to get because it's hard for someone to avoid giving it to you, but it's not always clear whether someone is going to battle you. I got BP much, much faster once I started providing skills for people on request, because it guarantees at least one visit very soon and generally other people drop by to pick up the same skill since they see the post about it.

    >10k in both categories now, it's pretty sweet, but I had the Visitor Seal for like a month and a half before I got the Battle Seal. It also expands your characters' skill lists and helps other people build their own BP/VP. Granted I'm also willing to auto-grind Ghostly Gold for the probably hundred million gold I've spent on skills already, but you don't have to do that to gain BP/VP, just win and recruit a unit or skip recruitment altogether and leave feedback.

It also helps to find a double Bootsed Einherjar with Mov+1 and Pair Up them with a +1 Mov unit; at 12 Mov you can reach pretty much any throne in two turns which reduces RL time taken seizing. I found a Sky Knight Azura!Siegbert with 10 Mov / Mov+1 / Pass in some castle and just use him as my primary seizer, though I could do the same with my Corrin now that she's got two Boots. In fact, if people really need something like that I can probably swap her over to a flyer and give her Mov +1 / Pass / Galeforce or something for 1-2 turn seizes.

  3. The sole advantage I can think of for MoA is that it doesn't count as Armored. I don't know how often you're going to be running into Armorslayers and Hammers to have that be a meaningful edge over Great Knight's movement advantage. In PvP it might be trivial for someone to pack one of those, but Effie in a tanky role is not really an appropriate PvP option to begin with so if you're running her at all you're doing it for her Strength and Puissance and not durability and there are probably much better classes to look at.

  4. I would also like Swordfaire for Nina, whom I have her as a Great Lord.

Couldn't help you with Anna but Nina's up with Swordfaire and some other stuff.

Hi, I am looking for Oni Savage and Apothecary skills for MU. I have the promotion skills, but I don't have the base skills. Could anybody help me out?

I'm almost positive I have all the other skills in the game on my avatar, so if you want to trade off for something you don't have, I can make it happen.

Put up my Avatar with Seal Resistance / Shove / Potent Potion / Quick Salve. I presume you meant the unpromoted skills.

    Looking for the following:

    Lancefaire on Effie

    Swordfaire on Selena and Laslow

    Lancefaire and Swordfaire on Silas

    Gotcha covered.

EDIT: Also this is tangentially related, but I might be starting my Lunatic Birthright/Conquest playthroughs finally for the gold emblems on my card. I was thinking of, at least for BR, just doing ridiculously stupid pairings in order to pick up unusual skillsets for characters who would almost never otherwise get them. Certainly I've seen castles with obscure skills, and picked them as clean as I could, but there's still bound to be extremely uncommon ones out there. If you can think of a pairing that might produce useful class spreading-round, even if it's EXTREMELY stupid, let me know; I'm talking things like "I never see Sophie with Diviner skills, marry Silas to Orochi." I'll have to look carefully at what people can A+ though because e.g. there's never any point marrying Sakura and Silas since Sophie can A+ Mitama.

  5. Anyone have mozu with gamble?

Rahjat with spendthrift and life and death?

Can I get Jakob with Aegis and Pavise?

I'm looking for Bowfaire and Aptitude for Anna Certain Blow on Hana

I'm looking for a few things: arthur with axefaire ... peri with swordfaire

Keaton with Quixotic, Rend Heaven and Replicate (mainly Replicate though)

Looking for Ignatius with Swordfaire, please!

    All these are up now.

  6. Looking for Rend Heaven on Ignatius and Selkie.

    Edit: Also Lancefaire on Selkie.

    These are up.

Currently looking for Kaze with Grisly Wound, Savage Blow, and Replicate.

Got you covered with those (plus some filler).

I just now realized this thread existed xD

Anyways, I need these for Asugi

    Aptitude

    Hoshidan Unity

    Rend Heaven

    Axe-Breaker

    CounterMagic

Although, I only need 1 of either Axe-Breaker or CounterMagic, cuz if I get at least one of those, I can pass the other down with Saizo since he has both

Someone got the rest, so I put him up with Axebreaker and Countermagic.

    Hi I am looking for:

Laslow - All rallies except strength

    Flora - Sol,Pavise,Aegis

    Midori - Sol,Aether,Miracle

Been looking for awhile for these so any help would be appreciated, Thanks.

All up except Aether on Midori because you can't buy Aether from a castle. You'll need to get a scroll from Vanguard Dawn or make her a Great Lord if you want her to learn it.

Looking for anna with aptitude, lethality, pavise, aegis and replicate

    She's up.

  7. Anyone have Caeldori with Spendthrift and Certain Blow, and FCorrin with Spendthrift?

Spendthrift no, but I put Caeldori up with Certain Blow and Corrin with Spendthrift.

Does anyone have Peri and Beruka with Bowbreaker?

    Both up.

  8. Not counting Nohr parallel classes or Hoshidan inheritance from people who already do that (i.e. Kaze passing Ninja), I think that's it.

Selena passing Sky Knight to Sophie/Soleil isn't technically an example of a parallel class, either; Sky Knight just happens to be Selena's secondary class and is passed to kids that already have Mercenary. Same thing with Azura only it works like her primary since Songstress is uninheritable. The only true case of a parallel class Sky Knight inheritance is Arthur x Beruka, because Beruka's class set is exactly the same as Percy's.

As noted, Keaton gives Outlaw because Wolfskin is considered his primary for parallel inheritance, but it should be possible to give Oni Savage to Arthur -- via parallel classing specifically, since you could also just take Oni Savage as your Talent -- by marrying him with a female Corrin who has a Fighter Talent. Nohr Princess is ignored for the husband and Arthur should therefore check Fighter and parallel it. This doesn't work for Percy, since children can inherit Nohr Prince(ss), and he won't get Oni Savage. Similar thing happens with the beasts and Mozu where their spouse gets the secondary (Diviner from Kaden, Fighter from Keaton, Archer from Mozu) and their kids inherit the primary.

  9. Still looking for Ryoma with Sol. Now also seeking Rhajat with Certain Blow and/or Quixotic. Thanks!

Put Ryoma up with Trample / Sol / Luna / Pavise / Aegis and Rhajat with Quixotic / Certain Blow / Heartseeker / Lancebreaker / Shurikenbreaker.

  10. Looking for Niles with Lifetaker.

Orochi:darting blow, life and death and miracle?

Anyone have Armored Blow for Xander...and Kaze?

    All are up.

    Kiragi: Pavise

    Mozu: Quick Salve

    Asugi: Pavise

    As are these.

EDIT: Anyone got Nohrian Trust on Hinoka or Nyx?

  11. Does anyone have a Shiro with Spendthrift? I made the mistake of S-supporting Midori with Forrest, so no matter if I make a new file or not, my only way of getting Spendthrift on any male G2 units has been sealed permanently for the most part.

(Additionally, if you happen to have a Tomebreaker / Spendthrift Shiro, that'd be even better, but it's not a big priority.)

Shiro's up with Spendthrift and some other stuff, though no Tomebreaker.

anyone have wary fighter for the avatar?

If you still haven't found this, I have mine up with Wary Fighter.

Gunter is also up with Astra / Rend Heaven / Life and Death / Certain Blow / Tomebreaker.

Hey, I'm looking for a Kaden with Renewal and Countermagic, and a Rinkah with Tomefaire. My Castle code is 15235-91681-51626-81473. Thanks!

I went to the trouble of doing this a while back, got Rinkah with the Diviner skillset up now.

M.Kana Aptitude, Death blow, Miracle, Aegis, Pavise

Could've sworn I had all of these but I don't have Miracle/Aegis either. The others are up.

  12. I married him to a tanky character, so he can let her fight on the EP and then swap to activate his personal and do offensive work. Not really a "build" concern, but I think it's a good idea to consider how you're activating Noble Cause since Shiro almost always wants the extra damage over the mild downside.

  13. Looking for Caeldori with Lifetaker and Bowfaire.

    Looking for the following:

    Pavise Corrin and Anna

    Amaterasu Azura

    I have some requests please:

    Takumi: Hoshidan Unity

An update from my previous post. All I need on Midori now is Sol. As for Shigure, Future Sight and Nobility to complete him.

Everything listed is up except Future Sight for Shigure which I didn't have.

  14. In theory, if someone attacks a Counter/Countermagic Nyx with magic at 1 range, she does 2.5x the damage she's taken back, and even if they attack at 2 range she does 1.5x back.

The question now is: What counts as "damage dealt" for the purposes of reflection when Miracle comes into play? Say a Miracle Azama, unarmed and attacked by a magic weapon at 1 range with Counter/Countermagic/Divine Retribution. If the weapon crits for triple digit damage, but then he's saved by Miracle or Kaze's personal, does he do the full critical damage *2.5, or does he do his Max HP - 1? Assuming the latter case, a General Azama with HP+5 (easily obtained on Rev by buddying Arthur and marrying Effie) can do ~172 damage back to an attacker, kills any unit that does 30 1 range magical damage to him, and kills any unit that does at least 50 melee damage to him. Assuming the former case... his potential damage is astronomical, limited only by how hard you could hit him.

  15. Right. Mozu and Mozu's child can access Villager. Mozu's husband cannot; she passes Archer to him instead. If Mozu marries Niles, for example, then Niles gets Sniper/Kinshi, but Nina gets Merchant/Master of Arms.

The same is technically true of the other non-Songstress special classes. Corrin's kids get Noble but his/her spouse does not, Kaden/Keaton pass their beast classes to their kids but not to their wives. Mozu is actually a normal case for special classes; it's Azura that's the exception as Songstress is absolutely locked to her (well, absent hacking).

  16. Basically any time you learn a skill the game checks whether you can learn any skills in the class trees you have access to. It then teaches you the lowest-level skill you don't already have.

Jakob has Cavalier (Paladin/Great Knight) but not Knight (General/Great Knight). If he switches to a Great Knight at lv5 and levels to 7, he'll learn Shelter and Elbow Room since those are Cavalier skills. Next on the list should be Luna, but if he marries Effie as people have already said he gains access to Knight retroactively and the skill learning list goes from [Luna] to [Defense +2, Natural Cover, Luna] and he'll have to level all the way to 10 to learn Luna. If you level him to 8 before marrying Effie he'll learn Luna, and then if they get married he'll learn Knight unpromoted skills.

This only works when a class is shared (GK by Knight/Cavalier, Merchant by Villager/Apothecary, Onmyoji by Shrine Maiden/Monk/Diviner, Basara by Diviner/Spear Fighter, etc.). If Jakob is a Paladin he won't learn the Knight skills since Paladin isn't in the Knight tree. But then he wouldn't learn Luna either since that's a Great Knight skill.

  17. Anyone got Jakob with tomefaire?

    I do, he's up.

So here are the skills I need.

    Shigure

    • Rally Defense
    • Aegis
    • Lancefaire
    • Voice of Peace
    • Foreign Princess

    Midori

    • Foreign Princess
    • Dragon Ward
    • Nohrian Trust
    • Good Fortune
    • Miracle

    Kagero

    • Luna
    • Grisly Wound
    • Armored Blow
    • Warding Blow
    • Savage Blow

These three are up with the above.

    shurikenfaire Forrest WHERE

Here! Well, in my castle. Up with all the non-Tomefaires.

    I need:

    Oboro: Astra, Aegis, Replicate

    Mozu: Pavise

    Asugi: Astra, Dragon Fang

    Sophie: Astra, Aptitude

    Please.

    All up!

  18. Haitaka is legitimately good. Decent growths where it counts, comes early enough to matter, rallies defense when no one else would, only Spear Master you're getting in CQ without a Talent, native access to Quixotic, Lancefaire, and Rend Heaven which many characters would kill for. Kumagera's also decent for when he can be caught. Amazing skills, decent mixed attacker. Though you have to be realistic about it, these guys are still captured units and not as good as most regular units. The fact that Haitaka and Kumagera have obscure Hoshidan classes does give them a certain niche, however.

    For Paralogue capturables:

    • Gazak is a Berserker with surprisingly good bulk, Certain Blow, and Pavise. Whether he can be that useful depends a great deal on when you do Forrest's Paralogue though.
    • Same deal with Zhara to a lesser extent, he can be a Bow Knight with Sol and Pass. Having access to a mount, Pass, and Shurikenbreaker has potential in CQ, but he's not spectacular statistically.
    • Funke is like a lesser Zhara but he can get Movement +1 I guess (and he's better than Candace in that he can reclass to Bow Knight). He's one of the better BR capturables simply because most of them are stuck with their baseline kit and he can supplement the good Adventurer set with some scroll skills if you really want to do that.
    • Senno is the only named capturable with access to Replicate and Hidden Weapons, and he has pretty good growths and is part of a map you usually want to hit early (Ophelia's).
  19. Not sure of difficulty but on Revelation I wouldn't grind Challenges because units get forges and skills and they're kind of dumb like that. DLC maps are the way to go in terms of viable exp returns and other rewards (Gold from Boo Camp, scrolls from the trial maps, etc.). Doing runs of Plains of Hoshido (ch6) for weapon rank is effective and not too expensive, which is a good way to reach C rank for magic weapons on characters that are Magic-biased.

Another thing to consider is whether a character is salvageable in their deficient stat. I didn't bother grinding up Xander and Ryoma's Magic for example because it just isn't worth the bother (and it could theoretically help them if faced by a Rend Heaven enemy I guess), but for characters with some degree of Magic growth the trick is to get them a class with good growth (easy for females because Witch) and just kind of pound it out; I use endgame Witches' Trial as it takes a unit through 5 levels guaranteed as long as they're strong enough to solo the map with a Corrin backpack. Strength is easier because there are more classes with high Strength growth, so you might consider something like picking up the Knight tree for Nyx via A+ Effie to get General for her HP, Strength, and Defense; grind out a weapon rank of choice to C on an easy Challenge and go from there.

For Revelation specifically, unpromoted units can get a shot in the arm from Destroyed Town (ch13ish?). The start point for that Challenge is in the little southern courtyard that has only one entrance. Because of this, you can put the unit you want to grind there paired up with Supportive Corrin, feed them Tonics, and park Hinoka/Sakura/Elise/Camilla near them (though Elise and Camilla may get targeted by 2-rangers so be aware of that). That will take any unit to 16-18 pretty easily and then Sevenfold Sanctuary can get them to 20. From there having them pick off things in Boo Camp to 20/20 works pretty well for me. After that I switch to Witches' Trial. Focus on their HP/Defense first since a unit like Nyx can always go Witch later and rocket her Magic back up to par but will have a much harder time grinding with low HP.

Oh and it goes without saying but if you're grinding get Aptitude on everybody.
