(Yes, I know how to insert a custom battle sprite and do all that stuff but I just don't understand when it's a unique custom sprite you want to use for one character that doesn't have a unique class) Alright, so you know how Lloyd, Legault, Isadora, Raven, etc., etc. have their custom animations? Yeah, so they each have their own Nightmare module, and you can change who has which custom battle sprite in the Character Editor module. What I don't get is... am I supposed to "connect" the two modules together? Like say, I insert my custom animation, and want it specifically for one character... how do I do that? Or am I supposed to replace one of the existing custom animation sprite modules? I'm really not sure. I don't want to have to create a new class just to have a custom battle sprite for one character. IS MY QUESTION CLEAR? I feel like it might sound confusing. So like Lucius has a 0x01 custom battle sprite, and it goes up to Hawkeye, who has a 0x10 battle sprite. I just don't understand how can I fill the 0x11 area in and where do I do that? I am so perplexed by this whole thing maybe I didn't study it well enough.

I was going to use this for Joshua, but Levin Alaude made one that's more fitting for him. I'm not quite sure where I'm putting this guy yet, but he's either gonna be mercernary/myrmidon/swordmaster--who knows. Perhaps I'll end up going with something completely different. Here he is!

DISREGARD. I thought the patch wasn't working haha. Looking forward to trying this out!! Actually... there is a glitch as soon as I start the game. Not sure what's going on but it freezes after it shows the chapter title for 1-1. Agh, typical Avril being dumb. I found out the ROM isn't clean.

I updated my post and made about 4 more mugs! I also added in the "What I need" section where those mugs will be used. Also, I am wondering if this mug's left eye looks weird to anyone? For a moment it looks normal, but for another moment is looks like he's lacking a feature that needs to be there. I know there's no white in that eye, but the character I spliced it from's eyes are pretty much that way. EDIT: See now I feel like his eyes look fine. I can't make up my mind!

K yeah, that looks good, but it's just lacking uniqueness (it's so LimSonia right now haha). It could be used as placeholder, however, I don't think honestly I'm going to use it for even that haha :S I very much appreciate the reply though! I'm just not really looking for placeholders, I can just use the original portraits for that, even though it's a little weird! I think I'd pay for something that looks more unique and would for sure be added to the project. Keep up the work! :)

Alright, I've set up the first post to be quite a bit more descriptive as to what I want/need. I don't really know a good way to pay people except for an e-transfer type of thing. Or perhaps PayPal? Well, I want to speed up the process... haha I have a lot of other things that I am busy with aside from this project. I haven't even really touched my project in a week due to other life things :( which makes me really sad. And also mugs have been holding me up. And DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT THE THIRD ONE AAGGHHH NOW IT'S KIND OF BOTHERING ME. If someone wants to fix that I guess they can. So ya that's why I need some help haha Like making the closing eyes and talking mouth stuff takes a lot of time too so that's why I'm hoping people will help and do that for me :P Also the FE7 and FE8 thing I noticed as well. That can easily be fixed and will make sure they have the same kind of design. This is the rough stage.

And yes, I was going to pay the creators of the portraits, however I offered a couple people and they told me that it was not something that I should feel like I need to do. But hey, you know what, that's hard work sometimes and I feel like whoever contributes deserves some $$$$$! I did. But I'm scared :S haha just kidding. I will. I'm such a anti-spoiler person I really like keeping my stuff secret haha. I'm dumb though. My hack isn't any more special than anyone else's. It doesn't matter. Just as long as they look legit. I've seen some and, not going to lie, they are bad. I don't want to give you an example because I feel like that's kind of mean, but I really like Midnight Sun's mugs--those look legit. Or the people in Bloodlines, obviously a bunch of animal customs are there... I don't know who has the talent to create all of those but damn that is some impressive-ass shit. Weeeelllll I just thought seeing as it is presented to you literally right after you start a new game, I found it okay to leave out of the screenshots section. We'll see how I feel about displaying it later. and I could get a room but i'd rather have everyone watch. tee hee

I haven't. That's not what I meant. Thank you for correcting me. I just meant that I'm going to continue my story with the characters there are now if I don't receive any offers for help soon. I do plan on adding characters to the story, but I just don't plan on replacing all of them (well, not really anymore). If, say I am 8 chapters in, and I have already used the original characters' names, I'm not going to feel as inclined to replace them. Because then I'll have to go back and readjust every character for the story, throughout the story. Hopefully that makes sense. Really not liking the delay on my project right now. I hope people are not too disappointed with the fact that there aren't new mugs. I'm really trying to make up for it with hopefully an enjoyable playthrough and story! New characters may come later though. (Am still looking for offers though!)
