I finally bit the bullet and made a serenes account :P I've been a huge fan of FE ever since 7 came out in 2003, and I've actually played all of the games in the series (although I'm not knowledgeable about them pre 7, and I'm only meh on 6) so yeah. Looking forward to being a less lurky part of the fanbase.

Howdy, for Mac users path = r'data\%s\%s.json' % (ver.NAME, key) should be path = r'data/%s/%s.json' % (ver.NAME, key). Other than that this works beautifully and is awesome. Also, is 'apply' also supposed to create the r_fe7.gba or is it just 'close' that does that? Apply doesn't seem to do anything (on the mac.) Is there a way to capitalize the first s of shoes? That's really bugging me. Nevermind, I was referring to my screen name, figured it out.
