I'm going to have to agree with Chiki here, so no, I did not have a problem with it. Since someone said that the children could potentially be under 18, remember that the age of consent is 13 in Japan (that's one reason why localisations in general lift the ages of 15-year old fanservice characters' to 18), meaning that they would canonically most likely surpass the (whichever particular country's respective) age of consent in the western releases just to avoid any implications of pedophilia.

Through excessive arena abusing I have gotten Ray up there iirc, though it wasn't particularly practical. Leveling weapon ranks overall was so exhausting in FE6 that I seldom got anyone's secondary weapon rank to a formidable level. Besides, I usually already have two primary healers with A/S staff ranks so the need for another one doesn't really ever arise.

Playing emulated games on a PC with a controller is extremely easy. Though it is understandable if emulation in general cripples someone's enjoyment of a game. I don't think an official release in any given form would be a bad thing at all. As long as they wouldn't censor any major plot points (as gross as they may be, they really do contribute to the game's disturbingness (if that's a word) value, which is a major factor when considering the impact of the game) I would purchase a VC release happily even if I have played though the game with the translation patch. IMO more localized FE games can never be a bad thing.

I actually used about a billion Arms Scrolls to get Ike SS rank in axes. And then forgot to bless Urvan anyway. Oh, and I didn't even think of putting Nihil on Caineghis when fighting Deghinsea which resulted in me losing him and since I somehow never realized that I could do Battle Saves on Normal, I just decided to go on without him. I was pretty satisfied with the overall playthrough considering it was my first playthrough of the game, but thinking in retrospect the amount of casualties I suffered in Part 4 Endgame was outright horrible.

I can't really see FE4 being localized in 1996 with all the incest issues (even though they weren't endorsing any practices of such and they were originally planning to address the issues in the planned 3rd part of the game) since it would have required from them heavy alteration of the game's narrative. I think FE5 would've also had some controversial elements on top of it being released so late in the SNES' life cycle. When FE2 is in question, I do agree that it would probably be treated like Zelda 2 and such. I prefer it to the original in almost every regard but I guess that would be kind of subjective (as with Zelda 2).

I wanted to go with Wrys in Fe11/12 but since RNG abandoned him and I didn't feel like abusing, I just went with Merric/Ellerean. Wendell for FE1 since no other mage has any str growth haha.

I've wanted the Baron class to make a return for a long time now. Though it wouldn't have to be called that, just them being heavily armored units with tomes would suffice. Besides that, there could always be more Halberdier/Sentinel -style classes.

It would probably feel significantly better to play the games on the actual handheld, but I've grown accustomed to using the emulator by now. I just made a custom skin that makes the game screen slightly bigger and fills the rest of the screen with a black background so that I might forget that I am playing on an emulator, haha. Also using a gamepad while playing on an emulator helps.

There have been some complex or seldom used words in Awakening of which I was not familiar with prior to seeing them (not being a native speaker). But other than that there aren't all that many, although I remember learning "coup d'etat" on my initial Gaiden playthrough.
