He might have thought that having Ike be exactly like the games might have been overpowered. I mean, can you imagine how Ike would be if he was as mighty AND as fast as he was in the games? He'd be pretty broken, no doubt.

He's talking about the game Ike hails from originally, which was Path of Radiance. In that game, those were Ike's two best stats. He was strong, yes, but he was also seriously quick. Like, my Ike maxed speed. A lot.

It sounds interesting, although Branded(unless we're thinking of a different Brand from Tellius) were just markings to show whom had Laguz heritage in their Beorc ancestry, if memory serves.

Lunatic would be my third or fourth playthrough, actually. I beat Normal mode and then started a Hard mode file. I also have a second normal mode on the side.

I WANT to do Lunatic and Lunatic+...but I'm terrified. Hell, I'm having a bit of trouble with HARD MODE. This is my first time ever actually doing Hard Mode.

The thing about Renown though, at least in my case, is that it was halved. Was that supposed to happen?

I enjoyed it, and it was indeed hard to put down. It's just not really perfect if it has a few issues. It's close, though. One of the closest that, I feel, I have ever played.

If this game were perfect, it wouldn't HAVE any cracks in anything, now would it? =P Be it factual or perceived.

I have to admit, reading that kind of hurt me, too. I know it's far from perfect, and maybe it's just my nostalgia glasses, but this was one of my favorite Fire Emblem games. I had a lot of fun with it, and I'd like to go back to it again. Hell, I kind of wish they would remake it(not that it really NEEDS it) with some of the better features from later games(like Pair Up). It might be a stupid and terrible desire, but hey! I just really love this game, for a lot of reasons.
