  1. GBA Mage Knight Lord Idea
     

    Use magical tomes to change the properties of the sword:

    Dark Magic: Each attack recovers 3 HP per attack

    Anima Magic: Uses 3/4 of the Strength stat to do magical damage to Resistance stat

    Light Magic: Adds 5-10 crit to the sword (depending on game balance 

    This only works with their unlimited use personal sword that has the stats of an iron sword. Through story, the sword eventually powers up to be the legendary weapon of the game.

    Anyone with coding skills feel free to use this idea if you like it

    Gains Elixir Arrow on mastery. This combat art deals magical damage to the target foe. After combat, it damages foes and heals allies adjacent to the target foe.

    Wyvern Riders with decreased stats but possessing some magical affinity.

    With my added classes, sword users  in particular would have a metric ton of versatility. They could go from Swordmaster/Hero to Trueblade, Champion, Sentinel, or Mortal Savant. Axe users would also gain a couple of alternate paths. And Lancers would get a dedicated infantry class.

    The alchemist sounds amazing!

    Area if effect healing and damaging at the same time sounds broken!

  3. Pair up is insanely powerful!

    You can switch at any time even when the unit is grayed out.

    Also, you can switch at the beginning of your turn to use whoever has the highest movement!

    Then you can switch back to who you want to defend on enemy phase.

    Only downside is that, if one unit is defeated, they’re both defeated.

    This is so much fun!

    My fe6 cart froze while Ellen healed Roy and deleted all my data.

     

    The save is working now.

    Was this a freak accident, a sign that the internal battery is dying or something else?

     

    As far as I can tell, it's an official cart with a serial number.

     

     

  6. Most team combinations are viable on Normal mode.

    A Normal run, can teach you the mechanics of that specific game as well as the strengths and weaknesses of certain characters. This will give you a feel for what is viable on harder modes.

    Also, fe tends to work in extremes. What is good in Normal mode tends to be amazing in Hard mode and vice versa.

    For example, swords have high accuracy in fe6. Rutger (sword user) wrecks fe6 normal mode, so chances are he's a great unit for hard mode.

    Kaga (series creator) made the game winnable using tons of different methods. I believe he wanted the player to be able to pick the units and strategy that they preferred.
