  1. Should Azel have a higher strength growth to reflect the fact that he carries a fire tome (weight 12) for 6 chapters. By the time he's a Mage Knight, he should be jacked. Not only would he benefit on promotion, but it's also realistic

  2. Merry Christmas Eve all!

Anyone think that The Free Knight/Forrest Knight class would make more sense for Ares than the Cavalier/Paladin?

    1) The Free Knight class is more of a mercenary class (ie Beowulf and the mercenary bosses in fe4), whereas a Cavalier seems to be more common among nobility/country armies. Ares spent a good chunk of his life being raised as a Mercenary, so I think the mercenary class makes sense on him. Also, his original leader/adoptive father was a Free Knight. It's likely that this is when Ares learned to fight because he was getting to the appropriate age

    2) The Free Knight has less armor and can have blonde hair. So asthetically, the class looks closer to Ares.

    3) the high skill cap of the Forrest Knight compliments the Mystletainn. Though, admittedly, Ares' low skill growth would hamper this

    4) I guess the developers wanted to ensure you'd have one cavalier, but they could've given that role to Delmud maybe

  3. Lol, Christmas knights! It's funny because it's true! The green and facial/hair features definitely reminds me of Sety, but I'll give you that he looks a lot like Abel too. Robin has the Cain color scheme, but other than that, she doesn't really look like him.

  4. Hey,

Does anyone else think that Robin's green costume looks like Sety (Ced) from fe4 and fe5? Not sure if this has been asked before. I don't think the developers did it in purpose, but Robin's face and hair remind me a lot of Sety. The robe does as well, but to a less extent than the face and hair. I feel like the resemblance is especially prevalent when he does his neutral A wind combo-ender

  5. So I'm guessing the reason Alvis couldn't keep ruling after having a son was that his son was born in Valhalla and Alvis wasn't? Otherwise, it seems weird that Azmur would make Alvis give up the throne upon having a child since nobility typically rules till death right?

  6. Azmur (Valhalla's king) stated that Alvis will take the throne until Alvis has a child to succeed Azmur. Wasn't Azmur's point to keep Heim's bloodline as the ruling family via Alvis's marriage to Deidre? If that's the case, shouldn't Julia have ruled Valhalla instead of Julius since she carries the Heim bloodline?

  7. Oh cool, it becomes blue upon recapture? That makes sense because it would be the player's castle upon recapture. That Laylea warp strategy is really creative. Couldn't have pulled it off though. I'm doing an all substitutes run and you can't pass down the warp staff to fixed characters. The staff can't be bought until Chapter 9. At this point, I'm way passed Chapter 6 though. I'll just check my rank upon completion. Shouldn't be too long. Seliph can solo this game with the right equipment and a leg ring. Thanks for all of the advice everyone!

  8. Hey all,

I beat Chapter 6 without conquering Isaac Castle. Would that reduce my Tactics rating or is it only if the castle gets destroyed under the player's control? I am thinking of doing something similar in Chapter 9 with Hannibal's castle, (still recruiting him, but not conquering his castle). I couldn't find the answer in the Rankings section of fe4. Will failing to conquer every castle reduce your Tactics Rank?
