  1. Anyone else kinda underwhelmed with turneys? I was really hyped for them, but now that they're here the community ones never get finished or matches never start since there is no proper etiquette to timing the matches with random people, it seems like it would work for people on a forum like this, or people on skype, but not random. And then the scheduled official tournaments are always packed with people so at least I can never get into one (for the time being anyway) and whenever I can get into one it always can't connect me to my partners device, immediately removing me from the tourney, this isn't a one time occurrence either, it happened on four separate occasions, this problem almost never happens to me when I'm doing one on ones so it's very disappointing to me. This isn't to say they're all bad, I've just had bad experiences with them in the last 16 hours, I'm sure that it will get better over time similar to the splatoon global test demos. How are everyone else's experiences going with the tournament mode so far?

  2. While I'm most definitely going for Nohr on my first playthrough, I don't want them to necessarily be evil, but more along the line of "we need to do what needs to get done for our nation". I would like it to be similar to a real war in some sense where as both nations have a reason to go to war and view each other as the evil nation, rather than a standard "play as evil or good"

  3. I always kinda wondered why hardcore SMT fans hate Persona and vice versa.

Honestly it's really comparable to why majority of the fans of the older FE games hate the fans of Awakening. In America at least, while mainline SMT has been around for ages persona is much newer by comparison, and has generated a mass following, especially with Persona 3 + 4, afterwords Persona became Atlus's sonic the hedgehog, and has been milking the same two games for the last 7 years, in those seven years a lot of things were generated from the two games included forced memes, breaking the original characters, and the fandom of the spinoff trying to change the mascot of the main series. All the meanwhile not trying to play the prior games in the franchise, or extend themselves out of their "persona"l barrier, and as such gained a really bad reputation for being people who don't have a respect for the series. Granted the mainline fans aren't the most eloquent of types to introduce them to the older (and frankly better) games often spouting "y dunt uu plai a rele sheen megoomi tensie gaym" causing backlash from the persona fandom, and afterwards it just becomes a constant back and forth conflict that will unfortunately never see a resolution.

  4. I'll be going with Nohr mostly due to the whole "bloodline vs loyalty" choice brought up in the trailer. While they are painting out the kingdom to be antagonistic, the three party members shown seem to be as friendly as any other important story unit beside the aversa-esque character. However with my decision in the long run it'll be about "hey these people took me in when I had no place left to go even though I'm a prince(ss) of the rivaling kingdom, and raised me" That seems more important to me than a simple blood relationship.... not to mention I would feel like the villain if I went against my cute twin-tailed imouto.

  5. The assumption being that if Lucina hadn't been included, someone else with a unique moveset would be? If they didn't give one to Lucina, why would they bother giving one to someone else?

Not so much of an assumption rather than a general want of different female representative for the series, Nothing more than personal wanting here I'm afraid
