This is pretty cool! I haven't gotten around to buying the first Xenoverse yet, but this really gives me a reason to.

I used to go to school while riding my bike, it was faster than taking the city bus and I got some good exercise from it. I enjoy biking quite a bit, I realize that biking isn't for everyone but I really encourage people to do so. The only downside I had when I did commute via bike is sweat, although that was remedied through carrying my actual school shirt/deodorant in my bag while wearing a tank top or something.

I'm quite fond of Fuyuhiko, but that's about the only character that I like. With a few exceptions I honestly found the mysteries a lot weaker this time around, don't get me wrong the first game still had it's fair share of obvious mysteries
N037, but this time around I felt like I knew everything that was gonna happen, and who killed who before the class trial even started, which wasn't the case in 1. -
Candy stores and Subway, both get my mouth watering and my wallet lighter.

Seriously though, this is by far one of my favorite starters so far. I love the typing, and as someone who purely picks grass types for starters this is such a nice change of pace.

You can put the song in yourself, however you would have to replace a song in order to do that.

I'll never understand Naoto's popularity; she ruins the pacing, her "twist" isn't one and her subplot is the least well-integrated in the main story. What do we see of that in the main story? Hell, what do you even do in the social links? Again, the "twist" at the end of her link is laughable as well and not even a child would be unable to see it coming. I mean as a character she's alright I suppose, but she's the least well written out of the bunch.
Because they wanted to ship Yu with more girls, and they needed another party member who was terrible until golden...

Big maps, amazing ost, great characters, decent story, and a generation gimmick that doesn't seem forced is why I love Genealogy.

Sorry man, I consider Felicia a prepromote, and Xander is a bit obvious. This run was specifically to not use prepromotes.

Out of curiosity why don't you like prepromotes? You make everygame in the series harder by not using them. Like you haven't used Seth or FE7 Marcus? I love those guys. Camilla is the second best unit in Conquest too imo.
My first FE was Awakening so I have a stigma of all prepromotes being outpaced by earlier units.

So I have been having a lot of fun with this game, the overall mechanics and gameplay is so good this time round, but with all the good times and memories that I like to have with every game that I play; I also like to have my fair share of grueling experiences with the games I like. So I decided to finally man up, and attempt my first Lunatic run of a Fire Emblem. Then a friend of mine decided to joke around talking about how I never use prepromotes in FE games. From that joke I decide to pour a little salt on the wound and ban them from this run, finally deciding to just pour the whole container of salt into the deep cut and make it a PMU to increase my odds of having the worst/best time of my life.
Basic Rules apply as always
- 16 Units to pick from, including a full avatar customization.
- Any class for units, I have dlc pack 1 so any dlc classes that come from those chapters or from path bonuses are available to use.
- Prepromotes aren't available to pick from.
- Lottery shop, Lilith Bars, and random items are A-OK
If you guys have any other ways I can make this playthrough a living nightmare for myself be sure to submit suggestions and I will take all of them into account!
I will be recording this and uploading it for all of you laugh at my expense :)
